Laurelite's eyes lifted to Castor when he spoke, but she only grinned and forced another foul wave of chaos into Harmonia's body.
"You think yourself something special, Prince? Cockroaches are noted for their survival as well. You are but that to me, and less to Metallia. Go back to whatever corner of the Earth you crawled from."
Her eyes shot to Oberon swinging the mop in her face; he was only a child, but he was a senshi. Perhaps it was her attempt at mercy when she swung the back of the scythe at him, attempting to hit him with the blunt edge of the pole rather than slice his head off.
Her scythe and arm were longer than his reach with the mop; she used it to try and shove him away rather than end him. For now.
Babylon, however, was not so lucky. The second his lantern struck her, the scythe jeered towards him like a snake waiting to strike. Her head hurt, but she was far from impaired.
She did not drop Harmonia, and even as her head was ringing, and it was easy to ignore Ganymede. She loathed the princess, and she was keen to see her suffer. One way or the other.
Liryn hit her with his little laser, but she looked down at him disinterested. She had been slowed enough this battle, and though she felt like her body did not want to move, she forced it to.
This time, away from Harmonia.
Even as Athene's beads appeared around her, she stood.
But the damage had been done; she had left a seed of Chaos in Harmonia's chest, in the same way she had Valhalla's, once, long ago. She did not need to make contact with the starseed; the chaos would slowly poison her and finish the deed.
Letting her focus on more pressing matters.
Grus' feathers splattered into her and burned. The marks appeared on her almost instantly, but Laurelite looked like she had shut down after Ganymede's attacks. She was not reacting to pain like she should have been.
She was barely reacting to anything.
She tried to step over the ring of beads but found herself stopped—and glowered at Athene.
Her attention returned to Grus, and though she could not move outside of the ring, she slashed at the beads, and then in frustration she hurled her scythe through the air, sending it flying towards the two senshi. Even if both Grus and Athene dodged, Gevaudan was not so far away that he was out of the line of damage.
Laurelite had a special place in her heart for traitors. She would have liked to see them bleed.
And then—Elpis' magic hit her and it hurt.
Now, almost frantically, Laurelite scratched at where the feathers had been, trying to dispel the pain. She could only mask so much of it.
"Huntite!" she commanded; he was in . "Get rid of that one!" Her finger jeered towards Elpis.
Her hands clenched into fists as she tried once more to step past Athene's beads; the barrier around her was weakening—and as soon as she was free, she was going back to the battlefield.
She owed Ganymede for harming her people. She searched the crowd for the faces of all who had attacked her, personally, tonight.
They were on her list.
And maybe Castor's head might soothe Metallia after losing Apatite.
But then, Cyllene surprised her. She had been vaguely aware that the senshi was conversing with some agents, but she could not have anticipated this. This was not an accident—not if she had ever seen one.
The acid sprayed in her face and Laurelite let out a surprised scream—and then a low growl. Her scythe immediately appeared in her hands again; she swiped at the senshi with no mercy, regardless of what color she wore or to whom she claimed alliance.
And then Athene's magic wore off and even as she had one arm to her eyes, desperately trying to wipe away the sensation of burning acid, she slashed at everyone around her.
Perhaps their was a bit of kindness in this; she could not see her targets, and she consciously swung her blade backwards, as if only to stun rather than immediately kill.
She would not knowingly kill one of her officers.
Except, perhaps, Cyllene.
Cyllene might have deserved it.
Laurelite could barely see—but she could feel. And she felt the presence of a Princess near to her. She offered a quick glance to confirm it was Ganymede, and with a growl of anger she once more flipped her scythe so that she was wielding the blade again—and slammed it towards the center of the girl's chest.

