Though she'd tensed as Jeong-jae put his hand at her back, Larisa still followed his instructions, eager to get this over and done with. She straightened and pinched her nose and looked at him and- Augh, was he laughing at her? Larisa wasn't generally one to get angry, not at all, because she'd always worked off her negative emotions and kept on going. But the only work that needed doing right now was this class and suddenly she felt like her partner had been sabotaging her every step of the way. A normal tree supported tent hadn't been good enough for him, and now she was wet and cold and dirty. He was just standing there laughing like an idiot instead of helping to finish the first aid part.
So yes, Larisa decided, she was angry. "Why won't you take this seriously!?" Her hands shot out and at first she wasn't even sure what it was she intended to do. Shove him away, cover his mouth to stop the laugh, she didn't know. But what quickly became evident instead was what she'd actually done, because what she'd done instead of either of those acceptable options was punch him. Anger gave way to horror the moment she felt the hit go through and she gasped.
"Oh, oh no, I'm so sorry! I've been practicing the hand to hand combat and I wasn't thinking and oh no you're bleeding! I'm so sorry, I-" She moved again, hurriedly, to urge him to lean forward. "Here, like this, we can make it stop, I'm sorry, just um, pinch it like this and it'll-" She cut off midsentence, fretting over his bloody nose, and hoped he wouldn't hate her for this.

His partner took in a deep breath before proceeding to hop around flapping open hands in the air with the most lackluster 'cry' of pain he'd ever heard. Eventually she seemed to give up on the embarrassing performance and settle down in the grass, pointedly not making eye contact with him. Her gaze was up in the clouds, far away from the awkward happenings down below on the earth.
He couldn't hold it together. He had to turn away and cover his mouth with a hand to stifle the laughter. It came from a friendly place, nothing mean, as the sight had just been too silly, too cute.
"Relax, I've got you. I'll take care of you." He spoke firmly, trying to calm his patient down, as he padded her leg with his shirt. It was still kind of damp but no longer soaking wet and he hoped this wouldn't bother her too much. Securing the splint on, he wondered what she was thinking as her eyes searched the sky endlessly. She looked far from peaceful in the grass but still gave off a daydreamy quality while she waited. Using an extra rope from their shelter supplies, he began to wrap it around her leg to bind it all together.
"You look suspicious of me." He leaned over her once the work was completed, invading her personal space a bit without realizing it. A hand rested on the ground next to her head to prop himself above her with a sly smile. "Maybe I'll do something to deserve it." His voice was low and warm and his eyes locked with hers in a flirtatious manner as he moved closer in. He couldn't help it, teasing her was just so fun because of her flustered reactions! She sort of stammered as fair lips dipped down towards her copper ones before her knee jerked up instinctively to escape. White hot pain flashed through his loins and before his eyes.
"N-nice comeback."

"Hmm," he said spaceily. "I'm not really one for books, although my best friend friend back home is! He's a great guy, Stephen is, although he's not very sweet... Oh, I am from Wall Rose! All of the walls are such nice places, really big, so beautiful. I love the walls." His eyes misted over a second before he grinned and hoisted the tarp over their rope. It kind of hung there limply, like unpinned tarps were wont to do. Taking out the nails from earlier, he scoured the ground for a rock and began hammering the tarp into the tree. It appeared as though they had at least gotten the length right; the trailing edge of the tarp folded just slightly on the ground.
"You know, Lil, if I did stare, I'm sorry, but people are surely only staring because they're mesmerizing! They really are- you look like a beautiful porcelain doll!" With one last huff and a banged thumb, the tarp was secure. "Hmmm, we're dislocated shoulders, right? Do you want to bandage up my arm right and proper? I think you'd make a good nurse. We can even do it inside our cozy tent!" Alister winked and promptly tripped his way headfirst into the tent and spread the bedroll. The ground just wouldn't do for a lady, he thought. He looked up at her, green eyes gleaming expectantly.
"Come on!" He patted the spot next to him.

