The barrel of hay had a certain familiarity to it, and Soren picked it up with a certain sense of glee before heading toward the drop zone.

He was so cheerful about his barrel of hay that Soren missed the monster barreling toward him until it was almost too late. It almost took his arm off in the process, the hay discarded by the wayside, and he was moving back to collect something new while nursing his arm.

Soren managed to heave his barrel over the side perfectly. It dropped down onto the bridge, landing squarely in the center, and when he stepped back he noticed Sir Percival looking at him approvingly for the first time.

Jason stretched his back out, feeling a little cramped after picking up all those items. Though he figured they must of been making good head way right? As he looked around for more stuff, he spotted Yuki nearby.
He beamed at the sight of him, and was about to go over and say hello when he saw a large shadow loom over him. Turning around, the knight in training looked at the massive tar dripping dragon that was reaching over the wall.
And promptly screamed.
While he knew he was making a fool of himself, he couldn't help as it was a giant dragon and it was too close for comfort, and he just knew it was going to eat him.
"AHHHHH! YUKI! YUKI! HALP, HALP!" He could hear Percival shouting instructions, but the only thing he did was to swing his sword wildly about in the direction of the dragon, smacking it with everything he had and just shrieking his head off in the process.
Somehow his reckless attack managed to dislodge some of the scales, and it was only the timely arrival of Percival that kept him from being flattened. He was pushed out of the way, and he then stumbled over to the other apprentice, white as a ghost and looking like he was about to faint.