General Benitoite – Off the floor and back to headed for Laurelite
When the attack finally passed, as all senshi and knight attacks did, he pulled himself to his feet. His legs shook but he fought it off, ignored it, pushed himself past that as he stood tall, locking his knees in order to stop the shaking as much as he could. When finally, he could unlock his knees without his legs giving way he turned his gaze onto the Lieutenant and the corrupted senshi.
“That is what the royal can do.” Indicating the others, she’d brought down, and the pain she had brought them personally. “That is what magic can do. It can be devastating or nothing at all. It will however always pass – remember that. No matter the pain you are in that it is only temporary.” He said with a coldness coating his words as he turned his slate hued eyes back to the General Queen and he continued toward her. He had, while drawing closer, heard Valhalla’s words and not long ago the idea of the other dying would have hurt him. It would have brought sadness and other feelings but now – little. A slow death for anyone sucked especially when you knew it. A quick death was better but he dare not try and do that – kill the knight. He would not test his luck with a Princess at his side who was involved with him, he wasn’t stupid by any means.
As he finally made it to the General Queen he gave a bit of a bow, no time for proper manners here, and summoned his weapon as he turned to face those who would oppose her and try to kill her. “Allow me the honor of fighting at your side?” He asked while letting his gaze sweep over Ganymede, Valhalla, and then to the former general he knew. Held tight in his hands was his weapon, ready to strike out at any who dared test him.
And watching as a corrupted senshi turned on their General Queen – turned on them he snarled. “Traitor!” One single word that labeled the other and her actions. It would be death for her if she was caught tonight, or any other night. A traitor was a traitor and would not be left to live unless some other means to deal with them had been come up with. Knowing Valhalla could do nothing and having noted how beaten up for former General, now Knight, looked he felt he was safe in aiming his weapon for the corrupted and throwing it like a javelin at her. “Oh no, no, no, you don’t get to run off and help the other side.” Making a tasking noise his narrowed eyes were fixed on her.
“Do I have permission to deal with the traitor, General Queen?” He asked in a show of loyalty and discipline as he waited to see if he had permission to do more than throw his weapon at her.

Cetus – finally caught up with Sabine, Phact and them.
Looking to the Mars knight he decided to answer his question. “Found them in the basement of what seemed to be barracks and a medical area.” He said and paused, shocked, when the other dropped so suddenly – what the ********? He didn’t have a clue what was happening but he moved from Kastra’s side in order to protect the downed knight till he could get back onto his feet.
Looking to Havasu who was trying to get the knight up he shook his head. “Don’t. I got it.” He said moving to bend down in front of the mars knight. “Get on my back, I’ll carry you.” He said hoping the knight could at least do that. He could carry him, more than able to do such things. It meant his hands would be busy and he couldn’t use his magic or attack anything. But it would get the knight out of here as well as the code, which he didn’t have a clue about. But if it was important than its best if they got it out of here also.
“Havasu, take my place with Kastra please. The back is safe and she can subdue most things.” So he wouldn’t need to worry about hurting himself further. A glance to Nirvana ahd him shaking his head. “I got the knight, don’t worry.” Maybe, if need be, he could free up a hand in order to at least use his magic, which he’d not yet used. Yup, he would carry the knight. “Just make sure everyone is alright, please Nirvana?” He asked nodding to their group. “Get them out of here. I’ll get the knight out.” Not knowing his name at all, he would get him out of here either way.

Delphi, squire of Polaris. With Phact’s group.
Staring at the mars knight as he went down he moved to also protect him, she had one hand free and her scepter was in that hand. She could try and put up a shield if need be, though she really had no idea how much magic she had left. She didn’t know how long she could hold it up for if she had to. She was glad when Havasu moved to help, though it wasn’t a smart move as he was hurt, then Nirvana was helping Havasu and offering to help the mars knight followed by Cetus.
Good, she didn’t need to worry about using her magic yet…didn’t need to worry about it failing on them. Gripping both scepter and coat filled with starseeds tighter she looked about. “Once someone has him up we better move. We can’t dally about any longer. People are getting up and we need to move.” She stated calmly, hoping to get everyone moving – now.
When Havasu told her about the code, or that the item the mars knight had was the code, she nodded her head. “I see.” She wondered, briefly, how it was down here also. She had seen part of it in Olympus and part at her wonder…but why would some of it be here? This place was so filled with chaos how could it have survived so long down here? She’d ask once she visited her wonder, maybe it would answer her with something blunt and straight to the point.

Eternal Chaldene, rejoining Phact’s group.
Stepping around another downed Negaverse officer the senshi shook his head. He had no idea what the ******** that spell was or what it did but it was a whole load of awesome, as far as he was concerned. Though it did seem to have downed a few of their own. It certainly made things safer for them to make their great escape. Running his fingers through his hair he soon came across Phact’s group again and approached Kastra. His hands sunk into the pockets of his uniform as he came up to them. He would really be hurting later but right now he was dealing with it as he looked her over. “Pick that skirt up and lets move, if you got a power like that get to the front. It might be better to cast it just ahead of us all. I’ll see if I can’t get some magic going also.”
He didn’t know what he had left in him, he was sore, hurting like hell, and had used a lot of magic. But he’d try and force more from himself if he could – if it would help. “It seems a new member to your group is down also…we should get things rolling before we get ********. Those officers are not gonna be happy when they get up.” He said nodding his head.
“Phact, get them to the portal now. Kastra will go ahead in case her magic can be used to make it easier to get out. I can go ahead also and see if I can’t do something as well.” Provide some sort of distraction. He’d do whatever he could manage.

