"Not guilty of course!" Riko proclaimed loudly and proudly, raising her chin with pride and smiling wide enough to be seen. Shiva seemed to find this amusing as well, she probably figured the vampire just wanted to go down with a brave face on so she wouldn't look weak in her end, but Riko had no such thoughts in her head. This smile was genuine. She could almost feel Siobahn's disapproval for what Riko was about to do, but she didn't care. "Not guilty. Reason?""I didn't try and kill anyone your honor. Rikl said the last part very sarcastically. "I was just trying to blind some furry b***h that was trying to hunt down me and my family, and I will take pride in the fact that it seems I've done a great job, wouldn't you agree?" Riko snorted looking away. "As for kidnapping, the child is mine, I found her abandoned in an alley, so someone obviously didn't want her! Or maybe, they just wanted to keep her away from you. I think that's more likely than likely, knowing what I know about you, you're just an over stuffed ego in a bi-" It took a second for Riko too figure out why she was suddenly facing the side, and why she could taste blood in her mouth. She had been slapped, hard. She licked her split lip, and split the excess blood and saliva from her mouth, before turning back forward, and twisting her neck a little bit. "Guilty." Shiva determined. Riko grinned.

Although Riko's long-winded answer had bought them some time, it had done nothing to change Shiva's mind--not that anything would at this point. It also hadn't given Mercy enough opportunity to find a way out of this, to find an escape route. For the first time in her life, Mercy found herself at death's door without even a sliver of a plan. And when Shiva clapped her hands together, she knew it was all over.
"Well, then, I find you all guilty of your respective crimes," she announced. Then she grew louder, partially addressing the crowd as she circled the prisoners and opened her arms. "Mercy and Riko, I hereby sentence you both to death!" No surprise there. Eyeing Siobahn and Delorna, she said, "I was going to let both of you walk with a... warning"--cue sadistic smile--"but I've had a change of heart. Death sentences for the two of you, too."[i/]
After signaling with her hand, someone stepped over with a small box. She opened it and pulled out a gun that was without a doubt carrying silver bullets. "I was going to save you two for last," she addessed Riko and Mercy, "but I'm just too excited. I can't wait that long." Holding the gun with a steady hand, she walked around Mercy, standing behind her, and pressed the barrel of the gun into Mercy's skull. "Any last words, Mercy?"
Mercy's initial reaction was to jerk away from the gun, but she couldn't escape it. This was it. This was ******** it. Shiva was going to kill her, and then she was going to kill Riko, and then Siobahn and Delorna. And Elle was going to live in Shiva's clutches. ********. This was the absolute worsresponsible--at least for a lot of it. Mercy drew in a shaky breath and let it out slowly, then closed her eyes. "I'm sorry," she whispered, to Riko, to Siobahn, to Elle, to Delorna.
Two things happened then: a loud commotion was heard from outside, startling all that were in the room--including Shiva--and the gun went off. Into Mercy's back. The noise, surprising Shiva, jarred her focus just as she pulled the gun's trigger, causing her to miss her mark. It was a good thing... but ********, it wasn't a great thing.
"Son of a... b***h..." Mercy gasped and curled over in pain.
Shiva scowled and turned her attention to the doorway. "Stay here." She left to investigate, and another commotion rose from outside. Yelling, gunfire. A whole fight.
Mercy, eyes clenched shut as she tried to swear her way through the pain, opened her eyes to find a young face crouched over to look at her. Mercy frowned, confused. "H-Harry?"

"Well I'll be damned." Riko said as she shifted around to get a better look at their saviors face. "You know for someone who was afraid of a tiny wolf pup, you sure did show some major balls by walking in to a den of larger, bitchier wolves....and Mercy." Riko said nodding to her wounded partner. The girl was lucky to be alive, though she would bet that Mercy didn't feel too lucky with that hole in her back, the silver might already be screwing with her. Taking the freedom she had, Riko pulled her arms apart, ripping the plastic zip ties with ease, and then placing a hand on Mercy's back around the wound, she rolled the wolf on her side, and felt around her stomach, and chest, searching for an exit wound, but finding none. "Won't be healing til I get that bullet out of you, and that's gonna make it harder to move. So the question is, do you want to bite down on something. Or not?"

