Rawiya tilted her head to the side slightly and clicked her beak at Kala. She was at least glad to get a greeting for this aerandir! Even if the other one failed to seem to direct any attention her way. Her attention quickly shifted and her eyes went right to the strange item that Alyosha had handed to Ari. For some reason it looked like it would be a lot of fun to her...so she did the most logical thing she could thing of. She tried to snatch it from her mommy's hands.
Ari squeaked slightly as Wiya made a thrust at her in order to try and take the item she had been given. She quickly twirled her hand out of the way, looking surprised, "Hey~! Ok, ok, just w-wait a sec Wiya! Let me get the other things!" Knowing she could never hold off the large aerandir for long she quickly moved over to the cleared space and dumped the contents of her back onto the floor. She then dropped Wiya's gift as well and scooted out of the way.
Wiya bounded over just as Ari got out of the water. She bent her head and curiously nudged the items around on the floor with her beak.

"Blanche?" Emi whispered, glancing down at her charge as the bellowing footsteps of Alyosha rang in her ears. Metallic blue eyes studied the confused gryphon's face for that brief second, pulling out the best smile she could muster through her nerves. A numbing thought rang in the back of her head: she shouldn't be the one that was so nervous.
Once offered the second box, the furry had to shuffle everything. Hoisting the cardboard box under one arm, she secured the safety of the other with her other arm. Large ears flickered to the back of her head as she heard Ary totter off to an empty space, and then a moment later the crash and scuttle of various items falling to the ground beside it. Slowly, Emi passed her gaze down to the small box. What she had expected to be a staff of some sorts was now a few beautifully crafted glowing beads.
Glowing. The woman did her best not to cringe; it was the glowing jar of before all over again. No Emi, these weren't about to blow up.
Two golden beady eyes turned as Rawiya went after her Mother: apparently with the sole intention of picking up the item she held. Following her gaze from the items, then to Kala, to Emi and finally to the box she held in her arm; Blanche decided it would be wise to find out exactly what this item was. Tottering one paw before the other, the normally rather shy gryphon padded on ahead. Emi would just take Ary's lead, right?
"Alright then, come on," Emi passed a smile between gryphon and furry, taking a few steps forward to an empty spot. It was a little way from the other pair, but not far, and once there Emi promptly crouched down. Inhaling a long breath, Emi slid the small box down onto the floor - carefully removing the other items to place them next to the box. Just touch the items, right?
Suddenly when the moment arrived, Blanche was a little more hesitant than Emi had hoped. White paws slid backwards as the softly glowing beads inside their box came into view: She'd never seen anything glow apart from the laptop. Yet, deep inside, the curious side of her tugged at her very bones, pushing and pulling each static muscle into action.
Kala turned on the spot, what was going on? Both Blanche and Rawiya had been given something...but what we're they? Even with her long neck, the flamingo gryphon hadn't managed to spy what exactly was in the box. So, deciding to investigate, Kala padded over towards Emi and Blanche. Hooves clicked over the ground, skidding to a halt just like she had done on the first meeting of the spellweavers, Kala peered curiously at the beads from around one side of Emi's furry ankles.
So that's what they were. In truth, she'd hoped for something just a little more vibrant red, and sparkly. Well, they were sparkly...So why exactly wasn't Blanche touching them like Rawiya had bounded into her own pile?
"It's ok," Emi hushed, resting her arms over her knees. The cardboard box sat beside her side, and even as it did park itself there her tail swished nervously against it. Flicking her ears from her hairline, Emi finally managed to muster an encouraging smile, repeating her phrase for the anxious gryphon.
"Everything will be fine," She repeated. Was it for her own benefit? Who knew. Either way, the white Aerandir glanced up towards her guardian. Large golden eyes blinked, if Emi said they we're ok; then who to argue that point? Gradually, one white paw tripped before the other. Black and white speckled wings flickered, pressing both of her paws to the outside of the box.
It took a moment, but Blanche peered down at the beads. Something about them felt cold, right in a way. Leaning in, the tip of her black beak pressed up gently against a singular bead.

Alyosha watched as the pair took to their items, each in their very individual way. Rawiya's enthusiasm seemed to carry on into her transformation - her zebra striped and bright blue body spilled jubilantly into the transformation, whirling blue tendrils grasping out at each item as if hungrily devouring it into her form. Her front legs morphed into arms, hooves became hands and feet. A small mohawk sprouted on her head as her small face started to become humanoid - a tiny nose protruding out where a beak had once been. The colourful gryphon became a colourful child with her green headband now wrapped around her forhead.

