Hmmm, well I think he was into Barret.... I mean you can take Barret out on a date when you go to the Gold Saucer.
Nah, just playin with you. I would say it was Aeris, even though there is the whole shpeel between Cloud and Tifa being from the same town and this and that. It is quite apparent during the "burial" of Aeris that he liked her deeply.

ya- deff not aries, but aeris... Tifa was more like a young love/little sister to Cloud, but Aeris was Zak's GF! Cloud is part of Zak... not only that, but I think he fell for Aeris on their first meeting in Midgar... it just never had the chance to blossom... *sigh*

But seriously, Cloud probably liked Aerith more when she was ALIVE. But now that shes dead well, it's obviously Tifa. I mean, he's not gonna date a dead girl!

All you Aeris fans are brutal! I say Tifa. I beg to differ when someone said that Tifa would have been bad for Cloud. There were things Tifa had and could do that Aeris couldn't like the lifestream event. If you read the "Maiden of the Planet" or something like that, it shows Aeris in the lifestream, trying to help out Cloud. Zack is there too and along with Aeris, they see Cloud and Tifa fall into the lifestream. Aeris says, "What can we do?" Zack says, "The only one who can help him is his childhood friend" So Tifa helped and everything was okay. I must also mention that Aeris let Cloud go. "I'm a little jealous, but take care of him." In "Case of Tifa", it shows Cloud and Tifa's relationship blossom. (These books are before FFVII: AC) They both live together and try to start a family with Marlene and Denzel, but once he was reminded of Aeris' death, he became guilty. Soon, he found out he had Geostigma and left. In the movie, Cloud asked for Aeris' forgiveness.

FOr me its tifa and cloud tifa was always there by the side of cloud when he needed help but areith just keep on flirting with him when she knew that tifa and cloud are close cant she just stay with one man i mean errmmm she has zack already good thing she died meep at least shes back to zack~

it's always been tifa. when she and cloud were in the lifestream together, he admitted his true feelings for her. the reason why he wanted to join SOLDIER was her. he wanted her to notice him. now the only reason why he liked aeris was the zack part of him. aeris already knew that tifa and cloud had something going on.

it has always been tifa who cloud liked, not aeris. aeris was attracted to him maybe because of his resemblence to zack and vice-versa.
