"Perhaps you would like to take part in the hunt." The man commented, noting that the arena has finally been taken, driving the Purge out of the city, leaving but a few individuals to defend what remained of the city's freedom. If they had any plans to join in though, they'd probably have to teleport to the outskirts of the city and enter through the gates with the dimensional lock in place.

Sadly, the garden was not used for a nice little picknick or anything. Some bodies were disposed here, used as fertilizer for some of the vampiric varieties of plants. And the poisonous plants grew in abundance to provide the toxins used to make the poisons which the hunter ghouls coated their needles in.

Continuing on, further down the winding tunnels would reveal a large chamber lined with pillars to hold up its ceiling, the room itself extremely large. And all along its floor and walls, resting agains tthe pillars; treasure. Gold littered the room, and baubles and weapons and armour dotted the piles upon piles of gold.

"And this would be part of your army." Decruda stated. Recently, the room had quite some action. Such a place was where Tzenidaar had picked up his massive weapon, and where Moonblade was given his current weapon. The gold and items of course, were products of excavation, and loot from raids. Before, he had no use for gold, so it was never used beforehand, but now, that was an entirely different matter.

Alpha was not as enamoured with the garden as Ra'kar was. It was all matter that needed to be embraced by the exceedingly more beautiful nothingness to the Shadelord. The next room though was of much more interest to Alpha. There were many magical artefacts here amongst the shiny baubles, and those could be drained or corrupted to serve the Forgotten. Yes... This room made this alliance more promising.

Understand child of fire, that I would like nothing better than to see that location decimated. Alpha thought to Ra'kar, But it seems more prudent that we choose our battles carefully, and not commit to fights where we are not aware of the significance. Though if he wishes a show of trust, we will give him a show of trust.

"If I may speak again." The voice once again was that of subservience and not the proud Alpha, "If your defences are already in place, and the tactics are already playing out then perhaps we would be less than effective in that particular battle. We may best serve your designs afterwards in securing the location and in clean up, or perhaps our forces could bolster the next move you have planned. Though I freely admit there could be a stratagem I am missing."

"Ah, but the main form of defense has already been broken." Began the man nothing that the Purge located at the arena had been driven out, "At the moment, this is, as you say, cleaning up." Most notably, he spotted some sort of machine marching through one section of the city, and a small group at the east end. This of course, was the course of action for the time being, unless something unexpected would happen, then he'd have to communicate with those in the area for further instructions.

He'd very much like the city as much intact as possible, and plans were already made to gather the civilian population into safe areas for holding where collateral damage was minimal for the sweeping out resistance.

Meanwhile, outside the Keep...

The same Charon transport that had left Barton magically materialized from nothingness. Flying from town to the north with their fancy technology switched to 'on'. It was now switched to 'off'.

Whether or not Moonblade was there was still being decided on. HE could have stayed in Barton or come with. If it was the latter, he was probably doing something inexplicable. Because zombies are irrational like that.

Two passengers that were sure to be there jumped out of the open hatch of the hovering transport. It would stay there, but with the hatch now closed.

Those two passengers would wander towards the Keep, with the little guy leading. Walking with purpose in his expensive suit, like he knew exactly where to go. Even though he had no idea where anything was, or just how zombie-filled the place is. He kept his pale-a** hands clasped behind his back and had a polite grin plastered on his face.

The bigger guy was behind the little guy's shoulder. He walked with long arms waving at his sides; totally bored out of his mind with no regard for where he was. That's when Gamma pulled out a cigarette and lighter, stuck the butt in his mouth and started in on his nicotine craving.

"Put that out, it's rude."
"Huh?"
"It's rude to walk into another's place of business and start smoking."
"You think they'll really give a s**t? They're zombies for Christ's sake."

Ah, more visitors. Havent we been busy lately?

"Excuse me, but there seems to be a matter I must attend to at this moment." Decruda would say as he bowed once to his guests. " assume you know the way out, but if you happen to like to remain for a bit and take a closer look at the facilities, then be my guest." And so, he'd be heading off, to go meet the new visitors. Supposedly Moonblade got something accomplished. Good.

