[ Proud Incident ]

**** and Lifen stood in front of their amazing creation. It was an enormous bird, resplendent with glorified feathers and colored clay talons. The entire thing was made of sand, but Lifen had used her potter abilities to make something glorious.

"Y-Your creation is glorious, Miss Lifen!" she declared.

"Our creation."

**** shook her head. "Oh n-no! It was all your doing! I only gathered water and more sand ... y-you did all the work!"

She smiled, wrapping a single arm around the tiny girl. "But without your water and sand, it would not have been possible. It was your effort too."

The tinier one stared in revelation at this idea. "I s-see! Thank you ... for your hardwork and f-for being my partner."

[ Creative Incident ]

She had to think around the problem. No weapon, no way to attack. The shadows were growing, fusing together. It wasn't going to be pretty. There was no way she could fight these by herself.

An idea. Instead of fighting it herself, she would rally the others to fight in her place. There would be no glory in being an errand girl, but the problem would be eliminated. That was what mattered.

She pulled the others from every orifice the horseman lair had to offer. "Please! There are shadows! Wake up!"

They were upon her. She felt power in her chest, and suddenly her bow was at her side. Her creativity was being rewarded. "Tseng! Please! To my side!" He was already on the field, hurling his own arrows. She nodded. They would be victorious.

((Blessing 3/5))

***** had entered the gym, her nerves a little frazzled with a small pool of quilt settling there. She had been brought her to spar but she didn't really know if it was a good idea but Hel had insisted. It was hard to turn the winged reaper down, especially when she knew Hel would come hunting her down even if she refused. And so here she was, nervous but as prepared as she was going to be. Hel, of course, was there with a smile and looking as confident as ever. Mitsu wished she could be more like her. If only...

"Are you ready?" The Valkyrie asked?

"I...I supposed." She wasn't really but she was going to have to be.

[ Sad Incident ]

Two figures sluggishly entered the lair. There was no home to return to. Her mother, father- gone. The entired Zheng household was gone. The servants, the garments, the supplies, the townsfolk, the animals, the people.

Just a bleak nothingness.

The only thing that kept her alive was the hand fiercely wrapped around her brother's. He was still there.

It had been a short errand. They'd gone to the human world for a day to gather rare materials. Horsemen around them told them they were lucky, but **** didn't think so. To live without everyone she loved was pain. Suffering. They were told they were lucky because they were still together. She knew that, and yet the loss ... the loss was so much greater.

She squeezed Jing's hand. They were both standing in front of a tiny tent, neither entering. This was all that was left to the Zheng family name. Neither cried, tears would come later. For now, there was nothing. Absolutely nothing. "I ..." Jing gave her such a pained look that there was nothing more she could say.

[Blessing of the Gifted - Memory 5/6]

*** was running in his pajamas, away from the party, away from his feelings, and away from Gabriel. He had slipped out from Thackery’s party quietly, unnoticed.

He hadn’t wanted to go to the party at all, but Sibyl had asked him and so he went. But he was jealous of Sibyl. He was jealous of the way Gabriel’s face lit up when he saw her, and he was jealous of the way she snuggled against him. *** hit himself then, stupid, stupid, stupid. They had been at a cuddle party, what did he think everyone was going to do? It didn’t mean anything more than that Gabby and Sibyl were best friends, and they loved each other as such but still the familiar pang of jealousy stung his chest, it made him feel anxious and made it hard to breathe.

Gabby caught up with him, and they argued, Gabby wanting to know why *** was acting this way, *** unable to do anything but selfishly make the situation worse, wrapped up in his own little miserable world.

But then those three little words slipped out between his pathetic sniffling, three words that put everything on hold because nothing mattered but this exact moment and the two of them in it.

“I just... I-I… I love you so much… ”

He was sorry he was such a mess. But Gabriel held him anyway, his arms wrapped tightly around him.

"I love you." He had said. "You, ***. Remember that."

[Memory 4: Happy (Main Blessing 4/5)]

It was a beautiful day and she was outside in the garden of the house. She saw her parents her niece and another familymember sitting around her on a small round table. She was going to unpack a present in front of her. She was really sure it was the gift she asked for and quickly opened it. It was a dress she really liked. The color was just perfect. Her family seemed pleased the liked the gift so much.

[ Destructive Incident ]

Chaos reined around her. The place called Disneyland was now at Medea's mercy.

**** remembered a horrible feeling in her chest. This was wrong. She felt this was wrong. Yet she participated nonetheless. It was what was right.

Yet ... it felt wrong.

There had been darkness and confusing noises. Something now binds him. He rumbles blearily and opens his eyes, trying to recall the last thing that happened--

He is on some sort of stage. There are multiple faces he did not know and a few he did. They are shouting numbers and names. Shaheen stands triumphant while Lan and Zhiquiang conspire to pool their funds together.

He is being bid on for six seeds, and it stands unchallenged: and now he is to be their slaves for a day.

