Finishing her tea, Lilith nodded her thanks to the barkeep and headed for the door. "Me too..." She muttered.
"Now lets find that dirt-bag before he seduces himself another innocent young girl..."

Lloyd decided to cheer up, but he'd be lying if he said he was looking forward to seeing Mathias again. "Just be careful, we're not wearing our armor, and we didn't bring out weapons with us. You're with child now and all."
Soon they found Mathias on their way back to Scarlett. It was less that he was looking for her home again, he was waiting them. This time, no fan fare.
"What took the two of you?"

"I'm aware of that. But we still have plenty of magic between us..." Lilith replied. At the sight of Mathias Lilith visibly stiffened, her hand clenching into a fist. "Nothing... Just planning on how best to wipe the floor with you."

Mathias shook his head and gave an evil smile. "Wipe the floor with me? Paladins, always believing their light can best the darkness. You don't have the slightest idea to the power I posses?"
"We don't care about that. Why are you here?""I have realized we unfinished business, your bloodline has been a nuisance to me far long enough. Had I been able to smell you stench then, I would had run you through long ago!"Lloyd began to sweat again, Mathias, he was the one his family has been battling? That power he felt, it all made sense now. "You're a monster for what you did to Scarlett...""I only told her what she wanted to hear, and gave her what she asked for. You can blame me for a lot in this world, but can't blame me for that, Lloyd."

"He can't... But I can." Lilith growled from beside Lloyd. Despite what was about to go down between the three of them, Lilith felt at peace within herself, like her deity was sitting on a cloud above giving her a thumbs up to proceed down this path. The presence of her blood knight doing nothing to disturb this inner peace, in fact... his presence seemed to ground it.

(I like the fire costume of yours, you look like an elemental. That being said, I couldn't remember what weapon he used in UDT.) Mathias brandished a curved sword. It was an unusual blood red sword, not even Lloyd's weapon was permanently that color. Not unless he was driven by the blood lust. "Do you intend to get yourself involved, Paladin Dog? This will be a battle you cannot win. "

(Lol, thank you. I randomly compiled it while fiddling around with items in my inventory. 3nodding I believe Mathias used a b*****d sword in UDT but it doesn't really matter. He could have changed swords in the 20+ years that pass between then and here.) "I intend to protect my interests so if that means gettin' involved then yes." Lilith replied, unconsciously drifting into a combat stance as she wrapped her fingers around the small dagger she had sheathed in the back of her belt. "I've faced worse odds and come out on top."

(((Well it looks awesome. I got to go to the drawing board with Mathias. But I think I have an idea for him.))) Lloyd lifted his greatsword, determined to end his life here. "Lilith, this is definitely him. The one my family has been fighting against for generations. We have to stop him!" That being said, he ran forward with his sword dragging along the ground. He was not even surprised to know that Mathias would be quite the opponent. Mathias parried his blow with great ease, a greatsword parried by curved blade. It usually wouldn't work in any other situation.

(SD had a great RP idea for this outfit, like the primary elements mating to create the sub elements. For example mother fire element + father earth elemental = baby molten elemental.) Lilith was worried he was going to say that. Of course they would have to encounter this man while both of them were unarmored. Perhaps this was her gods way of getting back at her for drifting from the true path. Lilith backed away from the combat, slowly drifting to her right to flank Mathias while still keeping up the illusion that she was unarmed. As the men's swords clashed again, Lilith dived forward with her dagger drawn seeking to plant it in Mathias' back/spine.

Mathias chuckled and turned around, only to to be stabbed by Lilith. He grabbed her arm, pushing the dagger deeper into his body. "I admit, I should had known better that a Paladin wouldn't be unarmed. But you are severely outmatched."
Lloyd prepared to strike again, but he hesitated. He might hurt Lilith in the process if he tried to strike Mathias now. "Dammit, let her go! This is our fight!" He knew him by that name of Leon, how could one man live this long and yet look so young? Sorcery could be the only answer.

(SD hasn't felt like RPing as of late, this idea came up while we were just talking. Was probably just going to hold onto the idea and use it the next time somebody wants to start another one with me.) (Did they leave the cerberus at home or is it skipping about in the background somewhere?) "Probably." Lilith replied, relinquishing her grip on the dagger as Mathias applied more pressure to her wrist. "But one is never truly unarmed, just simply at a disadvantage." That said Lilith suddenly lunged forward and clamped her teeth down on Mathias' ear, easily tearing into the defenseless piece of meat.

"Woman get off my ear!" Yelled Mathias. What kind of Paladin bites ears?
Lloyd's jaw dropped, did she really bite him? Was she insane? He caught her in his arms after Mathias blasted her with a dark magic fireball conjured from his lost blood.
"Of all things to do, Lilith, you okay?" He asked, the woman had to be more careful!
Mathias turned to them, his red blade glowed as it absorbed the blood that was shed on the ground. And of course from his now bleeding ear. "Enough of these childish antics..."
He prepared to strike, only to have a hellhound attack him too by latching onto his arm three times! Where did that thing come from? It was smaller than he expected. Mathias eventually flung the dog off his arm and held it.
"Another day, Lloyd. Till then, get stronger. You're weaker than all the others. Give into the bloodlust that you try to hold in."
That being said, Mathias was gone in a mere puff of smoke.
"Good jobs, boy. See, I told you he could help!" Said Lloyd, truth be told he was still shaking by that fight. Lilith was more capable with a dagger and teeth than he was with his greatsword on that one.

"The kind without a weapon..." Lilith replies, spitting the bloody chunk of ear out onto the ground after being caught by Lloyd. Pushing herself back to her feet, Lilith smiled at Lloyd. "Singed here and there but nothing major. Had to improvise. He surely didn't expect it."
Comforting a rather confused cerberus, Lilith nodded. "I stand corrected. He can help, but he could have just as easily died..."

The cerberus leaped int Lilith's arms and whimpered. It wanted to protect her and Lloyd, but didn't seem to do a good job at it.
"And so could you have fighting him. From now on, armor at all times. I don't want you, or the child getting hurt because you're caught up in my problems with Leon. Or Mathias these days apparently." He answered Lilith as he began to walk her back home to Scarlett's.

"Tushay." Lilith states with a smile, petting Eclipse before putting the hell hound down and following in Lloyd's footsteps. "But I couldn't agree more with that second comment..."
"We better lay some wards around Scarlett's place when we get back."
