The dark haired boy managed to free himself of the water filled dip in the floor, crawling and stumbling over strange grooves on the surface. Still blind, still deaf, he could somehow feel something big happening around him. Rumbling vibrations of multiple footsteps. It was frustrating. He didn't understand what he was doing here, what he was supposed to do to get out. Quote: Mot is a 6 foot tall teenager with long black hair and deathly pale skin

The room continued to blind her, and her trek through the stairs continued to make her deaf and mute as well. This was by no means fun, and paranoia was beginning to set in; this way she couldn't see or hear the Fake Aymet returning, and she doubted she'd be any use in battle against him. Not only that, but now anyone could get the jump on her, and she'd never know who it was.
The thought was terrifying, and now she just wanted out. The lingering need to destroy this Aymet for everything he said, all the times he messed with her was still strong, but her need for self-preservation was getting stronger. There were better places to wrap her hands around the Imposter's throat.
So she backed up, away from the pillar that maybe held water, and continued to back up, looking for something, anything solid enough to press her back to. Sure it would limit her escape, but at least she wouldn't have to worry about being quite literally backstabbed. Step after careful step was taken until she backed into something soft yet solid, and with a mental yelp she spun to face it, pressing her hands against...someone's back? There was something between them too, tails, it felt like. Three of them, and fluffy.
Wait. She knew someone with three tails! Maybe...?
noharm
Amrita drew the letters on the creature's back as quickly and clearly as she could; it was the only way to show that she was harmless, at least for now. Once that was done her hands trailed up his back, through the mess of short hair until her fingers found the fuzzy base of ears. Ah-hah! Yes, she was pretty sure she knew who this was! Just one more thing to check...
Standing on her tip toes behind him, she stretched until her fingers brushed along the side of one of his ears, feeling not one but two bars. Yup. She knew who this was. Relief flooded through her and she sank back down, resting her forehead against his back. It was nice to feel a friendly face, one she had recognized briefly from that Awakening Dream, and one she knew probably wouldn't try to attack her. Someone that very likely understood. Still, there was a small chance there could be another tall, three-tailed, short-haired, large-pierced-eared creature out there, so...just to be sure...

[Enter] Julian stopped dead when he saw the sign. Losing his hearing had been bad for him, it wasn't something he was comfortable with. Losing his voice wasn't nearly as bad, especially since there wasn't anyone to talk to anyway. Losing his vision... Now that was a completely different story. Normally he was nocturnal, or tried to be anyway. He didn't mind the dark, saw quite well in it. But this form, this form wasn't the same. He didn't think it would have the capability. And even then, that wasn't what the sign was talking about. He wouldn't just be entering a pitch-black room. Whatever the Voice was, it had made this place in such a way that if he stepped through that door he would. Not. See. And that scared him.
But he couldn't just turn around. And he couldn't just stand here. It would do his friends no good. Without any other choice, he let the force drag him into the room, and his world went dark.

Against his better judgment, Westus kicked out his foot as he swung away from the pillar and its mystery wetness. Unfortunately, it slammed right into the leg of a familiar table. He would have cried out if he could have, but instead he just lunged for the book he knew would be nearby and crumpled the top two pages, leaving them otherwise attached. Stupid book. Stupid table. Was he meant to wander this place forever? Quote: HP: 25 Appearance: Long, unbound white hair, gray skin, white eyes, black horns, black spaded tail, plain gray robes.

Jordan eased down the steps again, searching for something unknown in a slow, shuffling gait. It wasn't long before his foot bumped something again, but when he checked, he found that he had somehow gotten turned around, returning to the steps he'd just come from. He sighed with frustration. Okay this? This Maritess did not like. In the least. She was fine with being deaf. She was alright with being mute. She wasn't, however, fine with being blind. Unless of course she ends up copping a feel with someone. Okay maybe some vestiges of herself as the Lovers remained. Her blind fumbling had her fall into a fountain. Or she hopes it's a fountain. Please let it be a fountain and not something else that collects liquid.
The only plus side to this mortifying experience was that if there were anyone else around they wouldn't know about it.

Jordan's outstretched hands encountered a pillar, shorter than the pillars surrounding the mirror in the center. Its top was hollow; within it, he could feel some kind of cool liquid. A fountain made of purest water, he recalled. The purest symbol of his grief. Whose grief? King Arthur's? One of his knights? Someone else?He wanted Ferros back in his mind, needed to talk this over with his weapon, exchange thoughts and reassure one another. That wasn't going to happen until they could get home. He sighed and moved away from the fountain. Quote: Name: Jordan/Ferros HP: 30/50 Kingdom: Blue Appearance: Jordan: 5'10" human male with blond hair and blue eyes, wiry build, dressed semi-formally. While she wrung her hair of the liquid, she began to feel for a safe spot with her other hand. Eventually her fingers brushed against something cool, and initially she drew away. It wasn't so much that it was made of metal that startled her. It was the odd... vibration.
Her sopping hair forgotten, Maritess continued to feel the surface, eventually making out the odd shape of a chair? With words engraved on it. Call my true name her fingers made out. Maybe it wasn't a fountain she had fallen in. Maybe it was some other body of water. A pond? A lake perhaps? The Voice's attitude had always been cloying to her, searching for a King? Hah! Maybe it really was just looking for a man.
The expression on Maritess' face turned ugly. She could not hear, could not see, could not speak but her mouth was still moving and her nails began to claw and scratch at the metal chair's surface to declare her answer: Vivien.

