He raised an eyebrow at her. "I thought you had an appointment with my father. You can... play with him." To tell the truth, when was he never not on duty? But he dropped the bell topic and turned to Raynes, taking the list from him and scanned over it. That was a lot more than he had predicted... "Good. Make sure him and all on his team are certified for the job, we do not want another disaster that we can hopefully avoid." His eyes turned towards the two elves a bit aways for a moment before riveting back towards the guard in confusion. "Read it out loud."

She sighed and ran her hands through her hair, which had been a mistake because it was white and blood just messed it all up. "He needs to be healed, it doesn't matter who takes the credit for it. Go on Kronos, finish it up." Blood was still pouring and she glanced down in disgust. She looked like she'd been the one crushed by rubble. And it was getting into little crevices that were highly annoying...like her navel and the valley of her breasts. "I'm working on it, Savvy. Just let me catch my breath a moment." Turning her body slowly, she leaned back until a pile of rubble became her support and threw her bloody braid over her shoulder. "Don't say it Savryn Silverfeather D'vinn."

Caden watched as the commander went over the list and nodded in his reply. "Sure I'll go tell him when I'm done here." Though a look to Jae and he smiled a little bit. "Well if you want to go play with someone why no go to the orphanage? I bet the kids would be happy to play with you." a chuckle to that before he turned in another direction to see the elves huddled together for some reason, he hoped that the drow was alright she looked pretty bad. But when he looked back to the manifest he scrunched his forehead together as he tried to read it. "Can't really make it out..." He paused and turned it over to the commander. "But I know for a fact it wasn't in my coat pocket when I took it off...I wonder who left it there?" It was odd to hear that but he hoped someone could make sense of it, this day was getting a little more stranger each second.

Kronos sighed in relief, and he made his way over to the man who though no longer bleeding as heavily as he had been doing so before he still needed some attention. It seemed that Kronos was going to have to use a little stronger dose of magic then he was used to. Something which wasn't too much of a problem.
Kneeling next to the man, he pulled back the sleeve from his left wrist to reveal a intricate circular symbol, filled with archaic, almost other worldly symbols and geometrical symbols, which had been branded unto his flesh. Pressing the index and middle finger of his right hand unto the symbol, he channeled energy into it, which brought the symbols to life in a small blaze of soft purple light. As the symbols moved on his wrist, they were channeling this energies amplified into his palm, which quickly became engulfed in that same soft purple light.
Once the light had completely engulfed his left hand, he pressed it against the ailing man, the energy in turn engulfed the injured man, healing whatever wounds remained.
Kronos sighed, rising slowly from the ground, winded. "I don't recommend doing that very often" he giggled as he made his way back to Shyrae. "You okay?" he asked her.

"But he's no fun like you are." She was a horrible flirt with him, always had been. Thusly batting her eyes at him before he went all business again and amber eyes shifted to Caden. Not what she meant but that happened a lot with humans. "Orphans need not remind themselves of thier own pasts. If you were in an egg and hatched without your parents, you would understand that." Shrugging lightly. It wasn't said in condesending tone, merely matter of fact. Rolling her eyes she snatched the list from him, reading it over. "Talk about your supply list, this is outrageous. Who needs that much rum?"
"I'm not saying a word because you already know I'm saying it in my head. You can't play miss fix it like that all the time. It's dangerous. You're not even all frown up yet." Sighing and shaking her head lightly. Kneeling down next to her friend she checked her over as if she had the sight to look and see what was going on. "We don't need anything else bad happening. I'm supposed to be taking care of you."

It was on the tip of her tongue to mention that she might not need help or taken care of but that would be mean and Shyrae wasn't mean very often. Instead she kept her mouth shut and just nodded. "I know..." She glanced over and watched Kronos for a moment then sighed and dropped her forehead on to her knees. The blood would stop, she just had to make it happen...and not rune anymore. But she lifted her head and gave a bloody smile to Kronos, "I will be. Thank you for finishing up what I could not." Oh it was hard saying that.

Kronos sent a goofy smile right back at her. "There's no need to thank me, I was just tying up some loose ends, nothing more. Trust me, if it wasn't for you, that man would have remained swiss cheese. I'm just a human remember, and not gifted at magic at that. I have to force it." he laughed. He extended towards and smiled once again. "My name is Kronos, it's a pleasure and an honor to meet you ma'am." he wasn't too sure how she was going to react to so forward an approach. He had to admit, that his experience with elves was extremely limited, so for all her knew, he had just insulted her honor.

Kaz gave her one of those looks that said "now is not the time but that is cute" and then turned back to the guard. "It is not the time to play anyways, Raynes." Before he had the chance to take the paper though, Jae had snatched it up herself. Moving to her side, he glanced over the list as well, trying to make out the horrendous writing. "It's from the Chimera. No other ship has passed by our gates in a very long time." A moment's pause to think and then taking the list from her, rolling it back up and stuffing it into a side pocket on his leg. "Lord Lycear will want to see that."

