Vail smirked, knowing the girl didn't know what she was getting into. She closed her eyes and concentrated, holding out her hands. Little phantom fingers extended from hers, searching the ground. After a few seconds, the Earth began to move and the dead rose from them. "They don't stop or tire. Fight them for as long as you can. If you look like you're dying...well I'll TRY to stop them."

Keira nodded as they came after her. She took a breath and started to swing. Slicing them in two. She didn't notice how many their was until she felt the sweat fall down her face. She kept swinging, with as much accuracy she could.

Vail smiled and saw she was having some difficulty. 'Well it is training after all.' She closed her eyes and gave the dead bodies more of her energy, making them faster and stronger.

kirstangel1 She watched him struggle through the course, timing him in the back of her mind. It's really quite amazing, how fast he moves. She smiled, and watched his progress. When he was about half way through his time was up, "Time's up," she called, "come back." He sighed a bit annoyed at the call to come back. At first he thought about simply continuing but knowing Rain she'd probably make him come back or something she he simply came back to where she would have him start. Once there he turned back ready to go again and waiting on her word to start. Even though he'd only done at least half the course he was sweating profusely already. His lack of power wore him out a bit but he was used to not relying on his power, the problem was being drained from using it all moments ago. When she finally gave him the ok he took off running again. This time when he leaped over the first obstacle he forced himself to boost his jump using the wind which gave him a bit of distance. When he landed he rolled and when his feet touched the ground he was running again taking no time to stop of slow down as his sweat began to pour over his eyes. He was beginning to time his jumps and ducking and dodging with percise wind control that made his movements that much more fluid though anytime he would mess up he would hit something hard. When he was at the halfway mark again his arm was bruised in a couple places and he had a light cut over his left eyebrow but he was so determined to get stronger he didn't let it stop of slow him down in the least. He ran with the pain as though it was totally natural. "Godd*anmit i won't be weak... I can't..." He mentally shouted to himself as he began to move a bit quicker.

It had been only a few days after they had altered her mind, and she was still weak and bruised from the torture she had endured, and now thought that she had deserved. She looked over their course with a sense of dread, knowing that the stakes for not completing it on their time was more pain. She had struggled as Ro did now, pushing herself until her body screamed in agony, and enduring the beatings that came afterwards for not completing it, all in the name of becoming stronger. She shook her head to clear it when his time was up, and called him back again. He had made it only slightly farther than before, "Enough," she said, softly, "go and take a break, in the kitchen there's a box of tea, make you some, it'll help you regain some energy." He couldn't say no although he wished he could. A break would relax him and once that started it would be hard to get him back to this point. Nevertheless, he walked out of the training cavern to see Vail and Adara training. He felt even more weak watching them go at it. As he found his way to the kitchen he remember he didn't even know how to make tea which bummed him out a bit more. "I'm just wasting time now..." He thought to himself as he looked around. Slowly his body began to cool off and his head began to throb in pain where the cut was. Suddenly the pains he had built up began to bother him as his adrenaline wore off.

Nevertheless, he walked out of the training cavern to see Vail and Adara training. He felt even more weak watching them go at it. As he found his way to the kitchen he remember he didn't even know how to make tea which bummed him out a bit more. "I'm just wasting time now..." He thought to himself as he looked around. Slowly his body began to cool off and his head began to throb in pain where the cut was. Suddenly the pains he had built up began to bother him as his adrenaline wore off. Rain watched him go, hoping he could figure out how to make the tea, she would check on him in a minute to be sure. She then turned back to the course and stripped down to a pair of shorts and a tank top that she wore under her clothes. She walked calmly over to the course, already feeling adrenalin pumping through her veins. She took a long, deep breath, and launched herself forward. She made the first jump with ease, and continued along, her body knowing instinctively what to do. She was moving as quickly as she could, making each jump and turn and twist flawlessly. She reached the end with ten seconds to spare, drenched in sweat and gasping for breath. I had to see if I could still do it... With that done, she made her way to the kitchen to check on Ro.

He had fallen asleep laying on the table by the time she had walked in. His forehead injury had began to take care of itself as it began to close up. the bleeding had stopped by a wet bead of blood still lingered as though daring somebody to touch it. The bruises on his arms and chest had darkened a bit as he slept on the table and the rip along the leg of his pants showed that he did have a little mark going down his leg though it wasn't bleeding at all. He seemed a lot more calm with his messy hair covering his face except for his open mouth as he lightly snored on the table

Still smiling she gently helped him to his feet. With him leaning on her, still mostly asleep, she led him to one of the beds and carefully laid him down. She grabbed a blanket and laid it across him. She watched him for several seconds, to make sure she didn't wake him, and then silently walking away. She would let him sleep until it was time for then to leave, they only had a few more hours left here before they would need to return. She walked towards where Vail and Adara were training. "Mind if I jump in?" she asked Vail as she approached.

Vail nodded and smiled. "Sure, I'll just raise some more, but after you're done I have to go to the cemetery." Vail held one hand out, the phantom fingers reaching into the earth again. She pulled the spirits back into their bodies, raising five more dead.

Rain smiled and sank in to an offensive crouch, a sword in her hand. She launched herself at the zombies, taking out two in less than a second. She dodged as another swung at her, and took it's head before attacking another. In less than thirty seconds, the zombies Vail had raised for her were dead.

Vail sighed and shook her head. "I can give them more power if you want, but that's going to take all my energy and you'll have to carry me to the cemetery." Then Vail smirked. "Although you probably want to be here for when your lover wakes up."
