"No, it was Diego again. It was the full moon, so we were all a little loopy. Diego a little more so.He hunted me until the rain came." She sighed again, her happiness wilting like a flower as she remembered the two encounters she had had with Diego.

She pressed her fingers to her shut eyelids, allowing herself to remember something good. A warm smile came to her face and she opened her eyes. "I'm never sad, knowing that we are a pat of each other." She took his hand in hers. His hands were so large that they could have swallowed both of hers. She held the hand to her lips and breathed warmth on his skin.

Lily walked through the door, a grin plastered on her face. She scanned the crowded restaurant looking for a meal. Everyone seemed to be grouped together, and it was possible there were a few enemies scattered in throughout the mix. She walked over to the hostess and had herself seated in a dark corner of the room. She waited for her waitress to come and get her drink order. Martini, two olives.
