If nobody noticed, he wasn't taking it as kindness, but defiance, something else he wouldn't tolerate, especially not in his own home. His right eye twitched slightly as he replaced his glove, he considered introducing Vince to the easiest way to get rid of pain, a nice steaming hot order of death on a stick. But he calmed slightly and made a "pfft" sound as he turned back to Kalie.

For a brief moment Vince shook his head, letting the link between Torment and Vince flow both ways, rather than just Vince's way, allowing the searing pain to be broadcast throughout Torment's body for half a second, before it was sealed again, Vince yawning. "Like I said, I'm just being nice."

Torment didn't make any reply, he was mostly fed up with Vince at the moment. It was supposed to be his day off from dealing with the s**t of the world, not Let's Pile it On Day. It didn't matter that Vince was trying to be nice, when one perceives something the wrong way, well, theres not much one can do. The extra pain seemed to cause him slight discomfort for a moment, but he didn't let it bother him, there was no pain in his eyes, not in this world anyway, not for him....

Vince stood, moving from them to his room, retrieving the flask from his shirt and returning to the living room, sitting in the corner. After a few minutes he opened the flask, letting the smoke waft away before taking a sip and closing it back up, curling up quietly and not making another sound. He'd just wait to be addressed.

*Watching the display, somewhat disappointed.. Kalie shifted in her position so her chin could rest on her one knee, while the other leg shifted to lay under it. The two reminded her of little children taunting one another to see who would give first..*
*Seeing Vince pick himself up and wander from the room, she turned back to Torment..her hand moving to trace the delicate folds in the wings buried beneath his enflamed spikes..* "So what are we doing today then...? "

Torment seemed to blank out for a second until he winced in pain as Kalie ran her fingers along his one wing. It seemed as though one of the boned had been shattered and recently repaired with first aid. He lifted his hand up to touch it, but didn't wince this time as blue energy ran across it, finishing the healing process. He slowly whispered to himself, seemingly not having heard Kalie's question, "Cora..."

*Blinking.. she stopped, her fingers still lingering on the little wing, as an unusual look came into her eyes. Cora..? Kalie had overheard the name once before, in the infirmary.. the doctors had brought him back.. she had thought, or had it been before? It didn't matter.. he had been muttering it in his sleep..*
"Torment.. who is Cora?"

Kalie's inquiry pulled him back into reality with a jerk, "What? Oh...its....complicated. I doubt without being able to show you that you could fully understand. Its something beyond even my full comprehension, but I've grown to accept it...."

Torment shook his head, "No, not a place, nothing like that. She's a person, if I'm not mistaken you've seen her before, but were never introduced. I met her in a place that seems to be a paradox within itself. A place where there is no time, but where all time converges. Not of my father's design either, nor mine. I know very little about it, but sometimes....I appear there...and when I leave, I'm back to where I was, no time having passed." Ho prodded the wing a bit, "Thats how I did this...shattered the bone....Cora fixed it, Robyn, she startled me...fell over the bar...landed on it..." He seemed to ramble on, not making much sense after that.

"Oh! ..the blonde in the tiny outfit?"
*Nodding, Kalie understood a litte.. thinking it must have been nice, to leave sometimes and get away from the never ending drama. But Cora still had to be more then an acquaintance. Arriving with Tac, and on Torment’s mind enough that he would mumble her name over and over while passed out on a bed, Kalie quickly dismissing any thoughts about the girl other then she was just a friend.*

Tor nodded, "Yeah, her." He seemed lost in though as he subconsciously rubbed the now completely healed wing, whispering her name over and over again, not knowing why. There was something about her that sparked something in him, something he lacked...

*Noticing that he was now fully distracted, Kalie began to pick herself up, but not before giving the little wing a fond caress and leaving a soft kiss on his forehead. If he wished, she would leave him to his thoughts, in the small amount of peace quiet the house and their life occasionally granted.*

As she gave him a kiss on the forehead his hand raised to caress her cheek, slowly looking up and returning the kiss as he pressed his lips to hers. Almost jokingly he whispered in her ear as he pulled back from the kiss, and leaned forward again, "Haven't had sex in what? Three days? Don't you think we're due?" He smiled mischeviously as his hand began to trail down from her cheek, his body slowly turning rightside up.

*Pausing, her eyes darted up with a 'huh?!' expression, her cheeks heating up instantly as she blushed furiously, still half on the kitchen counter. Swallowing, Kalie looked at Tor.. feeling very tongue tied at that moment, he had thrown her for a loop..leaving her to think he was distracted with something else. Only to remember, along with everything else, that Vince was only a room away at the most.. Kalie's cheeks at that point glowing.*
