Mirror listened in close and upon the said words he released a loud sigh of defeat. Too loud, for he felt people's attention glance at him and he quickly covered his mouth with one hand. Well, who could blame him? They spent at least two days running about all of Gaia without eating and without sleeping to be chatisized by Vincent and then asked to go back to 'Go' to collect another sign from the Overlord. It's not like Mirror wasn't ready to accept the task, it was just...Well, rather disappointing. However, it was their fault for thinking so highly. But then again, what else could they do?
Twitching a wing and watching as Akiya stood up to check out Saevam, Mirror added softly, "You really don't look yourself from when we last saw you." But then again, neither was anyone else in the room.
Mirror? Indecisive? No...

"Thank you," Odilen said politely, bowing her head respectfully to Saevem. "We appreciate it. She spoke once using a familiar... a moogle..." She wondered briefly if they'd have to find that creature again as well. Who had it gone home with? Maybe Artemecion would know, or Stiltzkin - the two busybody mogs tended to concern themselves with knowing everyone's business.
The bard also made a mental note to look and see, when they returned to the tavern, if Saevem really was listed in the phone book.

"I am fine Akiya." Saevem smiled warmly at his concern and gently caught his hands in hers, "I am not as weak as I might seem." She pointed out before shaking her head and lowering his hands to her lap, it seemed that they had endured quite an arduous (if not tedious) task in attempting to find her and for that she was sorry.
"I simply have a few things on my mind." She explained and released a small chuckle, "When something serious happens I tend to frown, it doesn't mean I'm sick." She reassured him before clearing her throat and patting at his hands once more.
"I think you should all get some rest, you look shattered!" She announced and canted her head to the side.
As for whether she was in the phone book or not...Odilen would find that she was.

An annoyed microexpression briefly crossed her face as she listened to Saevem. All this running around when they could have just called! Oh well, at least it had given them something to do, even if it had all been for naught.
Quinn smiled at Shyam, running a finger down his nose, "Of course! Sorry I was so grumpy... I hate not knowing what's going on!"

A look of relief showed when she said she was all right and he nodded, giving her tiny hands a soft squeeze. "I wasn't assuming you were... but concern is never out of place. Even if Koni was here, he would have prodded me to ask the same." They had taken a rather long time to try to find her and he was damn tired. Now that they had to go back was rather an irking thought but there was nothing else to be done about it, he supposed.
"Perhaps so.. but sometimes, a frown can mean both..." Smiling faintly and nodding, he made to gently stand up again. "I'm going to head back to the Tavern... I'm already going to have to listen to how I'm the worst consort in the history of consorts lecture for awhile. The longer i prolong it, the worse it'll get." Though his lips twitched a bit since the thought rather amused him more than anything else.

Mirror looked up to Akiya and then he leveled his tired gaze to Saevam. (Well actually, she was...sort of at his height so...) Knitting his brows he agreed with his large friend, "I believe I need to return to the tavern as well. I left my familiars there and they both don't get along too well with one another so worry has been eating away at my mind. I'll stay here for perhaps an hour to regain my strength before I start flying back or I'll leave whenever Akiya leaves. I don't want to travel by myself over the..." Mirror gulped, "...Water."
The Al Sylian was relieved to find that Saevam was alright and next time they needed to get to her, they'd know to first...Look in the phonebook. Besides, he was curious to get back to the tavern and await for the Overlord's next message. It intrigued him greatly and he had a burning desire to figure out what was going on. It might give him a chance to redeem himself for crimes long since past. Mirror gave a nod and yawned softly, covering his mouth politely with one hand and then stretching his arms and wings far into the air.

((*Blinku* A phonebook... there are phones in this world! Wow, I didn't know there was such technology.... duh!.... I feel stupid for not catching that it was more modern than I had at first suspected...))
"Thanks Quinny! I can totally understand since we all seem to be lost and bewildered. But we'll get it together.
"If none of you mind, I'd like to return to the Tavern with you, since I'm curious to learn more... and I was hoping to find Trel there again...." The rogue hoped his friend had fared well in the storm.