The following moment was like a flurry of seconds whirled into one. Shakuntala had been lost to the company of herself and, despite having detached herself from the contact on her limb to ease her uncomfortableness, Hwan upped the ante tenfold. It took the copper-skinned girl a second to register that this was heading in a dangerous direction. A very, very dangerous one. All functions in her body gave out for a second as the male eased himself closer to her, purring a slew of words as if he were a serpent coaxing the last moments of his meal to remain calm.
"I, um, I-I... Uh... Um..."
As the inches between them fell to centimeters, Shakuntala felt that horrid brush of scarlet brighten her cheeks with his nearing. She wasn't sure how she should retaliate in a way that would stop this moment before anything came to fruition. She had very little time, though; Hwan seemed ready to snag her lips with her own in a manner of seconds. So Shakuntala fought back the best way she could. She jerked her knee up. Hard. The trainee hadn't done it to essentially ram it into the male's groin, it was just a matter of, well, bad luck on Hwan's end. Shakuntala was actually trying to kick herself away from him and, when he buckled over in pain and complimented her aim, she was about two feet away with her eyes widened to the whites.
Shakuntala stared in astonishment to her knee and suddenly felt a shiver pass through her form. That was the first, and with high hopes, the last time she ever wished one of her body parts to be close to what was between another person's legs -- male or female. Watching her work partner, she bit her bottom lip and waited for him to ease up from his pain on his own. Despite the guilt on her end, she wasn't willing to ask him if he was alright. In truth, Shakuntala believed he deserved it.

I suck at first aid omg bear with me
With the tarp finally raised, at least one of their tasks was done. She still wasn't sure if it was stable or not, but she decided for once in her life to be optimistic.
"A doll?" She wasn't quite sure how to take that. Then again, she did like dolls. She had a few of them in her lifetime propped up on shelves. "I don't. Get people. Or take compliments well. But I suppose.. thank you." Her voice was lowered. She shook her head a bit, sighing. She really didn't get people, and him being so cheerful was so unlike the strangers she was used to. She knew how to get rid of people that were annoying, but this was someone she had to work with.. and he wasn't "that" annoying. Yet.
She followed his motion for her to sit, taking a seat slowly onto the bedroll. "A nurse, not likely. But I have read a few first aid books in the past." She eyed the crate with their supplies then slowly reached for them. There was a large piece of cloth simply in the box. "Well that could be used to make an arm sling. All you really need is a sturdy piece of cloth.... We can't let your arm hang loose if it's dislocated." She fiddled with the cloth for a bit, then motioned to Alister. "We need to shape this up like a triangle first.. "She went quiet, and slowly started folding up the cloth. "This will go over your arm, then around your neck for support."

Alister watched her, a rapt expression on his face. It seemed very practical the things she said. But... if his arm were dislocated, could he even move it at all? "I think... if my arm were dislocated, I could not move it. So you must put the sling on me!"
"I'm all yours, nurse! Please be gentle; I could break." He let his left arm fall loosely against his side and waited.

"Correct. I will have to put the sling on you. Just..don't move around too much." She quirked a brow at him for the breaking comment, even if slightly amused. " The cloth was folded diagonally into a triangle, she just had to secure it around his arm. Taking his arm carefully, she put the cloth around it, before slipping one end of the cloth around his shoulder. She then pulled the other end over the opposite shoulder, then taking it around his neck to tie securely. "Ok... just remember to maintain good posture with your sling, keep your back straight. That should tide you over till you see a "doctor"."
Were they done for now? The shelter was put up, and Alister's arm was propped up to the best of her capabilities. She looked around for their instructor, and motioned for her to come over.

Building shelter... that was something quite simple for Mykanos. Growing up in the mountains, and being a hunter, one had to be able to create shelter should you get stranded up there in a rough storm, or had to stay over night for what ever reason. Looking to each of his teammates, a mild nod of acknowledgement was given, before he turned his attention solely to the supplies they'd been given. Much better than what he'd had to work with back home. This would be quite nice. He didn't waste time, and got to it, setting up the tarp appropriately, with the rope wrapped around a shoulder. He maneuvered about, propping, tugging, fitting, and securing with the wound braid of line they had. Standing back, he inspected the tent from each angle, making sure there wasn't any chance for leakage to be found along the tops, or any weak spots that could bow over the entire thing from a simple breeze running by.
Satisfied enough, he looked to the girl who'd spoken up a few times, but whom he never answered. Staring at her blankly, void of emotions as always, he bypassed the introductions as usual, "I think this is done." he concluded. Next was first aid. He was deemed a concussion... hm. Probably a wrap along the head, and a cold compress? Looking to his partners, holding the small first aid kit that he'd been supplied with, his expression held a "want to do this?" sort of gesture.
{ sorry for my slow, guys! got super busy all of a sudden, this past week. <3 }