Kairatos:- Getting a piggy back from Cetus apparently. <3 Is this now a tortoise and the hare race to the exit?
"Ganymeade's magic..." Kairatos offered, though it was fairly obvious it wasn't comfortable even to reveal this. "...Forgot what it did. Didn't plan for the range either."
GOD he felt stupid not putting that together.
That at least meant one good thing, when he started feeling better, they'd know the Nega's were as well.
He felt humiliatingly vulnerable, when the others around him were unaffected, but it was his own damn fault, even if he was concerned that trying to ride piggyback was likely to give his strange young man a horn from his Pauldron in the eye. Last thing he needed was a good jostle to give his helpers a new 'pirate' look... but he knew he wasn't getting far without help. His pace at present was too slow, unlike Laurelite there was only so far he could convince his body to go against it's self preservation instincts.
"I'm Kairatos." he added, trying to hide, or at least... swallow his humiliation at needing this much help... Everyone needed help sometimes. No one was looking down on him for it... Or he was pretty sure they weren't. This was just an evacuation of the troops.
I have no idea who all to quote at this point. @_@
General Witchite, Nega Disposable - Someone needs to stop reading Joker Comics
The punch to the face was dead on. At least it would have been had the general not suddenly disappeared leaving nothing more than rocks for the woman to hit followed by the sound of a disc.
Witchite reappeared still on her back just feet from Avalon. It was enough room that the general brought her bladed staff swinging towards Avalon's back, completely missing the fact another had joined the fun.
Just as she was about to swing back to her feet, the burning power of the Princess crystal passed over her. That was more pain that any human could have brought Witchite as he let out a scream like a banshee. Just how many had she killed in her time as an agent anyway? But her entire body burned as she cried once more, unable to attack until the pain cleared off.

Super Sailor Phact - Fighting Youma...Rather short fuse
Phact had been lucky. She had completely missed the fact that the Princess had used her magic that sent everyone to the ground. Well, everyone that appeared to meet a certain qualification. She had been busy dealing with the appearance of a youma that seemed to like throwing rocks...between dealing with it and ducking, the senshi of doves had almost missed everything going on.
That was before the youma lifted a rock too big to hold long and ended up squished under it.
Anti-climatic but she wouldn't complain.
Now she could turn around and take stock of what was going on. A mars knight joined them and had been affected by the magic. Slievenmon was way to interested in something else going on...which Phact was not happy to see was a corruption. That would need to be discussed later. Nirvana had thrown Havasu's shoulder back into place (ouch) and Cetus was trying to give the mars knight a piggy back ride.
Boy she wished she had a camera.
Inhaling, she moved towards Slievenamon and closed the distance between the two of them. "A corruption." She snapped out making sure the woman could hear her but was still moving. "I'll explain later but it's not something you want to be near." She came back up to rejoin the group of men trying to get the Mars Knight out.
"No one is going to die on my watch. But you..." She said looking to meet the big guys eyes. "Whatever you are holding, you worry about that and let us deal with the rest. Dropping that or letting it slip into the wrong hands cannot be good. Focus on staying awake, alive, and holding it. We will do the rest." She gave him a weak smile and then headed back to the front to join Sabine, Sidouer, and Arcucis
When Kairatos went down, Sabine wasn't sure why. That scared her, and it had caused her to freeze up for a moment, wondering if there was some sort of invisible sniper taking pot shots at obvious targets. She didn't know what to do, she was so in over her head she didn't even know which was was up anymore. She was torn between screaming, crying, hyperventilating, and being sick. Her hands gripped tighter on the pail in her hands, knowing that above anything else, they had to get out of there.
She needed to get out of there.
It wasn't until Cetus had scooped Kairatos up, and Phact had started speaking to him and others, that she finally snapped out of her meltdown. Taking a deep, shuddering breath, she steeled herself, and quickly started moving for the portal again, hoping against hope that someone had managed to save the poor girl getting corrupted. She wanted to help, wished she could help... But they had to get the starseeds and whatever Kairatos had out.

At Dallol's words he winced, cursing low under his breath as he quickly took her hand and pulled her toward the portal. "Not much we can do for her right now..." He said, trying to weave them through the battlefield and away from the enraged General-Queen. "I have one responsibility right now, and that's getting you out of this alive."
Any other day... any other situation and he'd of suggested they render aid. But they were behind enenmy lines, and in a bad, bad place to be trapped. He didn't want to... no. He couldn't risk Dallol for Harmonia.

