Kin stood with with his arms folded and an expression of confused. "Didn't you say you had to return that ring to someone in the next town?" Kin asked Vilya, wondering why she didn't run after him. "Oh well, I don't really care. I'm just mad you let him get away." Kin tried to explain and sat down. I wanted to kill that guy so badly. If I only saw the bound creature he controlled earlier, I wouldn't have thought he was weak. Kin thought to himself in anger.
Vix laughed. Kin ignored Vix and scowled. "I have never had a more annoying day." Kin announced. "Having all this energy and no one to fight, it drives you crazy. You know what I mean?" Kin asked the large group of combatants, hoping at least someone understood him. Vix reminded Kin.
Kin replied in a harsh tone. Kin's golden cat eyes wandered to Minatsuki who lay there. Something about her distracted Kin. Maybe because their similar fighting styles or something else...
((Have I driven it into your mind enough yet that Kin has golden cat-like eyes? Lol.))

Asako had been next to Minatsuki through the entire ordeal, staying edgy just in case. After the figure had left, Asako shifted uncomfortably in her spot, trying to relax. She looked down at her neck and realized that her ribbon had burned off during the previous battle and sighed mentally at what Minatsuki would say after she had woken up.
It drove her extremely uneasy that she was not waking up already. Perhaps because of the blood she had lost, but Minatsuki had faster healing process than normal people, partially due to pheonix tears in her blood. Detecting Kin's eyes, Asako returned his frustrated look with her fiery glare; she was feeling extremely edgy because Minatsuki wouldn't awake.

"I know what you mean, somewhat. When one is in the mood for battle, it is difficult to sate that hunger without actually engaging in battle." Sai said and lowered himself back into a sitting position. Stratus also curled back down onto the ground where Sai could easily lay against him.
Sai thought back to Stratus and felt himself drifting away... ((He is asleep now.))
((When your character has gone to sleep just say so in OoC like this. Once everybody is asleep we will say that it is morning and then we can all wake up.))

Vilya caught Kin's golden eyes. "I let him get away?" She smiled, "You have two legs and a heartbeat, same as me, what was stopping you? And as for the ring, I know something he doesn't."
Tura lay back down close to the fire, she was too tired to keep her eyes open.
"When you bend a spell--as was done to that ring-- you can bend it permanently or for a short while. If you bend it for a little while though..." She picked a small stick off the ground and bent it as an example. "The original spell becomes brittle once the bending wears off, and when it is tested..." She unbent it and tried to bend it once more, the stick snapped in two. "I can't say exactly how long that ring will hold onto its defensive spell, but when it breaks, it'll do so with a bang." She tossed the stick aside with that and concerned herself with the sleeping Minatsuki and her worried phoenix.
She checked her pulse and temperature, making sure she was breathing steadily and easily.
"She'll be okay," Vilya assured Asako. "She's just in a deep sleep recovering from blood loss and magic drain. The sleep is also partly spell-induced, it'll help her recover more quickly." She then caught the fire bird's worried eyes. "But she'll be completely vulnerable until she wakes. She'll need an excellent guard until then."
Tura's tired voice crept into Vilya's mind.
"Hey, gold-eyes." Vilya walked back to the fire, taking her place just in front of Tura. "If you want to use your energy, tie an alert spell to all of us so we know when more combatants decide to try and bash our heads in."
Vilya lay back against her companion, grabbing the blanket that had fallen nearby and spreading it back over the gryphon.
"There's one more blanket in the pack." Vilya yawned at Kin. "It's yours if you need it." With that she rolled over and closed her eyes.

((Eh... I thought we were starting the next day. >.>))
Kin starred with a blank expression at Vilya's comments. Shes annoying. Kin thought to himself. Kin went into the pack and took the blanket out and held it up, pondering what he should do with it. Kin explained, confused with the whole situation. Vix ignored Kin, meaning he was resting. Kin growled to himself. "Useless." Kin said quietly. Well I don't need it. Kin's mind wandered. "Effingo." He said, duplicating the blanket and then covered Vilya and Minatsuki with them. Kin then looked around making sure no one noticed his kindness and then sat down.
"Alertness spell?..." Kin thought out loud, crickets sounding in the background. "Ah." Kin said, not remembering how it was done. "Erectus obex." A purple shaped dome expanded around Kin and then around the whole camp into the nearby trees, then faded away like it was never there. When a large enough creature enters the invisible dome, a nerve shoots to your brain and wakes up all beings within the dome when it was activated. Kin thought back to when he first learned it. Kin folded his arms and rested his eyes, slowly unknownly drifting asleep.
((Alertness spell isn't unique is it?... Blah.))

Vilya awoke to sunlight pouring over the trees and into their clearing. Birdsong filled the forest around them and a calm breeze drifted over the dormant fire pit.
She blinked sleepily before sitting up and stretching her arms to the sky. her sleeves smelled pleasantly of wood smoke. The blanket slipped off her shoulders and she looked down, raising an inquisitive eyebrow at it.
Tura was still fast asleep and Vilya got up carefully so as not to disturb her. She began packing things away. All their food had gone the previous night but the next town promised a good meal once they reached it.
After a short while she sat back down, enjoying the sounds of morning and waiting for the rest of the group to wake.

