(-snorts and chuckles-)
Coming to with a small jerk of his body he rose, shifting a bit before glancing back to Taraju and Amari, tail flicked at he let himself go back over, slowly. Hopefully Amari hadn't noticed.. though that was probably too much to hope for. He sniffed the air a moment, eyes flicking around. There was a farmillur sent in the air, but he couldn't place it. What a little sneek Binti was. ninja

((*dies laughing* fufufu...sneaky little binti. xDDDDDDDD. *amused*))
Binti yawned, stretching slowly, carefully...unwilling to make herself known...at least, not yet. Rolling back over onto her belly, she wondered why she didn't just head back to follow Us'kali, wherever the old lioness was going. But, if she did that, she couldn't watch what was going on below--oh, the curiosity of a cat.
Shujaa crept a bit closer, wincing as he stepped on a dry, dead twig. The sharp crack split the air, or at least it seemed so to him...and to Binti, apparently, as well, as she turned around to snarl at him. Hunching his shoulders slightly, he froze, eyes on the lions below. Had he given away their position? If so, he had a feeling Binti was going to take a strip out've his hide later...he hadn't made a mistake like that one since he'd been a mere cub!

In the momentary silence the snapped twig rang out like a bell. Asi's ears went rigid, alert, eyes jerking right to the spot where Binti and her companion were. It was hard to tell that some one was there though. He stood, paws moving him foward. "Aye therr show yer self.." He growled slightly, footing cautious.

Crap. Binti thought, lips pulling back in a silent snarl before she squared her shoulders, almost imperceptibly, and made herself visible, stalking gracefully into view. "Took you long enough to realize someone was about." she said smoothly, covering up her slight twinge of embarrassment at being caught watching them...although for all they knew, she'd just wandered this way now.
Shujaa followed behind Binti, his posture slightly defensive, with his tail held out almost straight behind him. Although he made no outwardly threatening movement, his eyes never strayed from the one who'd called them out.

Asi shifted and frowned; that wasn't fair! He'd felt their eyes on him long before he had proof they were there! His gaze looked over Shujaa curiously, head tilting. "Aye maybe sos but a'leat I did no be the one spyin' fer no good reason.." He slowed and halted in his steps, watching her come foward. He'd met her once before. Briefly.

A small juvenile lioness moved close to the ground, her sapphire eyes watching as she spotted Asikari. She smiled to herself, then she noticced someone that she didnt know... Hmm... she felt a shy wave fall over her and she pulled herself up with a grin and approached them. "H-hello" She said, adressing the unknown lioness and Asi.

Binti smiled coldly at Asi. "Spying? Is that what we call a little...neighborly curiosity now?" she said smoothly, although her eyelid twitched once, a sign of her embarrassment. Caught. Damn. the thought tumbled unwanted through her mind. When another juvenile lioness made herself known, Binti tilted her head to the side, measuring her with her gaze. "Hello yourself." she said, her voice even....it was about as polite as she got, with those she didn't know.
His actions mirroring those of Binti, Shujaa tilted his head slightly to the side, his gaze flickering from Asi to the new lioness. Bowing his head slightly, he murmured a greeting at the newcomer, sympathizing with her shyness.

That got a chuckle from Asi for a moment. Curiousity, eh? "Well best yer do no forget tha' curiousity gets yeh killed, mm?" He galnced to the lioness a moments, thinking on who it was. Ah Amari's girl, hmm? He nodded his head slightly. "Ello." He murmered. His gaze flicked around again, and he sat, tail flicking slowly back and forth. A sign of annoyance.. or was he just hoping to keep bugs away?

She bowed her head politely, her eyes flickering over the three, her curiousity blossoming a little as she noticed the jackal and the jewellry that the pair worn. She herself was adored with a silver ear cuff and a blue wooden braclet that was the same shade as her enticing eyes. She smiled as she looked back to Asi, she hadnt seen him in a while. She noted the tail, and wondered whether Asi was peeved or something. Tilting her head only slightly but not obviously, she found herself searching for conversation...

Laughing mockingly, Binti tossed her head, her turquoise eyes fixing on Asi. "Only to those who can't defend themselves." she purred, although her eyes narrowed slightly.
Determinedly turning to face the other lioness, her eyes raked over her, noting her coloring, and the jewelry that she wore. "I'm Binti." she said, sitting back on her haunches and eyeing the other lioness curiously. "And this is Shujaa." she continued, motioning with her forepaw at the jackal.
Realizing that Binti wasn't going to start a fight, at least not immediately, Shujaa relaxed, slightly, and nodded at the other lioness when Binti introduced him.

Asi scoffed a moment, rolling his eyes. He shifted a bit, gaze flicking over both females again, dismissing Shujaa. Where were all these idiotic lions getting this jewlery? He frowned in disapproval; not that his opinion made a difference.

Shujaa lay down, careful to keep close to Binti--he didn't trust the young lion...probably because Binti radiated vague irritation at him, and she was the one who had apparently met him before.
Yawning in blatant disregard of Asi's disapproving frown, Binti's powerful canines flashed in the sunlight.

Sighing softly in the silence that insued, Ama continued forward, ever vigilant to the landscape around him. That scent... had to be near. It just had to be.. For a few moments, the large lion continued in his current path, but then he hesitated. The scent of water went off towards the left. Yet the familiar scent of his mother went off towards his right. Which way did he go now? Without water, he'd surely perish, but his mother... smelled so close.. A soft whine escaped his throat, a strange sound coming from the feline. His heart was torn between between life, and possibly finding the remnants of his family. If he went for water, then came back, the scent trail might have faded by then... But if he went after his mother, there was no telling how long they'd travel, without another sight or smell of water, before they found the source of the smell...
Looking back behind him at Ina'li, the hunter looked for guidance in what to do.

As 'kali crested a small rise, a low...whine? hit her ears. Her head shot up, aged eyes scanning the savannah before her. That sounded like...Ama--but it can't be! she thought to herself, paws hitting the dirt with increased frequency as she moved in the direction of the sound, emitting one low, rumbling noise to see if it got her the response she almost didn't think could happen.
