Chloe spent much of the next few days hanging around Dewford, getting to know her new partners. Entreri did little to warm up to the others, and often spent most of his time trying to get away from the rest of Chloe's Pokemon. Much to Saku's amusement, of course.
The next day found Chloe on the beach yet again, hooking up her rod and reel yet again, apparently haven't learned anything from her previous encounters with the large fish that a Super Rod could hook. Always up for a challenge, and a bit of fun, Chloe dipped the line into the water a few minutes later, letting her party out for a bit longer vacation as she waited, watching the cork bob on the water's surface.

As Chloe continued to watch the cork on the water, she started to doze off, but was awoken a short time later by Cael, who had taken up watch, much like the day before, just in case the trouble-seeking girl ran into another fish she couldn't land.
Chloe grinned, "Thanks, buddy," she offered, before stretching, watching her other Pokemon for a bit as she waited for a bite.

While the Dragonite stood watch next to Chloe, Mikami had taken to the skies, tormenting the Wingull in their native habitat this time. Daimon was chasing the waves, thoroughly enjoying the extended vacation as he enjoyed the water to the fullest. Saku and Alkaid were still playing on the beach, seeing what they could find in the sands, as Entreri, as always, sat alone, scowling slightly at the sun as if it was the cause of his problems.

As Chloe watched, a few fishing boats passed by, along with a few trainers, surfing on their Pokemon to cross the sea between towns. Dewford really was a secluded place, she realized. It would be nice to live in a place like this, she mused. A small house by the sea, she laughed. It did indeed look like a nice place to visit and take a vacation on, however she didn't really think she wanted to live in a place like this.