The silver was indeed already reacting to the werewolf blood, causing the wound to begin to fester and seer with pain. Mercy groaned when Riko turned her on her side. "Can that... something be... your arm?" she asked sarcastically through gritted teeth. As Mercy finally realized that Riko had just broken herself free, she muttered, "Why the ********... didn't you do that before... I got shot?"
Meanwhile, many of the werewolves in the room had fled, their allegiances to Shiva not strong to withstand this test. Outside of the room, a battle raged on between the reinforcements Harry had gathered--the remaining men and women Siobahn had gathered together to protect Elle and Riko earlier--and Shiva and her few loyal packmates. A few allies ran into the room to untie Siobahn and Delorna.

"Sure you can bite my arm, as long as I get to bite yours again later." Riko teased, if Mercy was well enough to be sarcastic and complain, maybe this wound wasn't as bad as Riko had initially thought it was, but that didn't mean it was a good idea to let the bullet stay where it was. She could tell Mercy was in some serious pain. "Here." Riko said as she offered her arm, she pushed it to Mercy's lips, she didn't waste much time not allowing the wolf to try and talk her out of it as she pressed her hand into the wound, hoping she could dig the bullet out with only the use of a single hand. "uuuhh.. I can't...nnn... GOT IT!" Riko declared, as she fished, trying to grip it with her two fingers, it took her a moment longer but she managed to pull it free, dropping the shell to the floor. "No Bandages, or lolipops kid, you're just gonna have to suck it up."

Oh, well, Mercy hadn't expected Riko to actually offer her arm, and she seemed so serious about it. Maybe, just maybe--
Mercy screamed as Riko dug two fingers into the wound. Holy ********>, that hurt. Mercy, without thinking twice, bit into Riko's arm. She was trying to focus on something other than the pain, but nothing was working, and it didn't help that she could taste Riko's blood in her mouth. She felt like every bone and muscle in her body was being twisted mercilessly and set on fire. And, ********, did Riko sure seem to be taking her sweet time. Grunts and shouts broke through Mercy's teeth as Riko continued her search for the bullet. Just as Mercy felt like she was going to pass out, Riko found the bullet and removed it. Mercy, exhausted, groaned and released Riko's arm. With the silver gone, the wound ceased to fester, but the damage remained.
Mercy slowly tried to rise to her feet, but ended up falling into Riko as neausea and pain took hold. Gripping onto the vampire, she attempted the feat a second time and managed to remain unsteadily upright. "We need to figure out... where they're keeping Elle," she said to Riko, wondering if Shiva would have information like that written down somewhere. Probably not. An interrogation could also work.

"You say we, but your more unstable now then you were when you downed that entire bottle of liquor." Riko commented, wrapping an arm around Mercy to support the girls weight, she looked very much like she was one minute from meeting the ground for a very painful reintroduction, and she didn't think they need a concussion added to their list of issues. "Also I doubt she's being kept here, we would need to ask one of the wolves and I think the queen b***h would be our best bet. Though, again, unless Harry's mini army can bring her in, I don't know if we can do it this instant. We just need a little time."

"Excuse you, Riko," Mercy retorted, her voice strained. "I was perfectly stable then, and I'm... perfectly stable now." She looked around, gauging their new situation. "I don't know if we... have time," Mercy said, frowning. "Whoever's got Elle might know something's up and take her farther away." Harry's mini-army was clearly winning now that Shiva's forces had dwindled so significantly. Many of the werewolves had already fled, but those who were caught were shoved into the same cells that had held Riko, Siobahn, Delorna, and Mercy. "Let me interrogate 'em. All I need to do is... sit in a chair." As another wave of pain rolled over her, Mercy tensed and cringed, but she was managing a little better now. At least, better than when Riko was digging her fingers into the wound. She couldn't tell if she was starting to feel better, or if she was starting to lose feeling in her back.

"Just a chair huh?" Riko snorted skeptically but shrugged "Alright fine, we'll get you a chair and get you to a cell, though I doubt your threats will come off as much seeing as you are about to hit the ground at any minute." Riko sighed, but she moved, dragging Mercy to the holding blocks. She knew in the wolf's situation she'd probably not listen to much reason anyway, though she swore she had always been very reasonable in the past. She didn't see any chairs, but there were crates lining the walls, that would have to do, Riko pushed one of the doors open with a key she was given and set the crate down, and then she helped Mercy get her wounded a** on top of the crate, and then she stood back near the door, giving Mercy a little privacy with her prisoner.