Underground, zombies would have been hard pressed to make a meal of the coccoon, zombes liked soft things, this would most likely break their teeth. Leo was in a como, in a state of quasi death, fused with his pet fly Clarabelle, or better described, pet watcher. All his mental abilities were channeling negative energy from desecrated land through him, gathering it. With infinate reserves to draw from, would the creatures of Sorrow's keep notice if he started borrowing a little. It wouldn't take long before Clarabelle had enough to summon everything she really needed for the true purpose of bringing Leo to Sorrow's Keep.

There would be no dramatics, no light show, just a vanishing coccon leaving a small sinkhole in the yard. Leo's body was needed elsewhere, a new mind was ready for it.

Alpha nodded at all this information, and gave one more statment before he was dismissed.

"I will request a group of cultists here for you to do as you wish with." A brief pause, "I will mention though, that if you have them put to work in any of the areas that are saturated with the negative, ensure that they are properly sacrificed before the energy takes their bodies. They will know the proper rituals and I'm sure you have your own to allow them to continue their service in death."

And with that, unless the woman had any thing else to say, the disguised Alpha would lead her through the underground fortress and a good distance from the fortress. Where he once again would rend the universe to take them back to the void.

Long overdue post is long overdue.

Gamma and the small, pale man wouldn't have a hard time finding the entrance ot the Keep. Directions and all from Moonblade, which was busy doing something, someplace.

The little guy would naturally enter first, as he was in the lead. Gamma would be immediately at his shoulder, flicking a lit cigarette of to the side before he entered.

And there would be the man dressed in a plain black robe, waiting by the door.

"Good," what time of day was it suppose to be at the moment? Afternoon? We'll say afternoon. "Afternoon gentlemen. You are here to discuss business, yes?"

~Sorry for the interruption,~ the voice spoke to Decruda, ~but I've updates. Please advise, the situation'll probably get dangerous if those suits and the fighters join up.~

What was there to advise? They could just continue whatever course of action they were taking at the moment, or do as they pleased. The drow forces were occupied following their instructions to watch over prisoners, and would act accordingly if challenged. As for everyone else, they could do as they liked as long as it didnt cross over and dismiss any previous instructions.

As for those other ones, well, he had business to discuss.

Longer overdue post was even longer overdue.

The little pale guy in a suit would offer a curt nod and simple "Yes." in response to the robed figure at the door. He'd keep his hands clasped together behind his back in professional waiting.

The big tan guy in a suit wouldn't say anything, and was keeping himself busy by idly looking around the creepy place.

"Right this way then, gentlemen." the dark clothed figured stepped aside and brushed them in through the door.

"I'll get right to the point then, if you dont mind." Well, way to make a statement of being straight forward and no-nonsense. "I would like to, how do you say, purchase your services."

The shorter of the pair kept his gaze forward in whichever direction he'd be lead. Speaking aloud to whoever the cloaked figure was.

"Of course. Ordinarily I would give a list of specific offers, but ah..." He paused, glancing around the room.
"It would seem you have some idea of what you wish."

Gamma was straggling along behind. Making little effort to trail directly, taking in his surroundings with mild curiosity. Not everybody got the chance to see how zombies lived.

"I would believe that you understand that Barton is more or less overrun. A captured city if you will. Incidentally, I have been tasked with the wonderful job of raising an army." For who and what purpose though, he did not say. Though naturally, it was very easy to tell what he was asking for by providing this information.

"I would like to purchase weaponry from your company and knowledge of its use; training if you will." Wow, this sounded like some sort of illegal arms deal in Africa or something, only there really wasnt a Gaia World Government or whatever to unite the nations or cities or s**t to pass out laws on peace and war times and stuff like that. Anyway, "In exchange, I am prepared to pay in gold," or if you want to convert it into what people say in real life, cash, "as well as handing over the city of Barton to your organization to do as you please on the condition that it will become the training ground and central base of operations for this army I am to build."

The zombies of course, in the hallways of the upper levels of the keep, really did not do much but mull around sluggishly and make a croaking moan every once in a while. They did not attack, for visitors were given immunity. So theres really not much to expect from the mindless cohorts made from corpses.

Zombies did not make good soldiers. They were simply too dumb. The S-II ghouls however, were not. The special 'engineered' undead mimiced intelligent life while possessing all the strengths and weakness of undead. However, given their intelligence and limited psionic talent to communicate and strategize with one another, they made excellent soldiers in numbers rather than a dumb mindless horde.
