Mizuki rushed, having ceom from the beach. She felt bad for leaving Austin there, but she needed to get ready for her testing. From what she had seen and heard, all that she could conclude was that it would be different from any other test she had ever taken before. Looking around the Courtyard she saw that students were still playing around with their abilities, and that she would have to either go around them or be wary of being in line of fire. Anyway, it wasn't like she could play with her powers here; she didn't want to hurt anybody. Mizuki continued to walk, deciding to go around the group of students until she saw a new face, a boy sitting on a tree. Nodding to him in acknowledgement she did nothing more and continued on her way, knowing that she didn't have much time to socialize anyway and that maybe she will see him again.

Ryuu continued to look at his hands for a second longer, then he saw a student nod at him... wasn't that something guys did to acknowledge each other? At least, back on the farm, thats what he and a few other farm hands did... and one or two kids at his school prior. Caught in thought, his eyes trailed her until a students incoherient voice reached his ears. When he turned his head to see a fireball rocketing towards him he quickly threw himself to the side.
However, saving his skin from the fireball didn't make up for the lack of a solid surface to where he threw himself towards. At that moment in time, he knew gravity wasn't always his friend as he stopped rather uprubtly at the base of the tree. "I ain't seen fire ever get that close to my face befo'." He muttered, getting himself off the grass. He looked around and noticed that the girl had disappeared from his sight. Maybe he'd run into her if he went to look around the school more.

Getting no response from the book keeper, Ari removed herself from the fountain and crossed the grassy lawn to the path. The lush blades tickled her sensitive toes, causing Ari to grin slightly, an unusual thing for her to do. She had no idea where to go or what to do. If she traversed too far from the water she could be in serious trouble, however she felt a need to venture into the undiscovered parts of Tenshi. She faced a dilemma. The water was her life and without it she could die, but a small piece of her craved death. After all, she was meant to die years ago. Had it not been for that cursed Drenched Stone, the very one that hung about her neck, Ari would be with her people, whoever they were... In her thinking, Ari reached to her necklace and clasp the stone. It was cool to her touch, but then everything was cold to her. She closed her eyes. Images flashed, but they were too quick to make anything of. The only one that stood out was the brief image of a wolf man and his outstretched hand extended in what seemed to be Ari's direction. She reopened her eyes and continued to think. "Left or right?"

A chilly breeze whips through the trees, sending autumn colored leaves across the courtyard. As the leaves settle you notice a small candy with a yellow wrapper resting on one of the benches by the fountain. __________________________________

As the wind tousled Ari's hair, she had a sense that she needed to turn around and in doing so noticed something yellow resting on a bench. Silently she meandered over to it and lifted it with her delicate pale hands. 'How odd...' She'd never seen something like this before. Quickly she gazed around the courtyard, searching for the owner of the small yellow thing that contained something or other. 'Was it the book keeper's?' She was utterly puzzled and quite curious as to what it had inside.