The first step, especially since she hadn't really been walking with Riko, was excruciating, and Mercy hissed. "W-Wait--" But it was too late. Riko was going to make Mercy see this through, even if it killed her. Vampires.
Mercy stared down the prisoner across from her, a young man she didn't recognize. Must have been a newer member of Shiva's pack, or maybe one of the visiting werewolves. Mercy gripped the table a little to manage the pain, but she tried to pass the action off as an intimidation tactic. Yeah, this would work. Mercy had watched enough Law and Order to pull off a successful interrogation. Channel Olivia Bennett, channel Olivia Bennett... And yet, the prisoner wasn't buying it. His eyes were glued to the floor just behind Mercy's chair, where a small pool of blood was gathering.
"Shouldn't you get that--" he started to say, but was cut off by Mercy's blunt question.
"What's your name, kid?"
"...Dave."
"Okay, Dave," Mercy said, leaning in toward him. "Where's Elle?"
Dave shut down and took the defensive, crossing his arms and sneering at her. "Wouldn't you like to know."
"Yeah, I would. That's why we're ******** here, Dave."
"Well, I'm not telling you," he said definitively, holding Mercy's gaze, challenging her. "She belongs with us, with her tribe. We'll raise her in the old ways, as it should be."
Mercy stared at him for a few seconds longer, then, without warnin, leapt across the table and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt. "Look here, you little punk-assed sissy, you'll tell me where my kid is, or I'll shove this ******** table down your..." Woah, hold up. Was it just her, or was the room spinning?

Riko saw that things weren't exactly going the way they were planned and not only that, but Mercy wasn't looking so hot. Riko swore she had never seen the wolf look so pale. Sighing Riko pushed herself away from the wall, and stepped passed Mercy rolling her shoulders as she approached the kid. "Look her Davey, I know you see that Mercy doesn't look to good, but don't take that as weakness, she's sick alright, but not in the way you think, she's got anger issues, and right now it looks like she's gonna explode, and guess who's the only enemy in this room?" Riko questioned, stepping right to the boys side. "But that's not the worst of it." Riko said as she gripped the boys hand, taking his index and snapping it.... right off of his hand. "No one, <********> with my family. You are going to apologize to Mercy, and then you are going to tell her what she wants to hear, or.." Riko gripped the boy by his ear lobe. "Next I'm ripping off your ears, and then your eyes, and then Ima hook my finger in those wide ******** nostrils of yours, and I'm going to peel the face from your skull, and then after that, out with your tongue, and then I'm going to move on to your friends."

Mercy was caught off-guard by Riko's threat: no one messed with her family. Her family. And it almost sounded like Mercy was included. Mercy, in her vulnerable state, was even more taken aback when Riko snapped the man's finger off of his hand, and she lurched and looked to the side to avoid throwing up.
The man, meanwhile, stared at his hand in shock, then began screaming. Trembling, he looked at Mercy and stuttered out an apology, then said, terrified, "I-I don't know e-exactly where. I've never been there. But Shiva had s-s-s-said, she's where it a-a-all started."

"You better get more specific with me right ******** now or I swear to god this ear is leaving this building with me!" Riko snarled. She didn't know that the boy meant by "where it all began." Riko had just picked Elle up in some random alley way outside of a night club, and she was pretty damn sure that Shiva would not take the little girl back there.

Dave squeaked and pressed himself to the back of his chair, as if doing so would somehow help him avoid Riko's wrath. "P-Please, I don't know anything more!" He was holding his bloody hand, tears welling in his eyes.
"I know," Mercy spoke up, looking at Riko. "I know where she is. The Den. It's in a forest a few hours from here." Mercy was going to say more, but she paled again, and she held her head to stop the room from spinning. "Dave," she said without looking at him and pointing a finger at him. "Give me your shirt, and give her your pants."
Dave was clearly confused. "W-What? You can't be--"
Mercy finally lifted her eyes and focused her attention on his right ear. "I've heard asymmetrical faces are in these days, haven't you, Dave?" And that was all it took. Dave one-handedly pulled off his clothes and ran out of the room, only to end up in the custody of one of Harry's allies. Mercy took the shirt Dave had left and started tearing it into one long bandage. The pants were for Riko, should she want them temporarily. The state Mercy had seen her in--saw her in--still troubled her deeply. What the hell had those bastards done to her? Maybe Riko would tell her eventually, when she had distanced herself from it some; or maybe Mercy would never know.
"So, I'm part of your family, am I?" She wasn't really teasing. Just asking.

"Me and you are raising a child together aren't we? What would you have me call you?" Riko asked with a shrug, shaking her head. "But that isn't important right now. Tell me more about this Den, is there anything else that is actually special about it, I would hate to find out they aren't going to perform some kind of bullshit ritual that I need to be looking out for are they?" Riko asked, not exactly joking, she didn't know what to expect, not with the way things were going, stranger things have happened.