"Just rest up Shyrae." A look to the human who was introducing himself now she assumed in general. "Magic is there for those who wish to use it, elven or not." Trying to keep her disdain for humans down, after all she wasn't from this plane. Raising a hand she pet softly at Chylithair on her shoulder. Far as names though...well she had yet to give out her own, even if Shyrae had said it a time or two. Savryn didn't pass out her name much.
A blink as the list was then taken from her and Kaz went back to being his Commander self. "Chimera huh? Hey...I could of taken it to him. Is he preoccupied Kaz? I wouldn't want to both him if he's in the midst of something more important. He said he just wanted to see me about some maps and assitance in where we've already searched for you know what. In fact, it was for you." Rocking on her heels and flicking her tail. "Goin' somewhere? Kaz Kaz?"

"We're both very pleased to meet you Kronos," she cut in smoothly before Savvy could say anything to upset or piss him off. Thankfully she left it at that. She reached out adn lightly took his hand, patting the other side of it. "Still, thank you nonetheless." Wincing as his hand was now bloody, she cursed her idiocy. "I'm sorry, Kronos. I don't have anything to clean it up with either." Her gaze went to Savvy and she chewed on her bottom lip. "We still need to get supplies and such don't we?" When she could move, which in all likelihood wasn't going to be too soon. She was feeling slightly lightheaded but she pushed herself to her feet and took five forced steps before she hit the ground again.

Oh, here was one of those 'I wished I had thought of that' moments. Perhaps his logic was never as good as Jae's. Because well she was right essentially, she was going off to see his father anyways. "Not that I know of, I just finished meeting with him." But a more interested look when he found out the subject matter of her meeting was going to be about him. "Sure am, Jae Jae..." Something like playful sarcasm in his voice to mirror her, though he never strayed far from his usual solemnness. Maybe there was a tiny bit of pride in there too. "A Laerethe entered the city a few days ago, I'm sure you heard about it. She chose me to accompany and assist her on a renewed search for the Orb."

Kronos took one look at his hand, and could not help but laugh. This wasn't the first time that this hand had been covered in blood. He merely smiled at her and wiped the blood on his pants' leg. "Eh don't worry about it, it's not that hard to remove blood stains for clothing, if you know what to use." he smiled at Shyrae.
Kronos then turned to face Savryn, though he wasn't sure about her name, he smiled at her, even though he got the vibe that he wasn't like by her. "Yes, magic is a universal force, much like the power that can be generated by running water. But, that doesn't mean that there aren't exception for the rules. I am one such exception, the other plane jumper said it best, I have all the pipes necessary for the flow of magic, but for some reason of other there too narrow to allow normal flow, it's why I'm forced to amplify my magic with rather painful casting circles." he said in a somewhat solemn voice, more from tiredness then anything else.

Ears twitched to Kronos' words. "Even for elves, our magics are not fee of burden. It is the curse of all those who use magics and such. The natural balance of the collective cosmos you could say." Savvy didn't like this. She could barely even see what her friend was doing but she knew that she was going things she shouldn't be doing. Like getting up and moving. Turning around, she frowned in the general direction of her friend as under her hood, clouded over eyes narrowed. "Stop being foolish Shyrae!" Walking over till her toes bumped into her friend and she pulled her up, lacing her arm over her own shoulders. "Are you trying to make me send you back home, thinking you're not ready for this?"
"No fair, who will I bother?" Duely she grabbed him by one of his horns to make him bend his head some to be more at her eye level. Naturally she was a tad smaller than he was. "A Laerethe...you're serious?" Smile growing wider on her face. He loved those things and she found them fascinating. "And you're the one that gets to be around it?" Ever growing excitment...until she realized how she was holding him adn let go, clearing her throat. He was playing Commander right now...she had to respect that...couldn't be touching all over him and such. "Heard yes, but I figured it was a rumor. Well...congradulations Commander. That's some honor to get. I'm happy for you."

She sighed, there was no getting away from this, was there? "I just moved too fast...I'm fine." It wasn't like she could sit out in the middle of the street the rest of the day. They had to make sure their rooms were still open and they needed supplies. She wasn't going to force Savvy to do all that by herself. She was grateful for having her to lean on though. "I expended a little more energy than I thought I did. That's all." Though her tone went far more quiet at that and she dropped her head a moment. "I hope not...my father would kill me if I came home like this."

Golden eyes widened as she more or less just grabbed his head and forced it down to her level. It wasn't painful really, and she had done it before often, but it still got him every time. "Yes, exciting isn't it?" Though he gave a covert cough, eyes rolling up to his horn to imply his message. He didn't get angry at her much though, she was just like that. And more often than not, she did manage to crack a smile out of him. "It is a great honor, but for future reference, it is actually a she... But don't pout, perhaps I shall return with a souvenir for you. You like sand?" Though turning his attention to Shyrae for a moment when he saw her collapse onto the street. Moving over to the pair of elves, he acknowledged them. "Thank you for your healing efforts, Shyrae. Though I see that it has been at your own expense... May I offer my assistance?"