Erevette had yet another pair of unsuspecting trainees to attend too. Like usual she moved to test the stability of their shelter. Clearly they were more worried about the first aid..and much to her amusement the woman laughed shaking her head when the poor shelter collapsed she looked between them. "Well..good job on the arm. However, you guys knocked out a mountain seems between ya, make sure you focus on one task at a time might have helped " The green haired woman looked thoughtful, crouching down before the fallen structure. "Pity looks like it woulda held up the rain too hm."Next time max sure ya double knot your ropes." She showed both a few little tricks, before humming happily. Even if she'd destroyed their shelter, it was still a chance teach. It didn't help they'd both had a sense of humor all the while based on what she'd over heard.

He hadn't seen that one coming!
"Hng!" A pop in the face and he was bleeding, who would've believed it was because of Larisa? Startled, he could only clutch his nose in response at first, not sure how to reply to her moment of anger. The punch hadn't been the most powerful hit he'd ever taken but it'd been aimed perfectly for a snap judgement. If she could do that by accident what could she do on purpose?
"..." Someone had finally made a twin shut up. Allowing her to lean him forward, Jeong stayed silent and appeared to be thinking. He let her ramble for a bit, as Larisa was prone to doing, and waited for her to finish. She seemed to become nervous from his silence and fell quiet as well. Pinching his nose, he waited for the bleeding to stop and for the tingle in his nose to fade. It didn't hurt too bad but had been a decent enough hit to linger for a few minutes. Once he'd recovered (and spent a little time choosing his words while he waited) Jeong tilted his head back and dabbed at his nose to test if it was done.
"I guess that's one way to make it serious!" Instead of turning to look at her with hateful eyes, Jeong's face eased into a teasing grin as he wiped the rest of the blood off his face. It had obviously been an accident now that she'd practically cried an apology so there was no point in yelling at her. Also it'd slightly been his fault for pissing her off. He'd claim he hadn't been trying to do it purposefully but Jeong knew sometimes he pushed a few buttons if he thought he could get away with it. This time he hadn't.
"Well now seems like a good time to wash up. Let's go." Pushing up from the ground, he nodded to her from over his shoulder and headed towards the barrel of water that Ervette had been draining from. On the way there, he made sure to stop by Hwan and Shakuntala's site to spook them with their muddy and bloody appearances.

No need to reply if you're done for the class, just thought it was something Jeong would do.

Hazel stared at the boy as he silently put together the shelter, he made it seem so easy. It definitely seemed like it could stay secure during a rain storm. The young woman looked back the instructor, it now seemed that they had to build the shelters on their own. With a deep breath she followed the movements that the young man had done. She tied the rope around a tree, making sure the knot was secure, and then she stretched the tarp over the rope, then secured the tarp to the tree as well. It did not look as nice as the silent man’s, but it should hold up to a rain storm.
She then turned her gaze from her creation to the first aid kit, her eyes brightened as she saw the supplies, now it was time for her to show her stuff. Hazel was not sure if it would be okay for them to work together, but she really wanted to show what she knew. The medical apprentice grabbed the first aid kit from the arms of the man, “Okay, you will be the one with the concussion.” She indicated one of the other boys standing behind her, “You need to lie down on the ground. It is best for those with concussions to stop activity and rest. A cold compress to the head will help with the swelling.” Hazel gave a slight frown, since they were just pretending it would not matter if it was cold or not. She placed a folded towel on the forehead of the patient. “There is not much else you can do for concussions, you can give them some pain killers, but time is really the only cure.”
Her eyes sparkled, now she was having fun. “Now, I think it is your turn. Want to concussion or something in the eye or wrap a wrist?” She spoke to the group as she dug into the kit. The gauze was soft against her fingers, and the brown bandages were rolled tight, which caused a memory to surface: It was of the doctor and the first time he showed her how to wrap a sprained wrist. Quietly, surrounded by the boys, she began to wrap her wrist as he showed her. She immobilized the wrist wrapping from the base of the fingers to the forearm. She then wrapped the bandage twice over the knuckles to anchor it, then continued downward, overlapping the bandage partially and leaving room for the thumb. She reduced wrist motion by wrapping from below the wrist and then wrapped the bandage around the forearm to anchor it. Her movements continued until finally her wrist was securely wrapped in the brown bandage. Hazel tried to flex and extend her wrist, but it could barely move. A smile played upon her lips, the doctor would be proud of her.

