No one would want to be with an incubus and he knew that. He sighed when Mr. Gray hugged him back, though it made it a bit worse for him. He was injured and his instincts were demanding that he drain his life force anyway. Of course, he had enough self-control to ignore it, but it still bothered him. It was just like that horrible night, but it wasn't quite as bad, thank god.
"It's not like I intentionally reopen them. Ugh, healing naturally takes too long and I hate having to rest," He complained, but he had no choice. At least, unless he found someone else to run off with, but he wasn't going to do that. ... Maybe. ❤═━.¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸..¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸..¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸..¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸..¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸..¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸.━═❤

"Just think about all us poor saps perpetually stuck healing naturally," Gray said. "At least you have the option of healing faster and, well, I'd probably offer to help if not for the fact I really don't think I can spare life force at the moment." He punctuated this statement by yawning.
Mrr. Maybe he should take a nap.
Still, he grinned slightly and tilted Rose's face up to look at him. "But surely you can rest for my sake, yeah?" he teased. "If I succumb to chronic fatigue now because you're stressing me out, then after you graduate, there won't be any chance of anything between us will there?" He leaned close and whispered in Rose's ear. "And that would be such a shame, wouldn't it?"
((I can't figure out why he still teases him when he knows what's going to happen. =w= ))

But, Rose had to forgive Mr. Gray for turning him down when he saw him yawn like that. It made him want to snuggle him, but he didn't even get the chance when he tilted his face up. Great. He knew he was in for some teasing, and now was not a good time for that.
He shuddered when he whispered in his ear and frowned. "I wouldn't get that close if I were you. You don't know how much I want to use you to heal myself whether you want me to or not. You're lucky I formed some self-control after last time..." He warned him with a sigh. "Everything you've put me through and I can't even tease you," Gray said with a long, melodramatic sigh. "Seems a bit unfair given how much fun it is."
He stood and went to put the kettle on. "So is that what you were doing with that friend of yours in the bathroom? Trying to self-heal?" Dammit. Why di that bother him so much anyway? Lord, if Rose found someone else to harass, that would be great! Gray should be celebrating in the streets with booze and confetti.
But somehow the thought of him sneaking off with some guy just left a bad taste in his mouth. He was clearly going daft. There was no other explanation. He'd just gotten used to having Rose around, and their bizarre relationship, such as it was. That, and the exhaustion had driven him daft. Definitely.

Of course, he had mostly innocent intentions when he jumped into the stall with Morgan, but if he had a problem at the thought of it being something more, he was definitely going to milk it.
"Yeah, but I forgot all about my injuries when I hopped in there. He was so adorable and it was getting hot in there... Too bad we were interrupted. At least it wasn't a teacher," Yep. "Well," Gray said. "Congratulations. Maybe you can find him again later and finish what you started." It begged the question why, if things were getting so hot and heavy with this student, Rose ran straight to his wagon? Oh...wait. It was that girl who interrupted. Pfft. Probably meant Gray had been downgraded to bodyguard. Charming.
"I'm sure he'd gladly help you heal. With the added benefit of not getting you expelled if you get caught. And since we were already caught once--thankfully by a friend--it's probably for the best."
The weird combination of relief and annoyance was getting on his nerves. He was going to blame sleep deprivation for that one. He always got moody when he was tired. Definitely.

It was dumb for him to hope that he would disapprove. He was always trying to push him away anyway. Too bad Morgan wouldn't really be that willing.

Gray glanced back at Rose, now thoroughly confused and exasperated because he sounded depressed. He sighed and poured himself a cup of tea and made one for Rose as well, even though Rose never actually drank it. It was just weird to make only one cup when he had company. And besides, making two was just sort of habit by now. "I thought he was helping?" he asked. "Wasn't that sort of the point of the whole bathroom tryst?"

There was only one excuse he could think of, and it was only going to make him look horrible. What was worse, admitting to his lie or that? It was an obvious answer, but he had a habit of speaking before thinking, "Well, he wasn't that willing... at first..." He was definitely going to get punched for that.
To take his mind off of what he just said, Rose had to wonder why Mr. Gray still made him tea whenever he came over. He never got the chance to take more than three sips because something always happened, and, quite frankly, he wasn't a big fan of tea. He preferred coffee or something sweet. It was still a kind gesture though.

