"Haven't included Greece in my traveling adventures yet. Care to tell me what was like having to live there?" she asked. And as if on cue, the food and drink, minus the dessert, was served to them, the visual presentation being pleasing for the eyes. The ice mage ate her food in moderate bites, savoring the cooked meat together with the tomato sauce. All in all, the food was definitely appealing, though not as much as the family meals served by the entire Ice clan. The traces of the entree were ten washed down with the drink, refreshing her parched throat in moderate waves.
"Maybe Solaris should go here again alongside her beloved Xander, because that would be so romantic~" she gushed, thinking about what may go right in this encounter. But it was too bad; Cassie must have forgotten that the violinist resigned from her job right in the place where the two were currently in, right before Sarina almost murdered the fallen angel in cold blood.

Thankfully she didn't need to really answer since their food had arrived. She had never needed a faster out before. The aroma of the pasta hit her nose and her stomach growled a bit. She eagerly picked up her fork and dug into her meal. The food as well as the drink that she took between bites, was absolutely scrumptious. Then again she was far from a picky eater so most foods tasted good to her. Hearing Cassie speak up again to gush about her cousin and future in-law, made the witch chuckle softly. "Well this does seem like a lovely place that a couple could enjoy. Especially since it's so close to the beach." she said softly with a grin. ╚══⚸*:・゚✧☾ ☥ ❦ ☥ ☽*:・゚✧⚸══╝

At the comment about the place, though, she gushed even further. "Maybe my prince charming will come by and sweep me away. I'm so envious of my cousins who have their hearts taken by others before me." It wasn't long before dessert was served, and while it was savored, Cassie sent Esmee the contact details, like her phone number and address. "Feel free to drop by for a visit anytime, or even text me." she grinned, feeling glad that she had found new company thanks to the witch who was knowledgeable with the business she was currently in. "And if you ever bump into Solaris again aside from giving me the candies, let me know. I wanna see how she will react once you ask her about her love life."
As much as she wanted to savor more time with her friend, the event would just be temporary. With that, Cassandra waved the other goodbye, feeling satisfied with the meal and her company, before leaving the place to rest up for the night.

⊙〖OOC: Long time no see. ; ^ ; ⊙ Today's Outfit: Summer Melancholy Breeze ⊙ Feeling: Mellow; Thoughtful ⊙ Money: $1780.50〗⊙( ♬ But I think my mistakes became the chemistry for my miracles... • )
Aubrey ran her hands over her face, touching up against her now pinkened cheeks with the plush yellow-beige towel that recently hung along the edge of the sink. She placed it over the edge, tightening her grip with a thoughtful glance to the mirror. A last droplet or so of water ran against her jawline. Tipping her gaze upward, she curved back a loose curl of hair and huffed slightly. Rigel had been detailed with every last clip against her hair. She couldn't lie! She missed having her shoulders bare enough to feel the summer breeze against them. She pumped some foundation into her hand, dabbing along her cheekbones and forehead before leaving a last dash against her nose. Part of her didn't want to go home for a few days more. She liked it here at La Mer. It was... Comfortable. Knowing Tyrese was just down the hallway. She didn't have to lay on that bed, staring at the other side awkwardly; remembering the locks of honey brown hair she'd wake up to. She almost shuddered in disgust. My memory was lost, Bree! What did you want me to do?! His voice still echoed a few weeks later. Her knuckles whitened.
I wanted you to stay and never leave.
Her stare had been livid, violet glittering vividly as she trembled with anger. There had been no use to the argument. Nothing that she hadn't thought of over the past several months of her life. And even so... How could she even believe him? She crossed her arms uncomfortably over her chest for a moment, exhaling heavily as her chest sank. How do you believe someone that walked out? Because they regretted it the moment they did? Because it was some sort of excuse? She ground her teeth for a moment before the running tap water struck her peripherals. Quickly, and uselessly, she slammed the same towel against the running tap. "Sh- No, no, no, stop!" It eased and paused. Emotions. They had been the cause of the accidents lately. Not that she didn't think she was immune to them, but even still, the least she could do was keep some control while she stayed here.