Venice, with Erebus and Phact's group.
Watching as Negaverse officers dropped he nodded to Erebus' words. "yes. Time to go." He said nodding his head. It seemed the downed Mars Knight was getting a lot of help offered so he'd be able to get out of here also, Phact and the group would see to it.
"We go now." He said giving a quick tug to Erebus' sleeve and hurried toward the portal, intent on getting them out of here and yet not running ahead of the group. He didn't want to risk coming face to face with an officer as they seemed to slowly be getting up - this wasn't good.
He hadn't seen the corruption, which was perhaps a good thing, as he was too caught up in wanting to get out alive and safe. He didn't want anyone in their group, or in general, stuck inside this place. It was dark and ominous and suffocating and it just felt wrong - very wrong.
Watching the Mars knight go down, and for others to rush to offer help, he held back from going to offer his own help as well. Looking about the group he pulled away from Erebus for a moment and moved over toward Sabine and set a hand on her gently. "Will be ok, will get out of here - no worries." He spoke gently. "Cannot run like headless chicken...need to focus and observe. They are getting up...we must tread slowly. We will all make it though." He was sure of it, the people here and the determination - they'd make it out. "It's ok to be worried or scared...this is war and a big fight." He said nodding his head once.

Lt. Huntite
As the magic faded Huntite took a few deep breaths and listened to what Benitoite had to saw about what magic can do. He had been getting up to his feet shakily when Laurelite ordered him after Elpis and he was quick to straighten up. On one hand he was shocked that the General Queen had singled him out instead of the General but on the other hand some part of him was gleeful at the opportunity to both show he was dedicated to the cause and another crack at the intruders.
"Yes Ma'am!" He said back and and started to head for the pointed out Senshi. He had to walk a few steps before he was more sure on his feet then he moved quicker. "Guess this time you get to fight me instead of the General." He said when he was closer, recognizing Elpis as one of the Senshi from earlier in the castle. He didn't wait for a response, instead he went about following his sovereigns orders by lashing out with a punch.

Harmonia, Super Senshi of Harmony - Writhing on the ground (Note: she dropped her small sack of starseeds)
As Laurelite pushed another force of chaos in her, Harmonia cried out again. Her entire being felt like it was being torn apart and, in a way, it was. The poor senshi had no idea what was going on around her. She didn’t see Oberon wield a mop at her, Babylon being attacked by the General Queens scythe for trying to protect her or the numerous other people who dared face Laurelite’s wrath to try and save her. Not even the corrupted senshi, Cyllene, who dared defy her General Queen was noticed by Harmonia at that time. Nothing mattered at that time except trying her damn hardest to try and keep the chaos at bay. Fighting for the negaverse, for Metallia was a horrifying prospect and with each passing moment that ticked by was becoming more and more the likely turn out for the 15 year old.
Finally, she felt the grip on her starseed disappear, and she dared to crack open her tear laden eyes to look up at the General Queen who was now busy wielding her scythe and moving away! Maybe, just maybe she’d gotten lucky?
A wave of pain wrecked through her body and she gasped as she clutched at her chest involuntarily. Her body curled up on itself as she felt the chaos continue to leak into her. What...what was this?! How could the chaos still be seeping into her with Laurelite moving away? Was this just the after effects?
Another pulse traveled through her body. “No!” She cried. Her voice raspy and ragged from the screaming.
With the amounting pain, the young girl began to wonder if fighting it was even worth it anymore all the while her fuku continued to darken bit by bit.

Erebus, Squire of Saturn ~ With Venice and Phact's group
Erebus could see Nirvana set Havasu's shoulder and gave a wince even as he went along with Venice pulling him forward. While he had never had the 'pleasure' of experiencing that first hand he was sure it hurt like hell. He watched when Nirvana moved to help Kairatos up only for Cetus to get the Mars Knight into a piggyback ride carry. His attention was on the small group so he missed the corruption going on though he wouldn't have been able to do anything about it anyway.
His attention was pulled away from the others to Venice as he pulled away to go and try to comfort Sabine. He moved so that he was close behind the Page and while the other was trying to offer comfort, he was keeping an eye on their surroundings just in case some of the slowly recovering officers got up and attacked while they were distracted.