"You don't need to be so quiet." Kin said suddenly. "I have been awake for two hours." Kin explained as his resting eyes opened. "Those two have been acting pretty good, don't you think so?" Kin said and pointed at the two men that had battled with Sai and Minatsuki.

Vilya jumped when Kin had spoken, turning around to look at him.
"Yeah," she said in response. "The sleep spell in the rope is working better than I thought it would."
There was a short silence before Vilya picked up the blanket she had and began packing that away too.
"Thank you." She held it up before folding it. It wasn't hard to guess he had given it to her, seeing as he was the last one asleep the night before.

Raidek's eyes opened with to the sound of a thud. He sat up, his hand extended out for his hook swords, but he stopped and saw Fenrir, looking at he form of a deer laying dead before him, blood rolling over its hide.
Raidek sat up, moving to the carcass of the deer, grabbing the sickle, dragging the blade with it, he began to gut it, letting the guts fall out, picking up the heart, and took a bite of the raw heart: warm and could almost feel the past beatings of the once live organ. The blood ran down the sides of his mouth and he smiled at its sweet taste as he consumed it. Slicing the rest of the apart, he cut the meat into strips placing some sticks on the ground, pointing to them, "Incendia..." The pieces of wood lighting on fire. He fashioned some sticks so that he could place the pieces of meat over the fire without them falling into it, and then did so. Watching as the pieces dried slowly, turning them jerky, after which he would place them in a bag so that he could eat during his travels.

"Uhn..." Sai groaned from where he had fallen on his side, his back still resting against his dozing dragon. He felt awareness return after a restful, dreamless, nights sleep. It had been the sounds of Vilya and Kin speaking to each other that had awoken him and he groggily pushed himself up onto one elbow. "Wha's goin on?" He mumbled while trying to blink vision back into his eyes.
Stratus said to Sai within his head.
Sai asked, even his mental speech reduced to mumbling in his groggy still half asleep state.
Sai responded finally becoming truly awake.
Sai countered halfheartedly. He rose to his feet, holding the blanket while he stood so that it would not fall to the ground.
"Morning." He said to Vilya and Kin.

Standing there, Raidek watched the fire go out, the sack full of jerky tie to his waist, the bag bulging from all sides. Picking up the chain sickle, an wiped the blood of the blade, making a coil once again and strapping it to his waist.
Raidek sighed, he had wanted to examine the ring, but he had no chance to do it unless he wanted to first find the pile of...well yeah, and then dig through it.
Raidek laughed slightly, his dead tone falling silent quickly.
With that Raidek headed towards where he had fought last night. Oh the reasons I'm willing to make friends with people for. Passing through the trees, he began to hear voices, and soon he saw them through the trees, in the same place they had been.
The word seemed to have to be forced from Fenrir's mind.
Raidek walked out into the clearing, alert, and with Fenrir close behind. "Morning..." Looking at the them and their creatures, he kept relaxed, not showing any need for uneasiness, nor aggression.

Sai felt the man enter the clearing before he saw him. A sharp pang in his mind alerted him to the thief's presence moments before he actually even entered the clearing. Already on his feet Sai held his hand out to one side, palm down, and muttered a simple incantation. A small but focused gust of wind grabbed hold of his staff where it lay on the ground and swiftly lifted it up to Sais hand. Sai took hold of the staff while releasing the small spell. Behind him Stratus whirled to his feet and stopped, poised, on all fours wings spread low, ready to launch himself forward at a moments notice.
"What are you doing here?" Sai demanded as he whirled his staff into a posture that he could quickly turn either offensive or defensive. "If you think you will get off as lightly as you did last night, then you are terribly mistaken."

"I apologize about my last night. Hunger can make quite the affect on someone...I am sorry. If you and your party are hungry I have some jerky, but I understand if you don't trust my food...especially after last night. As to my appearance here it is not simply to apologize, but also to ask if I may join you." Fenrir looked to the dragon and simply sat, waiting for Raidek's request to be accepted or denied.

As Raidek entered the clearing, Asako and Minatsuki awoke, Asako more alert than Minatsuki.
"Ugh..."
Minatuki groaned, holding onto her head. The blanket slipped off of her arms, and down to unfamiliar clothes that were clearly not hers. The waves of dizziness caught her off guard, but Asako immediately supported Minatsuki by spreading her wing and wrapping it around Minatsuki's shoulder.
Quietly, Minatsuki asked, still holding onto her head.
<...>
<...... Master Osei will know about last night soon... You know that, right?>
<.... s**t...>
Minatsuki's jaws clenched tighter. Waving Asako's wings away, Minatsuki looked down at her new set of clothes with raised eyebrows.
<... What is this?>
Slowly getting up, Minatsuki stretched and yawned.
"Damn, I'm hungry. Anyone got breakfast?"
