Dory blinked in surprise. "No..they don't talk to me at all... I mean, they sometimes send me mental images, but never words." she said. "They usually can't communicate with anyone other than the one who quickened them."

Javonne blinked, "....what? What do you mean? Can they just not? Or are they just being rude?" Javonne looked down at the little dragons in the water.

"They can't." Aaron interrupted, with his back still to them. "Minor dragons have a talent, acidic spit, and communication with just their 'mom' or 'dad'." He held a strange stone in his hands, turning it over his his palms. "For you to be able to talk to them...is unusual. It means..." he said, cutting off his sentence and straightening up.

"It means what?" said Javonne, leaning against the shore of the hotspring. "That maybe I can tame dragons too?"

As she got to the shore, she saw he was blushing a darker red this time, and shifted nervously. "No... It means that the person they're able to speak to will have a...s-special connection with the tamer." he replied.

Raolf walked along the top of the a high rock wall holding his arms out for balance. "Yata! What a wonderful day for exploring!" he said cheerfully to himself. He took a few more steps before stepping on a loose stone and began to lose his balance. "Whoaaaaa!!!" he said as he flailed his arms attempting to regain his balance. A few moments later he was careening down towards a hot spring. He took a deep breathe before making contact with the water in a huge splash.

Javonne blushed a little at what he said. Then she smiled and asked, "Oh...so... Was that your way of...asking me on a date?"

Aaron was about to answer, when he heard a splash. He leaped up, drawing his sword, and turned to the spring. He blushed darkly, but tried not to look shaken by seeing the girls without clothes. "Wh-who's there?!"

"Eeek!" said Javonne, grabbing a potion and breaking it into the water, causing bubbles to erupt all over the surface. "Who's there?!"

Dory got up and shifted to the other side of the spring, keeping herself covered. "Tch! This is why we need to go back, Aaron! I need my bow, you idiot!"

Javonne also covered herself, before leaning over to look in the water, "I wonder...who...or what it was..."

Raolf gasped as he broke the surface of the air. "Boy that was a close one," he said to himself, taking in his surroundings, "Eh?" He gawked slightly at the two ladies in the spring before turning bright red. "Gomen!" he shouted as he hastily covered his eyes, "I'm not a pervert! I promise!"

Aaron held his sword at Raolf and frowned, "Who are you? What do you want with this girl?" he asked, seeming to be protecting Javonne mostly.

Javonne gazed up at Aaron, while she covered herself in the foamy water. "Oh..." she looked impressed at Aaron's stance, looking a little dazed. Then she looked at Raolf. "Aaron? I don't think he was here for strictly me. Though...it is a bit suspicious that he 'accidentally' fell into a hot spring with a couple girls."
