"Nezumi I want you to put a bit of distance between yourself and that Arbok. Then, go ahead and follow up with another thunderbolt." Nezumi obeyed and flawlessly leapt back a few feet, using her tail to balance herself. She then let loose a massive thunderbolt that raced towards the snake pokemon. Brayden looked worriedly to Kaya, although it seemed he was okay. He himself had only taken a Pokemon's attack once, but it was definitely painful enough for him to want to avoid that kind of assault if at all possible. He was still a bit nervous around electric types.
"We're getting closer, Cali, keep at it with another Psychic," Brayden called to the Umbreon before him, turning his attention back to the battle at hand. Caliga nodded, flaring another pulse of energy at the Arbok.

Agatha motioned her Arbok forward, as the mists shifted once more. Agatha grinned, recognizing the pattern, as she pointed to Julian's Pikachu.
"Gunk Shot!" she commanded, as the Arbok spat out a poisonous blob of toxic goop.
However, at the same time, he struck with the poisoned barb on his tail with a burst of speed that was almost unnatural, a devastating attack that was an instant K.O. to Julian's Pikachu.

Chloe watched as the battle with Agatha ended, smiling faintly, "Awesome job, guys!" she nodded.
Agatha recalled her fallen Arbok with a grimace, tapping her cane impatiently on the mine floor as she glared at the group.
"Young kids don't know when they should just stay out of the way," she grumbled to herself.
"You may have won, but our mission is complete here," she declared, motioning to the Galactics behind her. One of the admins spoke into his headset, calling for the withdrawl.
"We have what we came here for," she smirked, raising a hand. Her Gengar materialized from the violet mist, still grinning. A split second later it exhaled a toxic gas that flooded the caverns, turning the visibility to nil. The Galactics made their escape, along with Agatha, and apparently Israfel also vanished, considering he wasn't present either when the gas cleared.

Chloe coughed, trying to clear the air a bit, finally calling out Entreri to use an Aerial Ace to help out a bit. When the smoke cleared, she peered at the mine floor. A faint layer of what looked to be blue gem dust littered the floor of the mines. It took Chloe a moment to recognize their origin.
"Water Stones?" she murmured, picking up one of the chipped pieces of blue off the dirt floor. A further examination revealed that to be the case.
"What on earth would Agatha want with Water Stones?" she muttered. However, she didn't have time to ponder the issue for much longer. A rumbling behind her had Chloe diving to one side as an Onix barreled past. The rock snake roared, rearing as Chloe motioned for Entreri to take up position.

"Alright, use a Focus Blast, then back down," Chloe instructed the Weavile before her, "I want to catch this one."
Entreri nodded, before focusing his energy, tossing a crackling orb of energy at the Onix. The rock snake roared, slamming into Entreri full force. The Weavile took the blow, skidding backwards, before hopping up on top of the Onix.
Chloe threw a Pokeball at the snake, watching as the weakened Onix was drawn inside.
The Pokeball rolled, as Entreri scooped it up a moment later. The Onix tried to escape, but it was too weak to break free. The Pokeball pinged, as Chloe grinned. She transported the Onix to her PC for the time being.

"This is very wierd..." He said quietly.

Julian jumped back and sent out Rose. "Take care of this nuisance with a Leaf storm please." Rose obeyed and launched a volley of leaves at the pokemon, causing it to run away in pain. Julian thanked the ivysaur and patted her on the head gently before returning her to her pokeball. Julian then walked over to Chloe and looked at her with the stone shard in his hand. "What do you think they would want with these?" he asked referring to the shards.

Chloe turned her attention back to the group, nodding at Julian's comment, "I agree," she muttered, as Entreri joined alongside her, poking a shard absently with a claw.
"Whatever they have planned, it looks like they left," she glanced around. Indeed, the only evidence of the Galactics other than the shards of Water Stones and abandoned mining equipment were the effects from the battle. Even the mist was dissipating, now that Agatha was gone.
"I'm not sure what they needed these for. Lorelai would be my guess, though. Unless Agatha has developed a sudden love for water types," Chloe shrugged. She didn't really think that was the case.
"If I had to venture a guess, I'd say it was them preparing for whatever's to come. Although I'm not sure what that is yet..."

Brayden sighed, glad to have the battle with Agatha over with, as he made his way beside Chloe and Julian, listening to Chloe carefully.
"So... with a stockpile like this, it has to be something big..." he murmured, kneeling to examine the water stone fragments as well. Sai sniffed one curiously, from the safety of behind Cali. He seemed to recall something like this before...
"So Agatha's on the move, and apparently Lorelai has a need for lots and lots of Water Stones... I don't think I like the sound of this..." Brayden sighed.
At Julian's question, Brayden nodded, "I think its very possible. When we last saw Lance, he had acquired a sword that, as far as we know, has immeasurable powers. He certainly did seem to have plans for it, although I'm not too sure on what those plans entail. It can't be good, however," Brayden shivered, recalling the look on the dragon master's face as he looked upon the reforged sword.
"He had gained the cooperation of all the Teams from each region in order to gather the fragments of the blade, as well as trap the legendary Pokemon associated with each piece. It would have been a lot of trouble to accomplish that, so whatever he has planned, he certainly must think it worth all the trouble."
