Day 2

"It is spelt S-a-o-i-r-s-e, a bit odd for the sound huh?" She responded with a laugh. Oh was that what they had been doing yesterday? She mulled over the two options for a bit, security was important but the costume troupe sounded like fun. The ginger haired girl was unsure of which she should pick. Security was an important responsibility and it was likely that they would need as much help as they could get. This was a festival however and she was here to have fun and costume trope sounded like a lot more fun than working security. In the end the desire to have fun won out, not to mention that she wasn't really familiar with the area and thus would probably be just as lost as the people she was attempting to help if there was a crisis. "I'll join the costume trope!"

Zin patted Lenore's shoulder and gave her a reassuring smile. She looked up at Lloren. "It's good to meet you officially," she said politely before continuing, "I don't know their names, but it was two guys by the canal. It looked like it was being handled when we left, though. I hope that it's all cleared up now."

Day 2



Lloren whistled. "It gets too hot in those costumes for me, I admire your bravery. But it does look pretty fun. Good luck and thank you! You can pick a costume out in the back of the building, there ought to be some reasonable ones left at this time." She pointed a thumb over her shoulder.

[Day 2 Prompts]

Prompt 1:

While Rachel wasn't sure that the song and dance would be considered her 'favorite' like the announcer lady said, she had been planning on trying out for it. The red head looked around at everyone pairing up to dance, or just sitting on the sidelines, then made to pair up herself. In the end the man she paired up to dance with wasn't very familiar to her but that didn't stop her from striking up some idle chit chat while the waited for the music to start.

Once the music did indeed start Rachel found herself having a blast trying to follow along with the instructions as well as match her partner in the tempo. It didn't seem like a long time before the music stopped, at least to her thanks to having fun, and she thanked the man with a grin.

Prompt 2:

When the next 'test' was on strength, Rachel eyed the bags then shrugged. She rolled up her sleeves and grabbed one end over the bag then started to drag it. The bag was indeed quite heavy so in the end the teen wasn't quite able to make it to the finish line.

Prompt 3:

Rachel was glad when that was over and rotated her arms briefly to try and shake some of the tension out. That done, she moved over to Lloren with a grin on her face to find out where she was assigned.

"Likewise," said Lloren, glad to hear the fight was already being taken under control. "Celebrations get people rowdy. Not that I blame them. With this desk job, I'm itching for some... movement, myself. Anyhow, I keep hearing about barfights of late. Trouble at the banquet, trouble at some booths... I hope security will be able to keep the peace during the parade."

Detecting people by the entrance, Lloren leaned back from the seat she'd dropped into and called. "Come on in, we're in here!"

Zinnia nodded. "I'm sure it will go well. Hopefully they'll get a few more volunteers to act as security, though. But the Stationary Guard should be there too..." She shook her head; she didn't want to think about security the day before the celebration. "It's going to be a lot of fun to finally be in the parade, though. All of our efforts will be worth it." She grinned brightly.

Zin turned to look when she heard others back at the entrance. She heard Lloren call and waited for them to come in, curious to know what they wanted.

Day 2

Rachel didn't need more then a few seconds after Lloren read from the list to decide. "I'll join the song and dance please." She said with a smile.
