Sheba quickly became disorientated after leaving the library; however, this was not unexpected since she had never fully explored the grounds after being dumped out of the hole into a bush. How she had even managed to recollect her wits and enter the school building was beyond her, the fact that Cyrus had been able to send a letter to her that quickly was even more surprising. She smelled the air, it was sweet here. Her hair fluttered about her shoulders playfully in the wind as it broke loose from its wrappings. She looked around, her eye sight was never the best her brother's called it her stupidity not to be able to see something right there. She sighed. Her brothers.... "Hello..?" She called out, holding her books in one arm.

Sheba looked around once more, perhaps she had been mistaken? She had thought someone was here, she must've been wrong... Shifting the books in her arms she began to wander, she needed to find that bush. Being foolish as she was, she never should've left her bag there while she wandered. What did it look like again? She'd know when she saw it. (exits)

Groaning softly a young silver haired man ran his free hand through his long hair as he looked around. He was finally at the school, he didn’t waste any time getting there, save for a small pit stop along the way where he cleaned up and “acquired” some new clothes. Smiling softly he adjusted the large black duffle bag and shook his head sending his long beautiful hair in a wave, the light catching it just right, casting a bright and beautiful charade of glimmering light upon it. “Looks like I’m home...” He said softly as he moved past the iron gates and stepped into the school grounds.
Upon stepping foot on the school grounds the young silver haired man stopped and looked around, his gaze locked on nothing in particular, everything was equally beautiful so he found it hard to focus on just one object. A long low whistle came from him as he looked around and rubbed his eyes. Truly this place was too good to be true. “Ok, I must have died and gone to heaven on the trip here, it has to be some sort of dream.” He said as he slapped himself softly making sure it wasn’t a dream. His stomach softly growled as he kept walking, looking at his other hand which had a map in it he plotted his course towards the dining hall, hopefully he’d be able to get some food there.

May looked up as she stopped walking, her winter coat kept her warm even though the air around her was chilly. She fixed her hat as her ears felt the cold air from the blowing wind. 'Why am I out here?' She shivered as her feet seemed to freeze. 'It's too cold!' She wined in her head as she shivered more and more. Her eyes scanned the area to watch the other people enjoying the weather. 'How can they like this weather?' She rubbed her arm as it still had a sting from when it got hurt. A sigh escaped her mouth as she started to walk again.
A gust came knocking May's hat off her head. "No! Come back here!" She said as she started to chase it. 'I told mother it was to big, but no. No one listens to me.' She frowned deeply as she chased after the hat. "Dang it." She stopped as it landed in a tree. "Aw." 'This is not my day.' She opened her bag and starts call her broom. "Broom. Broom please come out." She looked in seeing if she could spot the disobedient broom. Her right eye started to twitch. "Fine. Next time I see you. That spell I put on you will be gone." She hissed before she shut her bag.
May walked to the base of tree and began to climb up. She could have used her magic, but she was just to cold to use it. She reached the branch it was caught on and started to belly crawl to the caught hat. May reached out and grabbed the hat. A happy sigh escaped her mouth as she backed up. 'Okay... now how in hell will I get down?' She thought as she sat her self up.

May thought a bit before she started to climb down. She had a hard time which caused her to fall to the ground. "Ow..." She quickly stood up and rubbed her butt. 'That hurts.' She wined as she started to leave the area quickly wanting to get away from the cold. Also she wanted to find a placed with more people.

A soft almost musical laughter was heard in the forest just a little near the small dirty blonde haired child. “Child, you really should keep hold of your things. Tis dangerous to wander the forest alone, or haven’t you heard the legends?” A voice almost as magical and soft as the laughter spoke, now it came from in front of May instead of behind and to the left of her. “I would not enjoy having to carry your half dead body back to the school; it would truly be depressing for that to happen on my first day.”

May frowned when she heard the laughed and stopped in her tracks. The she laughed back mockingly. "I know." She crossed her arms and shook her head. "I know and I don't care." She said almost hissing her words. She felt was being made fun off. "I'm not so weak." She growled. 'First day?' She thought. "So your the new student. How's your first day been going so far." She asked calmly.

Slowly a silver haired figure emerged from the shadows. His long silver hair brushed back, save for two small braided strands on the sides which attached at the back by a rather fancy pin. “Tis been good child, for I see you are indeed a child. How old are you and what is thy name?” He asked softly, as he crossed his arms over his chest, the fine soft blue shirt he was wearing creasing slightly as he did.