"Sounds like lectures from the conclave." Saevem replied with a smile as she rose to her feet and padded towards the door where they had come in, it was still a little open on the latch and it was only after a few moments that she realised that it was beginning to rain rather heavily across the city as though the weather from Gambino had finally reached them.
"I would suggest hurrying though, or you will find yourself even more wet than you ever thought possible." She cooed teasingly and released a chuckle at the concept of them being even more drowned and sullen than they already were, "That and it is beginning to get dark once more - terribly odd weather these days." She mused.

"Oh goody... rain." Shyam wrapped his cloak tighter around himself, pulling the hood of his cloak over his head. "Well, I'm was as water-proofed as I'm going to get," he thought to himself.
"Thank you for your help Vincent, and yours as well, Lady Saevam." He nodded politely to both. "I appreciate your hospitality and also your advice." With that, he stepped closer to the door. "We have a long journey back to the Tavern. Shall we everyone?"

"Thank you, Lady Saevem," Odilen said, stifling a yawn, then scowling a bit as she realized their old friend the rain had come to visit. Again. Twice-drenched by the same storm...
"I think I'll return to my wagon, actually. It's on this side of the water, and I have... things I need to tend to." Like making sure Mogki and Flamme hadn't killed the baby, for one thing, she realized, cringing. Ugh. She really shouldn't have gone away for so long, even if the child did seem oddly capable for such a little thing. "I will try to reconvene with the rest of you after I have a nap and do that, provided things clear." And this time, she'd bring the child across to the Tavern and find her a proper baby-sitter, besides the familiars.
Spark hissed as he was poked away from the fire.

Quinn hitched her cloak, scooped Llyan up and deposited her around her neck where the Coeurl could hide inside her deep hood, waved a bit of thanks and made her way out the door, mounting Therin.
She whispered orders in the beasts ear and he was off. She checked back over her shoulder often, hoping that Junkan had faired ok on his own.

Shyam stepped out into the rain and stared agape at Quinny as she took off on Therin.... alone.
"Well, so much for your agreeing to explain things to me on the way back to the Tavern," he grumbled under his breath.
Heaving a great sigh, he walked over to the Blue Chocobo who had been serving him well this day. Before untying his wrap from the post where he was hitched, the rogue dug out a large patch of Ghysal greens from his pack and fed them to the chocobo.
He tried really hard not to let his mood match that of the rain around him, but it was getting harder. Shyam dropped his head, so no one could see the pain that he knew must be on his face.
He was trying to befriend new people, but from Vincent to Quinny, he just kept getting snubbed. He couldn't blame Odilen for being exhausted. Actually, he encouraged her to take care of herself and her family. Everyone else in the group was running themselves ragged... but for what? That's all he wanted to understand. Was any of this even worse wasting any more time over?
"I'll still go to the Tavern," he decided internally. "If nothing else, than to see Trelweny since she always made him smile." He fed the chocobo the last of the green and then mounted behind its wings. With one last look back at Saevam's house, and the others filing out, he put on his best "smile mask", waved at them, and then took off in the direction of the Turtle's Paradise.

((Caneton: Quinn did not mean to snub you... she's moving quite slowly, actually, so you could catch up easily. She just remembered Junkan when she got outside and became preoccupied with that... her brain can only concentrate on one thing at a time usually n_n
If you catch her up, she will be quite amiable to you and will explain what she can. Sorry for the confusion!))

Odilen nodded again to Saevem and Vincent before stepping out into the rain and trying to orient herself. Okay, if the clock tower was there... then the direction of her wagon was... here...
"See you all at the tavern in... a few hours," she called to the others, waving with one winged arm before turning.
Spark groused and sulked under her skirts. Boco hrumphed and grumbled on her head.
"Knock it off," Odilen sighed, stifling a yawn as she drew her cloak tightly around herself and began to walk. Hopefully the blue chocobo would still be there.

((OKay.))
His head down, he didn't notice that his chocobo was racing to get to his destination and out of the rain. As they were speeding along, Shyam suddenly noticed that Quinny was ahead of them, slowing her doggy-like creature and looking around her. The rogue reigned in his mount near hers.
"Are you alright? Did you lose something, Quinny?"