"Uncle... what's this?"
He turned, eyes widening as he saw the book.
"Oh, Jack! I didn't mean to... I wasn't supposed to..." He sighed, dragging a palm down his face.
"I accidentally ended up taking it from the human world. I wasn't supposed to, but it looked interesting and I just wanted to have a look. I guess I panicked when I heard the adult humans waking up and grabbed it by mistake, but-"

--- barely heard his voice as she was already mesmerized by the book, the beautiful pictures. Her hand brushed against one of the images, as if the simple touch would bring it to life. She had made her choice.

[Memory 5: Sad (Main Blessing 5/5)]

She couldn't find the book she borrowed from her friend and she didn't know what to do now. She promised to give it back yesterday so she was already late. How would she react when she knew? Liza just walked in and saw her searching. "You lost my book didn't you?" the other said. She could only say "Yes." And be sorry about it before Liza started shouting at her in anger. "You always loose MY books!"

All the fretting and worrying and overall fear over taking her own heart out proved to be completely ridiculous for the actual act of removing the heart was a simple matter. It beat against Annabell's palm, but it did little else to fight her grip. That was a comfort, not quite as large a one as Ortam had been, for he had been precisely what she needed in the end, had said the right words to make her believe in herself again. Sad, really, that just a few tasks and she had lost sight of her own optimism and hope, but Annabell was back to rights now, and now she was giving it all up.
But for a good cause. As she had told the Goddess earlier who had deemed her Prey, she was a good sacrifice. She fought hard and she did her best to be kind and helpful, she did not give up easy. And that felt good enough.

With a sigh the girl let go, having realized this was not the kind of fight to hold out for. For once it was alright to just give in, to hand herself over to creation and be reworked into something new. Annabell felt one last smile slid onto her face as everything faded away, the small light that burned in her chest beginning to flicker.
There was still hope, even if she faded into nothingness. That, above all else, would stay.

((Blessing 4/5))

Birthdays had always been a special time in her family. ***** could remember always celebrating each one with presents and cake and some sort of party. One was never missed and a great deal of thought and time was put into their preparation. So it was when she woke up on her birthday her eyes filled with excitement.

"GINJI!" Her voice cried cheerfully through the house and she leaped from her bed to go find her brother. Little feet padded their way to her older brother's room but he wasn't there. Maybe he was in the family room! Her mother and father were probably there too and no doubt with presents!

She rushed to the other end of the house, humming a strange little melody that was playing over and over in her head but as she drew closer she could tell something was wrong. Where there was almost always a fire burning and the smell of food cooking and the sound of her father's laugh coming from the kitchen there was nothing.....there was only silence and darkness.

The hallway seemed to grow longer as her pace began to slow. "G-Ginji?"

"D...Don't come in here, *****"

"W-why? Where are Mommy and Dad-" She stopped in her tracks when she saw the first signs of why he didn't want her any closer. Why his voice sounded frail and broken. Their family room had once been a mix of autumn colors: golds, browns, and oranges. Now everything was painted in shades of red.

He stabs the little scruffy hunter in the back while he tictictics away at his machine. It does not matter that there are a handful of his lackeys trying to protect him, that they think their glowing little weapons could stop an executioner when he is on the warpath. The hunter dies in seconds.

*** revels in their despair and fury. He welcomes their retaliation, for a war is nothing without a struggle. And he has already won this battle.

Chaos begins to engulf the field as spines kill several more and the scythe shadow takes them all, but he does not care. He is living in the moment, bloodthirsty and howling and feral grins in the unforgiving land of sand and sun.

((Blessing 5/5))

The moon was so large and round and it captivated her attention. It called out to her to sing to it but ***** really didn't have the voice for that sort of thing. She was taught to be quiet, don't be loud or make a noise. Things like that would only make Mr. Adolphus mad.

Instead she sat beside Shun on the hill fully intent to just sit and watch the sky when he called for her to howl at it. She shook her head, too nervous to do so but then he did something very unexpected. He threw his head back and howled at the moon himself. Sure it wasn't a howl that a wolf could make but it startled her into realizing...she could be a little more like herself here. Little by little she was regaining her freedom and who she really was. Especially around him.

Finally, ***** threw her head back and howled at the moon. A deep a long howl that filled her heart with joy to make.

Tearing into his Heart was more painful than he had anticipated, but there was nothing else he could do. He had to give up his Heart. This was the last task, and he would obey. Linswo winced when he watched his memories fill up with cracks before falling apart into pieces that melted into the oblivion. His memories were unraveling piece by piece and he wanted to shout. He had gotten them back just now, so why did they have to go so quickly? His Heart was gone now. That was right. Now he was empty. He didn’t know what to feel when he offered his core up to Creation. There was no Heart to feel with, not anymore.

Did he regret? Perhaps there was a tiny part of him screaming for him to stop while he still could, but it was wrong. There was nothing left, but to watch the remains of his memories fade away from him. He watched the figures walk around in his memories. Sometimes he could see them move their lips to form his name. His real name, but he could never quite hear it. He tried to strain his ears, but all he could hear was silence. His name, what was his name—

He still tried to listen for his name as he faded away.