She turned on her heel after finishing up, stepping into her heels one at a time. Her hand kept a hold of the wall, easing her balance some in case she fell over. When had she been so into dresses anyway? When was the moment she turned away from jeans and tank tops? Ugh. She needed to go shopping. She missed wearing regular jean shorts and open-sided tank tops that showed off her strapped up rib cage. Tyrese wouldn't think less of it, would he? Something about him seemed so... Regal. Elegant, sophisticated? It was odd. Five or six years ago, she stayed away from him. They traded a man back and forth with silent negotiations until the end of the week came - rinse and repeat. She tugged on her heel and stepped forward, pressing her toes under and through the curved top until a few pink-painted tips poked through. The earrings felt foreign and heavy, dangling back and forth over her shoulders, hidden somewhat within a sea of chocolate brown tresses.
He'd been so kind these past few days... She wanted to kiss him. Kiss him for real. Leave a slight glimmering stain against his tan lips and watch his navy orbs stare in both admiration and shock. She hung her head forward with a sigh. If only she were a slight bit more brave enough. But in truth.. She was somewhat afraid of how he'd react. Lillian- Her lip twitched. Lillian's death had been so sudden. So completely out of the blue, it had sent him into a complete state of... Well, she wasn't even sure what to call it. It had hurt to watch him mourn over her. But it had also made her angry for unknown reasons she couldn't begin to explain. Jealousy, maybe? She clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth and set off down the hallway towards his office with several hushed clicks from her heels.

The top half of his notebook page careened upwards and fluttered with a loud crack, dancing in tune to the sweep of his desk fan as it pivoted at the neck. Turning it's gust on his face, the breeze began a gentle sway of the hairs against his brow, causing the lupine male to squint his eyes in time to the rhythm. Oblivious to the workings of the cycling blades, Tyrese tapped his pen a third of the way down the current page on which he had begun his work. A mental cacophony of words streamlined through his thoughts until he was satisfied to draw one out like a fish from the river. With a slow, steady sigh, he resumed once more.
'Your love has captured me in ways I can't describe with mere words'
He hummed the song lyrics, blinking again against his shuffling hairs as the end of his pen bobbed and swayed. Mondays were usually his day off, but with what Rylee was going through he had decided to pick up her shift for the time being. He assumed something must have been going on at home if the water elemental was picking up extra shifts the way she was- and once she walked in, barefoot and cat in hand, he almost instantly knew why. He knew how it felt, after all. She would need time to settle, sort herself, then pull it all together before she could resume work- now as the on-sight manager for La Mer. While the man wasn't in the position to be too flexible, even just to have her withdraw for today had taken some firm pushing from him.
Checking the time, the wolf gently shut the notebook cover. ”Come in, Sugar drop, my goddess.” Her footfalls had neared his doorway, her scent carrying her presence to his office before her body could. She wouldn’t need to knock. Besides, he could expect her to drop by more often, or he by her room. As much as he offered his own home he presumed it had the potential to feel too big and empty for one; and ‘she’ had been there, Aubrey didnt want to hear or think or involve herself with another thing concerning she. Could he blame her? The woman had taken on her husband with not a word, even with the opportunity there to do so. She could have called the wolf to deliver the information, and yet thought it was none of his business to be told about the brunette’s husband. His former best friend— brother. The man whom thought Tyrese wanted him to cover up any potential knowledge that could lead to involvement with his own child.
