I'm keeping myself occupied so that I don't have to think about it. But whenever I stop even the slightest this huge....wave of sadness overwhelms me... I keep his collar close, it comforts me. Blagh my eyes hurt so much from weeping.

There was a saying in Old Tibet: "Everyone dies, but no one is dead."
Though, I suspect you already knew that. I'm glad that you're still with us, talking to us, and taking care of yourself by keeping yourself distracted. I still have the cat collar that we used to put on my dog when he was a puppy, and too small for regular dog collars. It's in a drawer, safe and secret. heart

We went shopping today. I only went because they wanted my company. I think I ruined the trip because I was so depressed. And then I saw this dachshund calender and it was there I just...died. It seems dachshunds are just blooming up everywhere now. I'm hoping sooner or later I can just think about him and not cry so much. It's getting hard. I carry his collar everywhere with me. And the little tags on it clank together, it makes everyone think he's still here. I know he is, just not physically.

After pouting and crying for so long I've gotten to the point where I tell myself "Donatello doesn't want you to be upset, he wants you to be happy."
My dad offered buying me a new dog, and so we're gonna get another weiner dog this weekend from what I know.
I'm thinking either Shredder or naming him after a type of video game name. It all depends on his first appearance and how he reacts to me.
Blah I'm so excited, to me its like my dog reincarnated. *happy now*

We might get the puppy tomorrow. We bought a kennel and collar and everything. And there are two dogs left, a boy and a girl. Depending on their looks I'll pick one, but I'm leaning towards the boy side. I've picked out more names, we'll just have to wait and see. also, I'm going driving tomorrow at 4 here and that's going to be pretty fun, especially since last time I drove with my partner it was so crazy and hilarious.

Sorry about your old dog.
Good luck with your new dog.
About a week or two ago my great grandmother died. I used the funeral to get out of school. I don't get invested in people and animals much. So, when something dies it's no problem.
It's just the way I think on things. I don't get invested in things that are trivial at best. Like arguments. The woman gets upset because after we argue I'm ready to make jokes with her. I don't get angry, becuase I certinly don't care enough about an argument to get worked up. Same thing with people and pets.
And now I'm rambling.

IY_and_MCR "I'm not being distant, I just value temperance" xd That's awesome. "Temperance" is one of those words that I think of in a "I wish I had an opportunity to use that in an every-day sort of context" way.

I HAVE A PUPPY AND HE'S IN MY LAP SLEEPING RIGHT NOW! =DDDD And I took pictures but I have yet to upload them and get them on photobucket ^^; BUT ANYWAYS his name is Inspector Dyme and he's a mini-dachshund red dappled. And he has cool brown toenails. And also he has Hazel eyes, they're so pretty. I think he may suffer from anxiety since his sister is no longer with him, but hopefully I can make up for that loss. He likes chewing and biting everything, and also sleeping. He sleeps in his kennel, but sometimes he cries when he's in there. He also likes to eat. And that means he pees and poops a lot X__X And when he poops its like, HIDEOUS smelling. I blame the Puppy Chow. I'm supposed to give him a bath, but I don't really wanna without some supervision *lol nervous* =D