Jordan had circled back to the stairs again, he found, and he groaned, sitting down on one of the steps and rubbing his hands tiredly over his face. What are you so afraid of us seeing that you had to take away all our senses? he thought angrily at the Voice. There was no answer. Or maybe it was symbolic. The thought came out of nowhere, and he frowned, turning it over in his head. Maybe ... the Voice was blind and deaf? Or had been blind and deaf? Trapped somehow? That suggested Merlin, who had been trapped in a tree or stone, according to legend, though he knew Merlin as a staff ... Unable to see, hear, or speak, he realized with a jolt. Like an unbonded weapon. Quote: Name: Jordan/Ferros HP: 30/50 Kingdom: Blue Appearance: Jordan: 5'10" human male with blond hair and blue eyes, wiry build, dressed semi-formally. Jordan's foot caught on something on the floor, and he knelt down to investigate. Carved grooves, in an ornate pattern which he couldn't visualize. He relied so much on sight, he mused. What would it be like to be trapped in darkness, able only to wait? He'd found something, something cool and metal but somehow alive. Cautiously, Jordan ran his hands over the object. A throne, huge and empty, inanimate, but seeming almost to hum. The back of his neck prickled as though someone was watching him. The throne's base was engraved, and as he ran his fingers over the inscription, he found words forming in his mind, clearly visualized and sharp. Lumikki frowned so maybe it was one sided, didn't make her feelings less. She felt his hand on her head. Was...he was he had just patted her on the head like a dog. Oh if they get out of this she was going to bite him again. Her ears twitching involuntary as she stood there. It was an interesting experience to be stripped of her senses. Her brain making sounds up as she looked around the dark room. Her mouth opening and closing as if she was having a conversation with someone. Head turning quickly to a direction, that scent it had been plaguing her since she first caught wind of it when the bird hugged her. Rushing forward bumping in to things she finally made her way to where the scent was strongest. Reaching out she felt the feathers. Tilting her head to one side then the other she was amazed how soft they were. The amazement was short lived as she silently started to chew him out for ruining her illusions of a life. Why couldn't she stop thinking about his embrace. The first thing Julian walked into was a freaking table. He bent at the waist when he ran into it, his hands catching himself on the tabletop. His lips drew into a frown as he ran his hands across it, one of them stopping when it touched a book. It was a big book, he could feel old, possibly even brittle pages under his fingers. Oh, if he could see, could read what it said.
His back straightened in and instant when someone touched his wings. He quickly turned, one hand grabbing at whomever it was. He caught a wrist and searched for a face with his other hand. He was by no means any good with reading faces with his hand, but he could tell it was probably a ghoul and- And his hand touched something in her hair, a fuzzy ear. He drew his hand away from her face and moved it to hers. He carefully pressed his nail to her hand, lightly tracing letters. L-U-M-I-?

Slowly, carefully, Jordan made his way back to the center, to the pillars surrounding the mirror, and once again laid his hand against its surface. He could only think of one entity he knew of that would have the power and the motivation to make this place, this world, and play with lives the way it had. The Kings, the crowns, and the True King, the way the Voice had whispered and promised and manipulated, the awful silent darkness in which he'd found himself, all were leading him to one conclusion. Perhaps it was the wrong one, but he couldn't know without acting. Merlin, trapped and resentful, struggling to escape and hoping for the return of a true King. Taking a deep breath, Jordan drew his hand back, clenched it into a fist, and hit the mirror as hard as he could.

It might not have been as frightening had only his sight been taken away. Deep down Remi was really an animal, he knew to rely on his other senses. Primarily, hearing. If you cant see, then the barest russle of sound would give him a few answers. Only his hearing was the first thing taken away. Then his speech, and now his sight. He felt as vulnerable as a newborn pup, unable to see the truth and monsters in the world. Still at least he could use his nose, and taste the air. Of course he was not going to go about and sniff, and lick, every person in the room. Cause ew, no. He took a step forward, arms in front of him, trying to see if he could run in to any object, anything. Only for him, he found someone had hit him first. He went still, his tails drooping and trying to pretend he was something that he was not. He would know in a moment if there was a blossom of pain if this was an enemy, only he felt hands on his back... hands that moved down to run along his tails. He shivered from the touch, from the knowledge that really someone was trying to either A: Identify him or B: feel him up. Only with the addition of the drawings on his back was he truly able to know which is was, and in reality? It was sort of both. He stood still, his trust weighing on the fact that this phantom person had not harmed him as of yet. His trust was fickle here anyways, but he also knew that some of them here were real. Was this Tomo or Erebus maybe? Actually... never mind, it was not Erebus. No. He resisted the urge to reach back and touch to see who this was too, fidgeting a little as the other touched his ears. It was around then he realized he was an idiot, and should be using his nose. His sense of smell was better than average at best, and now with three senses null his sense of smell should be a hundred times better. At the exact same time he breathed in, his name were drawn on his back. He knew this scent, it was covered in something different... something foreign, but at the core he knew this one. While she was covered in a scent he would assume was from whatever kingdom she was thrust in to, he knew her. He turned around abruptly. Placing his arms around her, he hoped she would not freak from the jerky motion. A moment late rhe placed his head on hers, and let out a sigh no one could hear. Oh god it was so good to know a familiar person here, someone whom would be trying to kill him he was sure, had he not seen her in the vision with Medea as well. Amrita? He wrote on her back in return. enoh love WANT SOME FEELS WITH THAT SIDE OF FEELS? Quote: Name: Remi HP: 25/25 Status: Awoken / Former Violet Kingdom Queen