The athlete hadn’t attempted contacting him at all, so Tyrese wondered how the honied brunette recovered his memory. Perhaps it was for the best that they didnt speak, but it wasn’t as if Finn had ever known what was for the best concerning them before now. Why or how had he decided the author wasnt worth even the slightest seek? Maybe he was more concerned with Bree, as he should be. Yet, both he and Lillian acted and behaved as if they already knew Tyrese’s mindset. Ever since he and Aubrey started growing closer, their behavior had spoken of betrayal and mistrust despite them being no where near by in order to make even the vaguest most assumptions of such. Even before there was the potential for any, Finn had began treating him like the enemy. He couldn’t understand why, but he would leave things the way that Finn wanted them. They had fallen apart the first day Tyrese had shown up on his door. The two people he veiwed as friends were both not so okay at the moment, but for once, Tyrese was. He hadnt felt this good since....since before Lillian had restored the pedestal once reserved solely for her. And it had taken him time to feel this way, months and months of striving in what had been circles until three weeks ago. Maybe time did heal all wounds, but for him, he hadnt made progress until he changed the way he delt with what time was attempting to bring him through. Once he stopped asserting that his decisions brought everything on himself, and began convincing himself that it could just NOT be his fault, he began looking up again. Her words werent in his head anymore. Not hers, or his mother’s- mostly, anyway, when it came to the latter. He didn’t have to question himself, in the end he had never invited a man into her bed for her, or chosen to abuse his child because of his own pain.
HE didnt have to question, not when it came to when he trusted people or how he handled his relationships. Aubrey had enough adult sense to know when things were going too fast, anyway. What's more -only recently- he accepted that trust meant letting others make their decisions, even if those decisions scared him. He wasn’t apprehensive of what being hurt could do to him anymore. He could come back from it again and again and again, like he always had. Tyrese Havens was more a survivor and warrior than he gave himself credit for.
Pushing back his chair and standing for the lady entering the room, Tyrese rounded his desk and took her in. His uneven smile found him before words could, his heavy form leaning back enough to nest itself on the end of the elongated furniture. ”Mornin’ beautiful.”

And jealousy of what? Because he had been so upset over her untimely death? The sudden tear and final destruction of whatever had come out of their relationship. It was over now. Lillian was… No more. And there had been absolutely nothing he could do about it. Death was a scary thought for the brunette. The idea that one day, possibly, she might pass away without a sliver left of contact between herself and the living world. Would she lose her memories? Would she be able to partake in the fun things she found on Earth? In.. The living world? Her throat tightened somewhat, her pulse beginning to race against her chest. In her world, a heaven existed. But what constituted being able to get there? What stopped spirits on the inbetween - the reason people thought ghost existed? And when she parted, would she lose everyone she had behind? Her throat twitched as she swallowed, her hands tightening and releasing one more time as one lifted to rap against the door. But before she could, he practically caught her in the act. A small smile suppressed itself against her lips - a light of calmness emanating from the door. Was she so predictable?
My goddess.
A slight practically-purr reverberated against her inner lip, soon replaced with pearly white teeth biting blissfully down until they sank firmly into the plush surface. He certainly made her feel like one. With a twist against the latch, she pressed inward, flattening her palm over the threshold and gliding in with a straightened form. Heels made her feel tall. They made her feel powerful, graceful - when she was around him. Her curls hang loosely over her shoulders; avoiding the ivory surface. ”Hi~.” She smiled warmly to him. It was different staying down the hallway from him. Different, but appreciated. She liked being able to wake up and not find an empty layout at the bottom of the stairs - knowing he’d taken Sela to school or gone to work himself. In some sick sense, she missed being able to lie next to him, knowing he’d be there each time she’d wake up - even if he was hurt around the time being. Her long, mascara-brushed lashes narrowed over her now blushing cheeks. Did he think of her often? As often as she’d like to think he did? Slowly she made her way to the corner of his desk, leaning her hip until she could ease herself up to sit upon it. She crossed her leg over her knee, resting the tip of her heel gently along her calf and lacing her fingers over her now bare knee. The dress hitched along her thigh.