Cyllene grinned victoriously for the very very brief moment that she had when Laurelite was hit by her attack. It was cut short when the General Queen summoned her scythe back into her hands and Cyllene's eyes widened, horrified. This was it, this was how she was going to die. She took a clumsy step back as the giant weapon was swiped at her. The blade cut through the bodice of her fuku and cut through her skin like a knife through butter. The step backwards ensured that it was not deep, but it was enough to ellicit a scream through clenched teeth.
Blood spread down the fabric on her abdomen and stained her neon belt, one gloved hand pressed to the fresh wound. Taking a few more steps backwards, Cyllene was caught by surprise when she heard Benitoite's voice- she knew the General well enough that the way he spat the word traitor at her hurt more than Laurelite's blade. She pleaded with Benitoite with bright blue eyes, hoping against all odds that he wouldn't try to kill her where she stood. Unfortunately that wasn't the case and it was quickly apparent to her that she would be making an awfully huge amount of enemies tonight -- and not on the side of Order.
She raised both hands slightly above her head as a sign of peace. She didn't want to fight him, but clearly the General had a different plan and she barely moved in time as his staff flew at her. The blade punctured her arm just below the shoulder and she screamed a second time. The Acid Senshi desperately wanted to call out for her Eternal attack, but she had no idea if it would affect the Negaverse... And of course it risked Valhalla and Ganymede being within the vicinity of the rain. But as Laurelite and Benitoite closed in on the small group, Cyllene became more panicked.
"Get as far from me as you can!" She yelled, unsure of who was even listening. Then, she yanked the staff from her arm, threw it to the ground and raised both hands above her head- this time, not in surrender, but to fight back. "Cyllene Acid Rain!"
As acid rain fell from the sky, Cyllene took the opportunity to run to the poor Senshi who was curled in on herself, clutching at where Cyllene knew her starseed lay in her chest. She grabbed the younger girl, grunted as she picked her up and teleported further from Benitoite and Laurelite, behind where Ganymede stood.
"Ganymede, I need you!," she screamed as she clung to the blue haired Senshi in her arms. "You have to fix her! Right now." She was rocking Harmonia gently to try and calm her, "Ganymede!" She knelt and put herself over Harmonia's body to protect her from the acid that was falling from the sky. As the liquid hit her, her fuku began to dissolve and chemical burns adorned her skin.
Hot tears filled Cyllene's eyes. If this girl died, her going up against her own superior will have been for nothing. This awful, terrible pain will have been for nothing. She sacrificed everything for her, and that thought absolutely terrified her. She had no idea how she was going to get out of this mess alive.
It couldn't all be for nothing.
Cyllene desperately needed for Harmonia to be okay.
Quote:
Anyone nearby Ganymede/Laurelite & Co. - AOE has a radius of 20ft
Sailor Cyllene raises both hands above her head, says her attack name and acid rain falls upon her enemies. When the acid rain hits the enemy, it can corrode/dissolve clothes and causes severe burns to the skin. It has a large radius of approximately 20ft, and no ability to distinguish between senshi or negaverse so once it is cast if an ally moves/gets thrown into/whatever her rain, they’re pretty SOL. The rain cannot fall somewhere else until the attack stops, and it lasts for 45 seconds.

Havasu Falls, Squire of Pluto --- So pale he was bordering on paper white
Hav was about to shrug off Nirvana when the page came up and demanded his arm but he didn't have a chance too do more then open his mouth before the page FORCED his shoulder back into the socket. He wheezed in pain and surprise, the black that had been eating at his vision covered his sight. The squire didn't quite black out but he was damn close. By the time he could breath normally and was able to actually comprehend what was going on around him, the Mars Knight had been scooped up by Cetus and what ever magic that had floored most of the negaverse was wearing off. It was beyond time to go.
He nodded in accent of his new post and got to his own feet, his arm already feeling exponentially better, not anywhere near perfect but it no longer felt like a stiff breeze would have him passing out. He glanced at Phact but felt a spike of anger as she barked out orders, sadness tinged the anger with a dash of confusion just to add flavor to the mix of feelings spinning through him. Luckily the senshi seemed to ignore him and he drooped to the back of the group, now acting as a rear guard.
Mlinzi, Guardian Cat --- Circling Phact's group, dusting youma as he goes
Mel was enjoying himself... dusting youma after youma with his teeth and claws. Being a hunting cat he liked the thrill and the rush it gave him to have his pray, it helped that each puff of dust helped his group get closer to the portal. The hyperactive cat had actually started to circle the group, pouncing on one chaos creature after another, completely unaware of the blood that matted his fur in some spots where the youma fought back and wounded the large cat.
He was so wrapped up in his hunt that he didn't even noticde when things had changed... the position of the various fighters in the group had shifted. Mel bounded over to Phact, "Come on. Come on. Lets go slow pokes." He nudged the back of her legs with his side. "Oh look blood. Hey those youmas bit me." The cat had left a little smear of blood against the senshi and glanced at his side in surprise. The guardian shrugged it off, and darted back out to the mass of youma, yowling along the way. "Taste my claws you dust balls."
