Whew! This zone at least had thimngamabob monsters that didn't care she was there. Thane was still at her side like a dog, albeit a bony draconic one, but she liked to think his hissing kept them at bay as well.
He was the only part of her that really could do something after all. Otherwise she was just a wallflower.
Speaking of, these miasma flowers hurt! Stormy had to discard a few to keep herself from collapsing, her knees shaking but keeping her up. Imryn frowned a little at her pile of flowers and tossed one that seemed to be teetering on the edge as it was. There was still plenty left over for the end, so one wouldn't be missed. She was however a bit concerned for the other girl as she yelped and buckled a bit, thinking of offering some help, though she seemed to be doing ok and headed on to toss the flowers in. Thankfully they were purified and Imryn sighed with relief, though that didn't last too long as her own flowers suddenly began causing her a good amount of pain. Her knee buckled and she sank to the ground with a small cry of pain, eyes watering a good bit while waiting for it to pass. This wasn't good. Almost all of her strength had been zapped from those flowers but there was just enough left to get on to the fountain at the end. It was so close... "Go on ahead back if you'd like... I'll make it over there in a little bit and then head home. Thank you for staying with me so far." Just a small breather, it was just the thing to fix her up and be good as new. OOC Character: Imryn Current HP: 30/50 - 28 for the flowers. 2/50 at the end Kingdom: Gold Current Sector: D going into E Number of Flowers: 14 (discarded one) Appearance: Slender young woman with long black hair that was currently pulled up, bright blue eyes and dark grey-ish colored skin. "You look about as peaky as my partner here," the man rumbled, offering his other arm to Olivia, although he looked as though he was moving forward out of stubborness alone. "H'lo I got flowers~" Jerry gave the other girl a happy wave, showing her his small boquet. "When we get back," Roar grunted, "I need a stiff drink. We're almost.. there." There seemed to be the so-called caldron, where he saw folks ahead of them toss their flowers in. Shuffling slowly, he carried the two closer before shoving Jerry toward it's opening. "Drop 'em." "But they're mine~" Roar was ready to slap the man, and did so, sending the whole boquet into the pot. [SECTION E -> ALL IN]

Jay stared down at her flowers as she headed down toward the next sector. The oddly-colored creatures were walking toward somewhere, but she didn’t know where. She squinted at the monsters, but chose not to approach them for fear of incurring their wrath. The flowers were still sucking away at her energy and she winced as she felt the consequences of picking so many flowers. But she could bear with it.OOC Name Jay HP 8 Kingdom Gold Sector D Flowers 9

Almost as soon as he'd thrown in his flowers to wither and die Kashi did as well. He didn't even seem to wait. The look he gave Kashi as the obvious same result followed as simply one of are you THAT stupid? Still, he could only sigh and shake his head. He had a point, they could go back still, no one had died... that he knew of. "yes..." He replied somewhat breathlessly, stumbling along a few steps with the other. To be honest, he did appreciate the help getting back. He wasn't sure if he'd had even had the energy to leave this place without someone else pushing him along at this point. One failure after another just wasn't doing him any good for that already stretched bit of sanity he had remaining with this day. ...it would also be a bit difficult to even look at that emperor with his failure. Still, he'd only said he'd do what he must. Which he did... just not as well as he'd hoped. "You still need to give it back..." He added, his mind still on getting back the item Olivia had traded him. And then it did hit him, as he looked back, already at the exit which... seemed impossible to return to at this point. She was still in there... hopefully well. "Olivia..." It was a near silent whisper as he shook his head, slumping back down a bit. It was too late, they'd left. There was no way to re-enter in their condition. He could only accompany the other man 'home' at this point. He's 17, but rather slim and feminine. The loose white robes and white hair that is rather long and braided in the back didn't help to make him any less lady-like probably. His bangs are long in the front on each side and tied to keep some manner of order to them. He has sky blue eyes to add to a fairly pale complexion. His left arm, and right leg are currently fairly torn up and bleeding. As well it looks like something bit his right forearm, but wasn't nearly as successful. He is also missing his right shoe. She had to admit, it was a little amusing seeing Jerry hanging on the bigger Roar like that and she offered a weak smile to the thinner man. "They look nice," she replied. Even as small as it was, it did.
Olivia accepted his other arm, but mostly to steady herself and placed her hand gently on it as they walked towards the last obstacle. The small girl wasn't sure if he had been affected by the drain as Jerry and herself, but she could still feel the strength in him as he carried his companion and helped her. It was ... nice, something she hadn't expected really. Comforting.
"It would be nice to keep one," she stated weakly, "but.. I think we have to drop them." It was what the others had done, she had seen it too.

Alastair finally arrived at the crystal purifier. He admired the beautiful glow as he struggled towards it with a limp and shallow breath. Without much thought, he tossed his collection of Miasma flowers into it. Happy to be rid of those energy-sapping weeds he slumped down next to the purifier as if to rest and recover from his journey. "You better give me those damn things back... after my nap."

After Jerry threw in his for nothing, Olivia hesitated for a moment before throwing hers along as well. All the flowers were going in, all or nothing - that seemed like a Vegas thing to do, right?
But to her surprise, they returned all purified. All of them. Her eyes went wide and a relieved smile replaced her expression of shock. Something good came of this adventure. Her heart was broken but she could at least go back with something for her efforts. She reached out and took the bundle of purified flowers from the alter and followed Jerry and Roar back to their Blue Kingdom.

The altar was in sight... He wasn't sure why he kept going, but there were others around him, and they were tossing flowers into the crystalline figure... Stumbling forward, the child was only barely holding onto them all. The little boy felt his legs weaken under him, and he just barely staggered to the altar in time to drop all the flowers in. His body felt like he was shaped of coarse lead, worn and poisoned and soulless, but it was all worth it when he scooped the flowers back out. They were purified, no longer prickling uneasily at his numbed skin. Flowers for his King. The child gathered them all back up into his arms, and trudged towards the end of the labyrinth. Gertrude had finally made it to the next sector. She actually felt relieved. She was used to hunting, so she could deal with physical pain better than mental pain. She waded through the swamp water, which smelled like an awful lot like an outhouse and burned her eyes, nose, and skin. "Good times, good times..." she said sarcastically. David panted as he managed to break past the monsters and make it into Sector C, but to his rather unpleasant surprise, when he glanced back he saw one of the creatures making off with his shredded pants.
The young man glanced around, beet red and hoping to whatever god would listen that no one saw him in this state, he still had to gather the Miasma flowers, pants or no. He wandered through, finding himself fascinated by the strange species in spite of himself as he plucked them.