Lip raised a brow at the other's threat, "Oh?Are you planning to kick my ankles? If so, keep in mind I will not hesitate to punch you several times and then to prove I know how to do this tedious s**t.... I will use first aid on your bleeding half-corpse." He growled as his eyes narrowed. "Heh, and not knowing basic survival skills is pathetic... which makes you, Alec Scott, pathetic." He mocked more... wondering just how much he could push the other. Phillip messed a bit more with the shelter, tightening the knots and arranging the sleeping bags. His mind quickly came up with more insults but he quickly quieted up when the instructor came over, moving to sit in their shelter.
Feeling proud that no water at all landed on him, Lip nodded to the instructor as she told them that they were good to go and to head to the first aid area. After sighing, Lip looked over to Alec... "This will be too easy for me... ridiculously so.. and you will probably hold me back, fantastic." He said sarcastically as he leisurely made his way to the first aid spot. The first aid section was going to be a breeze for the auburn haired boy... being a doctor and all certainly helps. Lip wouldn't admit it but it was nice to do something he knew... and was used to... not riding a damn bipolar horse!
Lip said nothing to Alec as they walked to the First aid spot... He was too busy in thought; wondering if Chris was okay... if anyone needed to be beaten to a bloody pulp for picking on him. He wished if the other signed up... that it would have been sooner so that they could have had class together. Phillip sighed.... more of a sad sigh. He then looked over to the first aid material then to Alec, "So what am I expected to do?" He grumbled.
Alec really could have done without the others constant teasing it was beginning to grind on his nerves. What in the Walls was this guy's problem even? Narrowing his light blue gaze on the auburn haired taller male he sighed at him. It really didn't feel good being told you were pathetic; he had enough of that as a kid from his step dad. "You Phillip Prezlocki are a class A jerk as I said. So there's that."He rolled his eyes at the other crouching down to the first aid kid rummaging around with a bit more force than intended.
The reality was he could have been just as foul and sour tempered as the older male, but instead of getting overtly butt hurt over the situation Alec simply shook his head at him before adding a grunt at Lip. Alec followed up with a shrug at his question about what they had to do. "Ervette had said broken arm, so I guess that means we are bandaging one up? Would you mind showing me how it's done right and I'll try it on your arm? You said you had training right...I don't think I'd know where to begin." Clearly he was questioning whether or not the other was good at medical know how, it showed in the way he looked at the other. Alec likely should have just..let it go, but the aggressive attitude had him fussing the other back as surely as he did him.

"You have a sister? I kin definitely see her influence, I mean, witcha bein' sooo good wit women n' all." Sarcasm dripped off of her words, but it wasn't overly malicious, this time. The fact that Axel hadn't brought up anything embarrassing was... well, it made Preacher just the tiniest bit less tense. She was still mad at him for refusing Harper, pretty, lovely, girl-next-door Harper. And she didn't really want to think about his whispered words in the tent. "N' I've seen a kid sprain his ankle afore, we jus', uh, left it alone n' hoped it'd heal right up. Iffin ya don't treat it, ya think they'da have ta amputate? I dun think I'd like it without m'ankles." She wriggled her feet experimentally, testing the bandage.
"Alrigh', strip," she commanded, grabbing a roll of gauze and holding it before her like a shield. "Lemme see yer damn ankles, since your walls clumsier than me, it'd be a sight bit more likely be me a-treatin' you."
"My sister thinks I'm stupid too," Axel said. "You would probably get along."
He sat back and kicked off his boot, then stripped off his sock. It wasn't a glamorous pink kitten sock, but at least it was a clean sock. Axel hadn't been expecting to show his feet off to Preacher. Thank goodness for clean socks. Subjecting Preacher to sweaty boot feet would be. Well.
It would be a scene he replayed in his nightmares, he was sure of that.
Offering his ankle to Preacher, Axel considered the amputation thing. It made him kind of queasy to think of anyone's foot being amputated. The thought of amputation period made him queasy and light-headed. "I bet they don't amputate. I bet you just get clumsy if your ankle doesn't heal right. I mean, kids sprain their ankles all the time and you don't see a lot of footless kids, right?"