Blanche's transformation, on the other hand, seemed like a wrench by comparison. It was as though the gryphon was wary or did not want this transformation to go ahead. Her beak, which had so gently touched the items, was the first thing to turn a soft, frosty white. The rest of her body followed, the black of her wings dissapearing into the glow. Something akin to an icicle seemed to be suspended in the air for a moment before the gryphon's form began to shift to something more humanoid.

Blanche became as whole as Rawiya, the two girls forming almost at one time. Even Aloysha, who had seen the spectacle of this transformation many times, was somewhat taken aback by this double-whammy. He grinned, leaning back against a handy chair and watched the faces of the owners. Sometimes they went through their own interesting transformations when seeing this.

At the touch of the items Rawiya felt a rush of excitement shoot through her body. Suddenly she wasn't sure what her body was doing and she felt light and warm like a fire was soaking in her blood. It felt so funny and yet...she really liked it! But then just as soon as it came it was gone. She had been so distracted she had barely noticed the changes...until now.
She blinked her golden eyes curiously, peering down as she lifted her front hooves-or what should have been hooves. Her forelimbs felt light now and she could easily lift them up before her face. She stared as she wriggled fingers that had never been there before. She then turned her head-wow, her neck must be a lot shorter!-to check and make sure she still had her tail. Yep, there it was! Wow she felt tall!
Ari squeeked in surprise, having to bring her hands to come up and cover her mouth. The change that happened before her eyes was amazing! She was used to magic and other such strange things but that didn't make it any less awe-inspiring. And boy was Rawiya a sight! She suddenly felt water in her eyes and she wasn't sure why. "Oh Wiya..." she murmured, feeling her throat close a little. She couldn't be more amazed if she wanted to!
Hu? Wiya tilted her head to see her mommy not far away. What was wrong with her? She looked kinda funny. With a small frown she decided to go investigate! She took a couple of steps without even thinking of what she was doing. Not used to having only two legs she stumbled and fell forward with a load THUNK! Oops.
Ari seemed to snap out of whatever kind of state she had been in as she rushed to aid the newly formed child. "O-oh! Careful, hun! Not so fast!" she murmured soothingly.

The changes hadn't been so instant for the other. A rush of invisible snow tendrils of Aerandir magic and lore soared over her beak, covering her head, body, fore paws and even her tail within that single moment of apprehension. The frosting took it's time, zapping each feather and fur particle to mould into one. It truly was a sight to behold, a magical rush spiraling, smirking, molding it's very way into Blanche. Her dark black tipped feathers were the last to disappear, folding back into that readily changing body.
Once the frosty white coloured appeared satisfied, a sparkling icicle danced around above. It twinkled under the light for just that brief moment, twirling its face around to send the white frosty Blanche below changing. Forearms became hands, paws elongated, her beak disappeared, and under a frenzy of Aerandir magic the items around her were readily devoured into this mix.
Then, as quickly as it had happened, the transformation ended. There, before Emi, sat a pristine white little girl. Her long hair was tucked back with the orange hair band, one ear held two small earrings, and in one hand she held those baubles. Except, they had merged with the ribbons held in one white furry hand.
Throughout it all, Emi had found herself leant back: metallic blue eyes as wide as the vast ocean that lapped up against the shore only a few meters away. Her ears had pinned right back to her head, long tail nervously lapsing around her paws. The woman hadn't ever seen a magic, and this sight gave her the best insight possible to a new creation. She barely made a word throughout all of it, eyes pinned to the forming child in front of her like a kids might have been to sweets in a corner shop.
Her mouth opened like a fish as it ended, finding herself at a loss for words. Just like Ari, water stung at the edge of her eyes, threatening to slip down her cheeks if she wasn't careful. Emi was just at a loss, her ears slowly drooping back from the sides of her head.
The little girl didn't make a sound, large golden eyes blinking slowly. Everything seemed so much larger now...Gradually, her fingers curled around the item held in her hand. Wait - FINGERS? Eyes wide, Blanche glanced behind her, her tail was still there, so were her wings.
Everything was so alien: so surreal almost. Golden eyes wide, the white Aerandir turned to her guardian, looking more like a deer in the headlights. She could see her better now, far better than she ever had done before. Extending her arms, Blanche twitched her ears as the sound of Rawiya toppling over on the other side of the room hit those furry astute appendages. Even that slight twitch was odd, the way her earrings clinked together upon that subtle moment.
Without a second, Emi snapped out of her state of awe, shuffling the last of the way to wrap her arms securely around the small child. Furry brown fingers enclosed the baffled Blanche close, a smile set right in stone on her face. "It's alright," Emi whispered, her first words to the Aerandir child since changing.
Blanche seemed to settle against her mother, her strange new fore arms extending to wrap back around Emi's waist. Her ears twitched again, now she was safe within Emi's grasp curiosity took over, large golden eyes glancing around the room from Kala and then up to the man leant up in the corner. It was only then that Blanche realized her beak had gone. Opening her mouth ever so slightly, the girl promptly shut it a moment later: she wouldn't be able to make any noises without a beak, right?
Kala, split between the two, had watched both of the bonded girls grow at the same time. But now they were all busy: they were all wrapped up. And Blanche was big! Horror, they couldn't do their circus tricks. Feeling rather bewildered that she hadn't grown at the same time as the other, the giraffe Aerandir bolted to the only person that wasn't wrapped up in a child: Alyosha.
Sinuous neck stretched out, she skidded to a halt before the man, pressing her black beak into his dark trouser leg. Her tail seemed to swish slightly, like a puppies might when their owner had just gone. What was going on? Maybe this man would be able to give her all the answers she needed.