Gray had just picked up his tea cup when Rose indicated he'd been forcing himself on another student. He wasn't even sure about the emotions that inspired in him--he was furious at Rose for...he didn't even know what for. he didn't realize how hard he was squeezing the cup until it shattered, sending a wave of tea over the stove and dripping onto the floor. Gray stared down at his slightly scalded hand a little bewildered. It was a good thing all those calluses offered some protection. He finally just let out an exasperated sigh as he reached for a cup towel to mop up the spilled liquid--more for something to do with his hands than because he was really interested in cleaning just then.
"I guess I should be relieved to know I'm not your only target, I guess. But really, you need to learn some personal boundaries. One of these days you will really get yourself expelled, you know."

He kept his gaze away from him, sure that he was going to fling hot tea on him or slap him or something. Even if he was lying, he would still deserve it. It wasn't like he didn't do something like that before... Sure, he was punished pretty thoroughly already, but that didn't mean he didn't deserve more.
He flinched when he heard the glass shatter, looking over to see what happened. He gave Mr. Gray a concerned frown when it finally registered in his mind that he broke the cup with his hand. He wanted to run over to check if his hand was burnt or cut at all, but he doubted he wanted anything to do with him now.
"Sh-should I leave...?" He asked, completely ashamed of himself. He didn't want Mr. Gray to be bothered by having him around. But if he wanted him to stay so he could smack him around a little bit, he was fine with that too. "No," Gray said, finishing with the clean up of his shattered cup. Damn. He thought he'd gathered all the pieces so he'd just fix it. But...damn. Annoying. "Why would I make you leave? Because you aren't a perfect Human being--er--demon...all the time?" He sighed again and went to hand Rose the cup.
"Why do you always do that? It's as if you expect I'm going to start hitting you because you've made a mistake. I know I'm not the most scrupulous individual but after all this time do you really expect me to get violent toward you?"

Rose flinched when Mr. Gray came over with his cup of tea, still expecting him to splash the hot liquid on him. But, nope, he didn't. He took the cup with shaking hands as he mumbled a small 'thank you'.
"I-I don't expect that you would hurt me... I hope for it," It sounded odd, but it was true. He knew Mr. Gray wouldn't be violent with him no matter what he did, but sometimes he wished that he would. It wasn't as though he would enjoy it or anything. He would hate it of course, but he wanted to be punished. If he got what he felt that he deserved, he wouldn't have to feel so guilty all the time. That's why he never really moped about all of his scars from the past, because he tied each and every one with something he did. In fact, he recently decided the two gunshot wounds were for breaking into Mr. Gray's wagon more than twice and for making him worry that he would die. And now he needed a scar for making Mr. Gray burn his hand with tea, and until he had that, he would feel guilty. ❤═━.¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸..¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸..¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸..¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸..¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸..¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸.━═❤

"You hope...what?" Gray said, slightly aghast. "Hey, if that is what you're looking for, you should look elsewhere, Rose. I do not get off on hurting others. It's not really my thing. And really, have more respect for yourself than that. I believe you deserve significantly better than to be pushed around and beat up by some jackass on a daily basis."
Gray felt a little ill at the idea that Rose was hoping for that from him. Just...why? Gray may not be a nice man, but he was not the sort that enjoyed hurting people. That was sick. And he was just not that much of a deviant.

It was nice to hear that he cared so much for him, but really, how could he be so forgiving? He broke into his wagon on multiple occasions, stalked him, nearly got him shot, frustrated him on nearly a daily basis, and yet he still didn't feel any need to smack him. Honestly, if someone did that to him, he would have whacked them over the head with a broom multiple times.
"Sorry..." He mumbled, but that certainly wasn't enough. Maybe... he should do something nice for him instead of getting hurt? That sounded like a much better way to earn forgiveness. But what could he do? He would have to think about it. For now, he wanted to brighten the mood, because he hated the uneasy feeling lingering in the wagon.