May sighed as she watched the figure appear. She then shivered from the cold. 'Pretty boy.' She frowned deeply. 'Go figure.' She thought as she relaxed herself. "I only appear to be, sir." She stood tall. "Only if you tell me yours, Pretty Boy." She said as her face held a serious look. She wasn't about to be taken for a child. No not after all the trouble she went through to get where she is now. "It would only be fair sense you approached me first." May stated.

Laughing softly Orthae dipped into a bow, his arms sweeping wide as he did. “My name, is Orthae my age is, for what it matters, I am older than you appear to be.” Smiling softly he looked up at May and winked. “As for the child remark,” He spoke softly standing up slowly dusting himself off as he did. “I meant no disrespect, I am sure you did quite well getting here. I simply meant that you are still young are you not?”
Raising an eyebrow Orthae brought his arms around himself again, he’d heard something but he didn’t want to appear nervous, after all, why should he be? He was a noble, and he was an expert in his fields, he had nothing to fear. “I am truly sorry if I offended you young one. Truly I am.” Smiling he sighed his fingers already slowly working the delicate designs needed to summon Terror, his demon dog. “Pretty boy huh? I’ve not heard that one before, am I truly pretty?” He remarked pretending he was not vain in the least.

May blinked and shook her head. "Nice to meet you Orthea. I am Myia or May. You may call me May though and only May. My age is 14." She told him. She listened to him and sighed. "I believe so, but only in age." May remarked. Her head tilted to the side as she smirked. She crossed her arms. "On top of that the clothing I have makes me look younger." She let her arms rest back at her side.
"It is okay. I have had worse said and done to me." May said. She kept her eyes on him. She gave him a look that said. 'You got to be kidding me right?' She looked to her left side then back at Orthea. "Yes you truly are." She stuck out her tongue. "But that should expected considering your color of your hair and eyes." She laughed. May froze as her bag opened and her broom came flying out. "Now you come out!" She hissed at her broom. "And plus when did you start thinking for yourself?!" The broom got between May and Orthea. "Oh brother."

Laughing softly Orthae looked from the broom back at May. “Having problems controlling your implements milady?” He said as he moved towards her, his arms shot out as he did his fingers already finishing the motions needed to summon Terror. “May, if you would, I’d advise you to stay behind me. I would not enjoy having a beautiful – but dead – child with me.”
As he spoke a large black dog appeared beside him. Two bone horns protruded from the creatures head, just above its ears. Razor sharp teeth filled its mouth, as drool began to pour from it. A set of boney spines ran halfway down its back, all the spines fanning backwards. A deep throaty growl came from the dog as it looked around clearly it was on alert.
“You sense it too don’t you Terror?” The silver haired elf asked as he looked down at his dog. “It is near, but, I can’t quite seem to place it. Oh blast it all!” He exclaimed as he looked back at the girl and smiled. “Stay with me and all will be fine, I can assure you, nothing bad will happen on my watch.” As he spoke he thought he heard movement nearby, but, he couldn’t be sure if it was forest life or the thing that stalked them.

May put her head and didn't reply. Her right eye twitched when she looked back up. "Really?" She looked at the dog that had appeared. All of a sudden her eyes lit up. She clasped her hands together. "Amazing. Male or female?" She was in aw. She still had yet to reach such potential, but she was getting close to it. Her eyes quickly scanned the dog. "Terror." She said the name and just smiled wildly. Then she turned to Orthea. "Seriously. I'm not so weak... just physically." She sighed. Then her thoughts turned to Cerberus. 'Hm. I haven't summoned him in a long time. Next time I have a test I'll summon him.' She calmed herself.

“I am not saying you are weak or not I am simply saying I will protect you.” As he spoke he glanced around and sighed. “The school is just back that way,” He said as he pointed behind both himself and May. “I suggest we hurry, alright? I’d prefer no fighting if possible.” Kneeling down he touched Terror’s head softly. “Boy, protect us as we go alright? Just like always, don’t let the girl get hurt.” Standing back up he smiled and extended his hand towards May. “So, you ready to get out of here?”
Barking loudly Terror bolted off into the forest in a slow circle around both Orthae and May. The demon dog knew its job, after all Orthae and he had played this situation countless times in different places. Should the prey get to close Terror would try to kill it, if he failed he’d alert Orthae who would resort to his necromancy in hopes of killing whatever it was that was attacking. Their tactics had always worked before, so why wouldn’t they now.

May thought before she replied. "Fine, protect me." This felt odd to her. No one would protect her they would rather just leave her alone. She looked at her broom. "Back in the bag." She opened her bag and for once the broom obeyed. She moved close to Orthea. "Yes." She sighed and kept up with him. "Now will you tell me your exact age?" She asked looking strait ahead.