”I see your work was more important than staying the night with me.” She teased, eyeing him as she glanced around the office. As many times as she had seen it, she always admired the decoration he had chosen to go with. It was certainly better than her tiny closet-like office in the back of the bar. It was small. How she managed to fit that desk in at the time, she would never know. She did, however, remember specifically sitting in the office to set it up so she wouldn’t have to maneuver it through the door after it was finished. She leaned her head back, letting her tresses fall away from her cheekbones. Perhaps some of her movements were intentional. To make herself appear more attractive under whatever lighting he saw her in at this very moment. Her leg began swinging much like that of a metronome, back and forth, back and forth as she looked thoughtful, most certainly giggling if he made a witty retort like he often did. ”Do you know what todaaayyy is?”

The weight of her presence filled the room almost tangibly, the empty air now a quiet whisper disappearing through the doorway at her approach. With her chocolate ringlets coalesced the warm amber of the sun and in the undertones of her mellisonant voice danced the ocean’s rolling waves. ”Nonsense, I was just trying to save you from the mob of angry employees who wanted their checks on time.” Chuckled Tyrese, crossing his arms and turning his torso towards her as she nestled beside him. He missed being in bed with her too, but same as Rylee had once done for him, Tyrese kept the news of her seperation between closed lips, even with Aubrey; not that she had ever felt the need to pry into his every action.
Lillian had done that, both in their teenage years and the recent months past. It had started with attempts to guilt his desires to be away from her at anytime, and had evolved to...rage to find he was places she didn't want him to be. He still wasn’t sure why she had reacted so strongly to him helping Aubrey through her appointment, if it was honestly and entirely related to him being involved with a pregnancy when hers had gone unnoticed. He thought so, as she had avoided his every attempt at getting them to meet from that day on. It may have been that jealousy that underlied her next violent outburst, too, the one she deliberately enacted when Aubrey confronted her. Tyrese wished he had seen those red flags in particular, that he had connected the dots between her self harm and her escalation into harming others.
Pushing off the desk, Tyrese rounded the brunette to drop his notebook into a drawer that closed behind it. He scanned her with a male gaze and adjusted in his chair, forcing any bewilderment from his expression as he frantically searched his mind for her answer. Today was...June 11th. Mainly, he was making plans for July; a barbecue and pool party at his place if it could be pulled off how he wanted. Still and unfortunately, nothing came to mind for June. No birthdays or anniversaries, no holidays either. Best as he tried, Tyrese wasn’t solidly sure of any answer. His daily planner was impeccable, but to take a peak was cheating. Was he really supposed to know the answer?
”What is it, love? Another surprise of yours? Like the underwater trip we took?” Suggested he while the fan resumed blowing over him. Aubrey was a surprise in of herself, so in the least, the father was intrigued. He had loved the experience before but the timing now would be worse; his tattoos were still healing and couldn’t be submerged quite yet. Tyrese wondered how she would like them, whether tattoos were her fancy; He had wondered the same about getting a piercing, though in the end he had wanted one for years on end regardless of anyone else’s opinion. Besides all that, the heat was rather dangerous for the wolf and his pup. That said, going outside was daunting and would take far more than- Tyrese fidgeted, scanning along the brunettes neck, then down to her swaying leg. Er- far more than pretty batting lashes and puffed cheeks.

Her smile only grew warmer, bursting with energy against the edges as she held in the very thought prodding against her lips. Had he really not known in the slightest? Her glance flicked to his fidgeting hands, a slightly coy take on her expression revealing she might have seen the movement she waited for. Her arousal for him had only grown more tiring. She yearned for him. Wanted him. Needed his touch against her. It was never enough to be close by with occasional hugs and cuddles - assuming they didn’t deem it all inappropriate for whatever audience watched nearby, even if they weren’t really looking. They were shy. Regardless of how long it had been. It was the history- The circumstance, the reasoning for them coming together. The realization of their deeper wants. Not to cheat on their partner. Not to cause spite. There was never any initial attraction between them. How many times had she tightened her lips and waved in his general direction when Finn said he’d catch up with her later? How many times would she sit along the side of the court and clap for no reason while they demolished hoop after hoop? She leaned slightly further back, flattening a palm over the top of his desk.
