Roberta cheered a bit until the firework like effect happened raising a brow. "Wow you had a firework with you that was neat. Though I hope that was the last one. Wouldn't want the guards to put you in the races or battles too from disturbing the peace." She said softly.

Sodain waved as his mount trotted happily about then trotted into the cage it was in seeing a lot of fruits in a basket. and there was a tray of food for Sodain as well which he ate on. A guard sneered at him as well. "You got lucky that that was the beginner level combat. next time you fight will be the advanced level." Sodain shrugged. "We will win that one too, I used to be a great tactician and grand weapons master in battle." Sodain said as if it was a known fact.

Roberta giggled a bit. "Well if you shoot off fireworks like that too much it could spook the mounts and effect the results of the races or battles. It happened once before." Roberta said giggling. "ended up no one won the battle from the distraction everyone ran into each other and no one was left standing."

Niados looked to Arosa. "Yeah 5 wins and you get your choice of reward even freedom. but if you pick anything else like money you have to win 5 more to get another pick. Or thats what I heard the manager explain to a new guard." Niados said softly.

Sodain was about a third into his meal when another event began and he was in it with the same mount. "Next round for you unlucky for you." The guards said dragging Sodain and his mount away from the food and shoved them into a stall to be located around the arena for another combat. Sodain frowned a bit at it being so soon.

Roberta blinked a bit. "Oh no some prisoners don't get to participate, also people can enter without being in prison."

Niados nods "Oh yes i'm ready to win."

Sodain and his mount made quick work of their next battle winning and Sodain glared at the guard who was shocked.

"Yes you see that name in green for the next race? thats a cicilian, names in green are civilians." Roberta said.

"I just want to get out as soon as possible report to the master, and get proper tools to come back and then we can gamble or what not." Niados said sighing.

Sodain returned to the cage finishing his food before its all cold. "well just 3 more wins, I wonder if we are going to just be in combat races."

The Arclight gestured and had a screen float to her. Reviewing it shook their head. "She is using a device of science, having like a necklace that can perform some features, if you look at her shirt at the time a faint pink glow radiates under it looking to be part of a necklace. She is permitted. have the guards ignore her unless she uses it to deliberately cause trouble." the Arclight said in a voice that sounded robotic.

Roberta thought about it. "depends on the prize awarded to civilians and race type. but usually they win not getting taxed for the year."

Niados smirks. "I smell a speed race coming." He said hiding more fruit for later then sits at the cell bars.

Sodain felt sore for some reason not really sure why but then his skin felt like it was burning. unaware that someone scratched him in the last fight and it was laced with dragons bane, a substance that is toxic to dragons.

Niados nodded a bit and sighed. "They all probably got speed stones. But next race I will go even faster. we will win the third fore sure." Niados smirked as he mentally spoke to Arosa.

But then a guard came on the announcement. "Alright folks we had lots of fun today but as it is getting late we will close for the day. Resuming tomorrow at 10 in the morning. Please return to your dwellings before curfew hours."

Roberta shrugged, "I haven't tried. So I am not sure." She said getting up moving to a guard that was just and not cruel. "pardon me but is there a chance we might talk to one of the participants?" Roberta asked and looked to Lita waiting to see what the guard says.

Roberta placed her hand on Lita's shoulder comfortingly. "We got really good doctors here, I am sure he will be fine."

A nurse was arguing with a guard. "I don't care if you said the weapons went to be cleaned I need the weapon that was laced with poison I know full well they get cleaned 5 minutes before the matches, as well as sharpened. To treat the poison we need to determine what poison in raw form out of his blood was used." She said lecturing the guard about protocols folding her arms as the guard sighed and went to get the poisoned blade as well as a bottle that had a red dragon skull on the label a sign of dragons bane by those who new how to treat poisons.

"This is the blade and the bottle the man used to coat and polish his sword. According to the interrogation the contestant Hemlock used this to polish his blade. And according to him it is not a poison just an herb extract. Though I am not sure what this stuff is the extract comes form the dragonis banis flower and is not toxic. Or that is what Guard Gravatore stated also tried getting this blade washed off right away. And the contestant that used this swears Gravatore gave it to him." The guard said handing it over.

Sodain was in a white room groggy like breathing labored red splotches all over his body that a few started to blister up. Sodain was soaking in a odd medical device like a tub in hopes to sooth the reaction his skin was having. trying to speak through the mask but getting scolded by the head doctor trying to isolate the toxin in his blood but was unable to, the database could still not identify it not having had dragons bane entered because of belief that dragons all became exstinct thousands of years ago if they existed at all.
