Our show was "Tango" by astro piatzola (not sure how to spell that guys name"
i dont remember all the names of em tho
first movement -tango
2nd- forgot what its called
3rd-oblivion
4th-finale
i loved the soprano sax solo that went through the whole song our soloist "DJ" was amazing too bad he is leaving this year

This past year we did "Darkness Decending."
It's odd because last year the band did "Conspiracy Theory," and the year before that they did "Dreams."
However, this next year, we're doing The Beatles!!!

Our past one was Cosmosaic, and the movements were, and forgive me for forgetting the composers' names-
1) Earth("In Earth as it is in Heaven")
2) Mars("The Planets")
3) Venus("The Planets")
4) Mercury("The Planets")
5) Gliese (Specially done for us, totally awesome!)
6) Jupiter("The Planets")
7) Earth Finale("In Earth as it is in Heaven")
I wanna march this one again... <3 And at my old school, my tenth grade year, we did The Blues Brothers.

our theme was james bond, it was fun to play but not so fun to march with ... :/ I don't know that was my opinion :[ i cant do it next year but I still get to help choose the music that they're going to play :] fun fun

Ours was "Tunes of Gerchwin" and it was fun! Here are the movements:
1) American in Paris
2) Summertime
3) Rhapsody in Blue
I loved the last one because the Tenors played a soli! ^_^

Mvt 2: Dreamland
Mvt 3: The Ballroom
Mvt 4: Hedge Maze
Mvt 5: Explosion
Mind, this was almost a non-stop show and tempos were outrageous. Our show was 8-9 minutes long. It kicked arse.

this year - cosmic chaos.....it was originally The Machines but the Cavalires already did a variation on the machines so we had to rename it.

Our theme for 2007 was Into the Raging River. And we won state champions, again! Last year our theme was Rain, and ironically it rained as soon as we got on the field and stopped when we left. It was kind of creepy but it was awesome. And we won State for the first time ever in our division that year.

i graduated last year, so i wasn't able to participate in the show. the theme though was "Immortal Beloved," with music writen by Beethoven. i don't remember the songs, but the band came in 8th at states. (my sister is still in the band)

This year, we did two shows. Our main one was Tears for Fears: Part 1Part 2 (Everyone loves the end of this part. It's a pretty cool visual.) Part 3Part 4And then one week we did a tribute to the current Mission to Mars which is being led by our school (the University of Arizona). Mission to Mars show Hehe. We learned it in one rehearsal.

Ours was DaVinci's sketchbook. it kicked butt! it was the best show we ever did. And we got a new guard instructor this year so the guard actually rocked... Movements:
1. Mars (Holst's the planets)
2. Pollok (something mr b messed with)
3. One hand one heart (yes, that musical song)
4. Seventh Flight (uh....)
our last movement was the best.. it was an amazing show. last year we were third in invatationals with our japan show. our davinci show, got us 14th in acc's. it was our best season ever.
