Hex smirked, but rubbed his arm when Crystal hit him.

"Relax, Catgirl. I'm just talkin' shop." the bounty hunter growled. Meanwhile . . .

((Enter Arell, C.J. and Antigua from New York))

The truck pulled up to the graveyard as the other three got out of the car. Gathering around the grave that minutes before, had Hex and Dundee waiting to get in.

"Jesus, she's gotta pick a better name than some'un who's dead." C.J. mused, pulling out a lighter. "You still smoke, Arell?" he asked.

"Naw, man. Had inspiration t' quit not too long ago. Thanks, though." Arell said, his Cajun growl cut like a knife.

"I might need one do'. Haven't had a good ganja in so long." Antigua mused as she sat down on the ground, Arell leaning on the headstone and C.J. standing in front of the grave.

"Hope she gets here soon. This place gives me the creeps." C.J. growled.

Alex blinked, took a quick look about her surroundings, then down at her feet to make sure she had a good amount of ground beneath her. She just blinked and she was in a completely new place....did quite a number on her bearings.

Sapphire glanced around the city scape around her. "That was the quickest trip I think we've ever had." she said quietly.

"No kidding." Alex mumbled, looking back at the two others.

Sapphire nodded, then glanced back at Alex. "We ready then?"

"Yeah. Should we head back to where he stays at? Or look around here first?" Alex replied.

"This late, we could probably look around the City first, then head elsewhere. If we can't find him, then maybe we can split up. One stay here, and the other go back to his place and see if he's there." Sapphire replied.

Both women turned to look at the newcomer. Neither recognized him...but since the Stranger seemed to know him, they didn't feel the need to jump into a fighting position.

"...we need to find some of the heroes of Gotham. Namely Batman." Sapphire replied.

"Alright. We'll try to keep things covered here." Sapphire replied, looking at Stranger.

The two women paused quietly for a moment, then turned their attention towards Azrael. "Thanks for offering to help. I really don't know what we're up against, but I know we need to find Batman and the others." Sapphire said to him.

"Alright then. Should we look around the city first? Or....should someone go see if he's home. If we were dropped off here, I don't imagine he is. But still..." Alex asked.



Meanwhile, sitting in the main lobby of one of the biggest jewelry stores in Gotham, was a slender woman in a black and red harlequin costume. She sighed, rocking a surprisingly large mallet back and forth on the marble floor in front of her as she relaxed in one of the cushioned seats. The security cameras had been taken out, the security guard was tied up and taking a nap in the back room, anything valuable was ripe for the taking.
But.....she just wasn't in the mood to bring anything shiny home.

She sighed, and just continued to stare up at he ceiling above her. Thinking. She had come here to get her mind OFF everything. But...that seemed to backfire. Badly. Now she had this nice big place all to herself. All quiet. All her henchmen back at home playing cards and counting money.

Just time to think.

And think.

And think.

The majority of her mind was wrapped around the mystery woman that broke into her room in the middle of the night and.....well.....created a problem Harley had never had to deal with before. Honestly, not even Pammy put her in any situation like this. She didn't know a THING about this woman. Not even a name. She just came in during the night, pinned her down on the bed, questioned her about Puddin, and then.....UGH.
What had SHE been thinking that night? She wasn't like that. A complete stranger...a woman just....

.....

....though...to be honest...from what she did remember about that wild night.....it was....kind of....better....than with Joker. Nicer at least.

OH! And then there was the fact, erm, possible fact, that HE'D found himself another leading lady! True...she was the one to call it off and left him in Arkham to start her own little group...BUT STILL!! He actually had the NERVE to replace HER! She went through all this trouble to prove that she could make it as a criminal and not a henchman, and he does THAT?

...well...she was doing the solo thing for herself anyway. And with as many people that had come to her looking for Joker, it might be for the best. He'd gotten himself into some kind of trouble.

....hm. Casper was pretty cute though. And she didn't really know why. He didn't seem like he was her type, but....just something about him. She could easily get lost being around him. Maybe she would try and help him find Joker. You know. Just to get his sweetheart's kid back before something happened.