((Erm, I'm not sure if the previous RP is still going.. it hasn't been active since last month, so I'm assuming it's safe to start a new one.))
"I have it! Be back later!" Pueblo called down to Fae. She quickly climbed the ladder to the roof before Fae had any other word, holding onto a paper in her mouth. Her ear twitched to a muffled shout, but her mind was already focus elsewhere. Her heavy paws pounded against the thatched roof as she ran across, then leaped off at the very end. The straw russtled and a few pieces floated to the ground silently.
Her wings were quick to catch the sea breeze, her hair and tail trailing behind her like streamers. Spitting the page out, Pueblo transfered it to her hand and flapped her mighty wings. "Okay...Ar'Idil...Ar'Idil...ohp!" Her green eyes widened when she saw the sand bank, remembering it well. "You've gotten sandier since I last saw you Mr. Sand-Bank," she said, smiling to herself. "At least you're not as long as the ocean," she murmured, looking ahead to Ar'Idil.
Pueblo kept herself entertained and by the time she reach the other island, she was rather surprised. "So now...I need to find this Lodge," she murmured to herself again, finding a spot to touch down. She folded her wings and was on her way. Spotting the largest building, she assumed it was their "Centre", which was what she needed.
Making her way to the building, she couldn't help but glance around. She hadn't come to know this island much, or it's inhabitants. Her ears lowered slightly and quickly slipped into the Lodge. Once inside, her eyes scanned around where the humans placed notices. Coming up to a board that had a small cluster of tacked papers, she looked around before pinning her page up.

Doris Merriweather was out for a walk, enjoying the fresh island air that she had been missing for the last two weeks. She had recently run out of sugar, and decided to head toward the Lodge to get replacements. She wanted to try a new recipe, but couldn't without at least three cups of sugar.
Tayte perched with bird-like grace on her shoulder, talons and paws delicately digging into her shoulder just enough to keep him upright. Ever since Doris had returned from her daughter's wedding that morning, he'd been watching her like a hawk, screeching in alarm if she even left the room without him.
Doris reached the Lodge and pulled the door open with the arm opposite the one Tayte had claimed. Cool air washed over her, and she breathed a sigh of relief. She hadn't realized how warm she had been getting from her walk. Tayte blinked delicately as his eyes adjusted to the darkness, shifting his position on Doris's shoulder.
Doris noticed a tall Aerandir that she thought she recognized, but not quite. She squinted, trying to recall, but the name of the Aerandir still evaded her. "Good day!" she chirped pleasantly. Tayte cocked his head and cheeped.