Coincidental. It was all so coincidental. Knowing him back then, knowing him the way she did now. The first off handed supernatural question she had ever truly been asked that wasn’t immediately supposed to be a joke. And now, here she sat, surrounded by a family of wolves. She felt protected. She felt needed. She felt listened to. Because no matter the issue, he was there to listen. He was there to watch the stupid movies she wanted to watch. He was there to answer her questions - he was there to comfort her. He was there. Finn was… Finn was always gone. In high school he was always gone, he had disappeared… And now he was gone again. Until recently. And yet… She didn’t feel that same want, that same romantic vice for him. She ran her tongue against the roof of her mouth. It felt bitter but… Right. ”Not unless you want to to celebrate~.” She flashed another toothy smile at him. She supposed they could. Escape to the caves where no one would find them. Not many knew of the place, much less dared to even try to get down to it. It was just over the drop off - and that alone was scary. How in the hell was she supposed to fight off a shark? Shove more element it already swam through? Yeesh.
”I can’t believe you haven’t been keeping track, Havens! I’d be ecstatic if I were in your shoes. You’ve been alcohol-less for 2 whole weeks!” She couldn’t imagine withdrawing from something so habituary for people that lost a- Could she say ‘loved one’? She supposed she could. She could understand the permanent love, no matter what that person might have done. They had a child together, for God’s sake. Even if Lillian had been adamant on keeping him out of it, when it came down to it, Sela was still his too. Her jaw tightened and released. She was still pretty sure she had been intentionally telling the little one what a bad person Bree was. She remembered the scowls for no reason every time her mother was around. She cocked an eyebrow. ”Unless you’ve been smuggling some in your pant leg.” She tapped the tip of her heel against his knee, jutting it gently up and down. ”Let’s see them ankles, saucey. Double check that I’m not missing something here.” She giggled. Not that she doubted him. She had offered him a drink here and there in the past, and she could imagine the itch after hearing that, but- ”I’m proud of you. As… Condescending as that sounds. But I am. It takes a lot of self control to stop a vice.” She sat back up and pressed her knuckles against her cheek with a wide smile, resting her elbow against her leg until she practically hunched. ”And now we can destroy every last bit of it with shots until we pass out. And start it all over again!” Her hands hit the air, throwing her body enthusiastically upward.

  ✗ w/ Aubrey ┋✗ In the Office ┋ ✗ Wearing: Fashion Best ┋ ✗ Status
Aubrey certainly looked to be onto something the wolf was not, her radiating smile expressing so with risen and tinted cheeks. It wasn't long for the new mood to thrive behind her eyes, however, the last swiftly overthrown with satisfaction and triumph. This he was more attuned to, replying to her demure celebration with a placid growl of his own. Over time the lingerings of his navy orbs weren't intended to miss her attention, no more so than her now deliberate measures of poise. Still, to see her strategizing against him put his mind to work, and he wondered how he should feel about it. He was a conservative man, an old fashioned one who should have taken his last relationship slow, but wouldn’t make the same mistake with this one. Shy wasn’t inaccurate either, the brunette’s cheeks weren’t the only ones to burn when they accidentally touched. Sela was another good reason for them to hold off; with precision she had learned when to expect her father to plop down onto the couch in semi-frustration, offering the child company until she insisted they were having regularly scheduled sleepovers. Tyrese averted his gaze with a blink, pulling apart the snapped buttons of his jacket and twisting in his chair. Self control was never his strong suit, so keeping himself at bay while wanting to give her what she wanted was none the easier. It had gotten warmer inside just since Aubrey walked in.
In high school he had done nothing but avoid her, turning away with outward annoyance when he was simply too flustered to know how to interact with her. Honestly, how was he ever supposed to compete with Aubrey Clark? He hardly understood why Finn came around him, she was Finn’s entity on a pedistal he wasn’t allowed to approach. Perfect, confident, supportive- worth being around, unlike himself. The man had been filled with nothing but gratitude and honor to be named godfather by the brunette personally, he had known nothing but admiration for them, her, until Halloween. Even then, hadn’t he kept pushing Finn for her? He hadn’t taken over her care for any ulterior motive of his own, only for what she was to Finn, and who she was to be letting him into their family. He might’ve accepted things staying that way had the honied brunette bounced back before now. Envious, maybe, but content to hold her happiness above it all. Tyrese wouldn’t sleep with a married woman, but that went without saying. He only recalled pushing those boundaries...once? Or twice. Knowing she initially thought his feelings were only a crush, that had been too unbearable.