Pueblo jumped, the triumphant voice coming out of pure silence. The Aerandir wirrled around, finding herself looking down (though barely) at an older women. She squinted her eyes, trying to remember her. "Good day to both of you too," she slowly replied, turning her focus to the Aerandir on the women's shoulder. "I was just pining this notice up, I hope that's okay?" The girl stepped to the side, allowing the women to read it if she wanted.
As she stepped to the side, however, something in her mind clicked. "We've met before," she softly spoke, smiling now that the tension was gone. "You're Dorris and Tayte, no?" Her tail swished a little behind her, the land bridge event re-playing in her mind.

The Aerandir stepped aside, and Doris pulled out her reading glasses and skimmed through the notice, her already bright face becoming radiant. "Oh, a quest! How delightful!" she cried happily, startling the griffin perched on her shoulder. Tayte rustled his wings and chirped condescendingly.
When the Aerandir identified them, she turned to her and beamed. "Why yes we are!" She squinted, but the identity of the Aerandir still evaded her. Tayte cocked his head at teh mention of his name and peeped inquiringly.

Pueblo nodded and grinned. "Yes, I'm very excited. My little brother is growing up," she said proudly. "But," her voice dropped a note, "We haven't gathered even one item yet. I'm afraid, at this rate, it will take time when time I'm not sure we have." The young Aerandir's ears drooped and looked sadly to the list.
"I guess I should be going then," she started, but didn't move. It was rude to start moving before the other person had time to respond. She watched Tayte on Dorris' shoulder for a moment in curiosity. He seemed shyer than other gryphons she'd encounter. Usually, they were eager to meet new people, but him, he stayed perched upon his guardian's shoulder, almost territoraly. She scowled.

"How exciting for you!" Doris gushed enthusiastically. Her smile faded as the Aerandir explained how few of the items they had found. "Well, maybe I can help." She volunteered after the Aerandir had voiced that she ought to go. "What can I give you?"
Tayte, still perched regally on his Doris's shoulder, shifted uncomfortably as the Aerandir scowled at him. He ruffled his feathers a bit. After a moment of fidgeting, he stood, stretching his delicate limbs, walked across the back of Doris's neck, and sat on the opposite shoulder. Maybe she'd stop staring at him, now. He dug his talons into her shirt in order to stay on, poking matching holes in both sleeves.

Pueblo smirked at Tayte before looking back to the human. "Oh! That would be most grateful," Pueblo said, dipping her chin like a small bow. "Well," the Aerandir started, looking at the list. She glanced back at Tayte, exaimining his brightly colored wings, and pondered for a moment. There was something sly about her stare before she looked back to Dorris.
"Actually, blue is Zanzibar's favorite color- if Tayte wouldn't mind giving up one of his feathers, that'd mark one thing off," she begun. "We could also use any extra beads you may have lying around, or a small leaf of any kind?" The Aerandir looked hopeful, clasping her hands losely together. Her wings flared a little behind her, starting to relax now. Maybe this quest wouldn't take as long as she thought?

"Oh, I'm sure he wouldn't mind!" Doris chirped naiively, turning and unceremoniously plucking a choice feather from her gryphon's wings. Tayte squawked in alarm and leapt from Doris's shoulder onto a nearby table, scolding her with hisses, yowls, and chuckles, the most vocal he;d been in weeks. Doris put her hands on her hips. "Well, now, young man!" she admonished. "It was loose, anyway! You've been fussing with it all day." Tayte yowled pitifully before running his beak through his beautiful wings, straightening them out as though he were licking his wounds. Shaking her head in amused exasperation, Doris turned back to the Aerandir and held out the beautiful blue feather. "There you go. I do wish you good luck on the remainder of your quest! I'm pretty sure I have some beads at home, if you'd like those as well." She offered in a friendly manner.

Pueblo cupped her hand over her mouth, her brows raising as the gryphon suddenly leaped. Grinning sheepishly, she twirled the beautiful feather between her fingers, the blue changing different shades in a shimmer. She was lost in inspiration, but it would have to wait.
"Oh thank you so much! Fae and Zen will be so pleased," she grinned. The Aerandir then walked over to Tayte and kneeled. "Don't worry, you're still handsome," she giggled. "I hope you're not mad at me," she frowned, sticking her lower lip out at him.
"If it's not too much trouble," Pueblo repsonded to Dorris' offer. There was something about this elderly lady she liked. And with that decided, Pueblo added, "Unless you have other plans, I'm sure Fae would understand if I was a little later."