If he had even a fraction of the words it would take to describe what loving her felt like, well before he would even mark her. Loving- that’s who he was. He loved with his whole being and, as it was said, love covered a multitude of sins. He had loved Lillian that way too, but by now he firmly believed their perception of love and how to express it existed on two different plains. It was to his complete surprise to see someone giving back what he gave. He hadnt given the slightest peek towards Aubrey until he’d realized that; it had crossed his mind in those three weeks Lillian left him in town, it was those three weeks spent repeating that scene in his head of Aubrey standing up for him when he’d only...
”Mmmmm, Sugar Drop, you’re keeping me in suspense.” Tyrese chuckled, searching her smile and stretching his arms along the rests to his left and right. Him celebrate? This was a him thing? She wasn’t going to say something like today was their ‘so and so month’ of being together or La Mer being open, was she? He wasn’t that type of celebrator, but so long as no other anniversaries involved him getting hit by a car at the end of it, then fine. The bar owner seemed to think he should be keeping track of something, but the wolf’s face wouldn’t go blank until she said what. No, he hadn’t kept count; some days were too hard pressed to even try. It wasn’t like the lack of sleep he was getting, or the weight he was dropping, or the late night crying he was doing was unnoticeable. Rather, as Lillian’s funeral approached and Finn showed himself, the conversation he was dreading had driven itself forward whether he was ready for it or not. Everything had come out then, everything but the story of the razor blade he’d been using to send his blood down her bathroom drain. He had sworn off more than just alcohol.
Tyrese roved his fingers over the healing tattoo on his wrist, silent and staring thoughtfully into nothing until the brown orbed female went on. He was drawn back to the present, unexpectedly bursting into loud, robust laughter as he pushed off the floor enough to escape her reach, barely. ”Saucy?!” He almost roared at that, lifting the back of his hand to his mouth. ”Madam, why I never!” He shook his head again and again, denying he’d ever broken his streak without her knowing. ”What, am I going to have the bloody thing strapped to the side of my leg like it’s some hidden knife?” Tyrese snickered, eyes pressed shut as he reclined in his seat. Once more he was silent, opening his stare to the ceiling as Aubrey ended with a small jump of her arms. ”I think you should be next, send you to AA- You’re hardcore.” It emerged a quiet, steady rumble, hints of humor flitting away on the currents of air. She was proud of him, which seemed like words he rarely heard outside of family, much less lent himself after achieving even the hardest accomplishments. Tyrese rocked himself slowly, exhaling the hard lump in his throat. ”Thank you.”
Two weeks, hm? He marveled at this, but only mildly so. It didn’t feel like something he’d celebrate just yet. ”I quit smoking. I was going to surprise you with it, just...” Tyrese blew his bangs, folding his arms over his abdomen and eyeing the curely brunette. He had been ln a streak of trying and failing in concerns with that, it had seemed better to keep it under wraps until he could say it with an assurity. The pack had been in the garbage the same day as the bottles and the blade. ”My mother used to smoke and drink too. She’d quit for a while, but only ever until things got hard again- you know?” Though, maybe not. Her parents were...honestly, so wonderful, and he adored Julia. ”The first time she quit was after breaking an empty beer bottle over my head. I was...a year older than Sela.” His brow furrowed, not at the memory but at the similarities he saw between himself and her. Smoking and drinking because he had no coping mechanisms, but rather then hurting his child, he’d hurt himself like she had. ”I cant believe I was repeating her same cycle.” Tyrese grumbled, jaw taunt and head shaking. As happy as Aubrey’s praise made him, it was scary the more he lingered on it. What if it didn’t take, if he fell back to his old ways when the next hardship came along? ”I don’t know...Maybe we’re celebrating too early?”

Rylee stood outside the door to Tyrese's office and reached her hand up to play with her hair only to remember that there was nothing to grasp. Frowning a little bit, the tealette lifted her hand higher. Her hair... her beautiful hair. It was gone... Chopped off into a short bob. Going two weeks without properly brushing or washing her hair had left it damaged and just way too tangled to fix on her own, so the water elemental did the only thing she could think of. She stood in the bathroom and used her pocket knife to chop it all off. It hasn't been this short since Alex put gum in it when they were kids. Thinking of Alex made the young woman frown even more. She hadn't seen or spoken to him since his parents dinner. Any texts from him were ignored. How many did she have in her inbox now... she didn't even want to look. She didn't want to be reminded of him. Brushing her fingers through the short locks, the woman sighed. After she had seen the pile of hair on the floor she was horrified with what she had done and her hair didn't look the best either, thankfully the hair salon was able to fit her in and fix it up for her. It was very odd not having her long hair. She almost felt naked without it.
A solid 30 seconds after stopping in front of the door, Rylee would finally knock. Giving two short raps on the door, she waited for Ty to tell her to enter before slowly opening the door. How long has it been since she's even spoken to Ty? She ran past him after the dinner party, but after that she kept herself locked up in her room. Her new hair cut wasn't the only difference about her, her eyes didn't have the same happy sparkle and the dark circles under them didn't help either. She had tried to cover it up with make-up but all it did was made her look like she'd gone a couple days of sobbing and no sleep rather than two weeks.
She was done with that though... that's why she was there. She couldn't just sit around in that room anymore. She was only making herself feel worse. She already had little crescent shaped scars on her palms from digging her nails in and 2 small cuts that were still healing on her left wrist. If she didn't try to distract herself from her grief, she feared she was going to do something she would regret. "H-Hey Ty... are you busy?" She asked softly. Ty was the only friend she had right now... other than her father... and Pepper.──────────────────────────────────Profile ┃ Here tab Relationship Status ┃ Married tab Outfit ┃ Barely trying tab ooc ┃ -

  ✗ w/ Rylee ┋✗ In the Office ┋ ✗ Wearing: TBH ┋ ✗ Status
Tyrese hadn't anticipated needing to come into the office today, not aside from a quick stop in to help Sara make arrangements for any guests who planned on being at the bar today. This mostly meant booking drivers and the occasional baby sitter, if those parents preferred that over any other family activity. He couldn't blame them, that would have probably been his choice too- mostly because it would mean getting to spend time with Aubrey and let loose during an otherwise overworked business week. However, given that he was only two weeks sober, he decided not to test his resolve nor his strength to resist the dryness in the back of his throat that could only be quenched by a stiff drink- Aubrey's kidding jokes aside, he'd rather quit drinking all together if he couldn't learn moderation, which, given his lack of stress management skills, he doubted he could. He was digressing regardless, today would be a quiet day and he let the teenage blonde have it off, letting her know he'd take his laptop to book rooms and forward calls should any come in.
For that reason, he was in his office getting said laptop and opening packages from the post when a knock came at his door, sniffing and wiping his brow, the writer wondered who would possibly- "Come in." He would keep the thing open when no one was meeting with him, but the thought of the random or unwanted people who could simply wonder in- No thank you, especially on days he had Sela with him. Half concerned about who this could currently be, he recognized the teal colored hair and nothing else, stuck staring with faltering recognition until the manager spoke up. "Oh, Rylee! H-Hey! No, no, I'm not busy at all. You cut your hair." He'd barely seen hide or hair of her since she initially walked into his office two weeks ago, and as much as that had worried him he didn't attempt more than to have room service leave a meal at the door for her. This was different, certainly even if she did look otherwise...stressed. He knew all about that. "How are you feeling?"[/color
