"Hm. Yes. I've received word that you all would be needing to see him. Sizouze is holding a Divine Liturgy at this time...and I'm afraid I have orders to apprehend every one of you."
At the drop of her last word, the other robed Celestials drew their weapons. The nine of them would fan out, each warrior standing firm as they dared to oppose Wyndom and his team. Alexandria remained still, hesitating to draw her blade as she hoped that her targets would simply do as they were told at this point. However she wouldn't hope for the best as she assumed each man to be highly dangerous.
"I'll have to reintroduce myself. I'm Alexandria of the High Council. We will not allow you to advance."
Staring back at Wyndom, Alexandria's gaze had sharpened as if sensing his emotions. All around this woman was strange. Lucas did not mention anything about the Council getting involved, especially in such a way as this!
-- The setting was simple at first glance. Wyndom, Negi, Kain, and Avery were standing within a hallway. The architectural designing gave both advantages and disadvantages equally. At the end of the hall were two giant doors. However pushing forward would mean engaging Alexandria's group. To the left, for every three windows a fourth window was missing. Peering down, one could see that there were at least two other levels below and above. There was a rather large courtyard outside but taking the action down there would mean attracting more trouble. Ahead several yards and to the right was another door. This is where Alexandria and her group came from. That would simply lead to another hallway.
The halls themselves were wide enough to comfortably allow all nine members of Alexandria's group to stand side by side. The ceiling reached to about 10 feet high. By now the halls had been cleared of most people leaving both groups to face off without worry of involving others. --
Alexandria would step back and allow her group to step forward. If Wyndom and his team didn't resist they'd simply be bound by the wrists and escorted away from Sizouze's church. But there was no doubt that a fight was about to begin. Everyone knew it, the tension was becoming too much! There was about to be a showdown in the Capital Cathedral!
Wyndom and his team would need to fight to advance!

Devil-Steel "Well enough talk of death, it looks as if we have arrived."
The Temple of Fenrir looked more like a city than your average temple. But that wasn't going to change their mission. Of course Oni would let out a small sigh, the hassle had only grown due to how much area they now had to search, and they didn't even know what they were looking for. And the blizzard in the area had decreased the visablity to almost zero.
"We don't even know what we are looking for and this blizzard isn't helping anything." ((Repost for Ki and Skittles.))

~:'þɹɐƃʎᴎ ɯðþµʎM':~ Taken aback, Wyndom was left with very few choices, and ideas raced through his head quickly. Even simply walking away and attacking the problem from a different angle occurred to him, but with swords already drawn, the battle was upon everyone whether they liked it or not. Negotiations were out the window, and Wyndom knew...well...nothing about his comrades fighting abilities, he was ill-prepared. Choosing the only viable option before him, Wyndom would gently press down on his right wrist, not exactly sure what would happen, but aware that Lucas would receive the signal and realize things had indeed gone south on their part. How had Alexandria heard of them already? News travels quickly indeed... Wyndom hoped they were faring better with Aaron.
"I'd hoped it wouldn't come to this...but I see there is no dissuading you."
Allowing a small sigh to escape from his lips, Wyndom would grip Tenbatsu, his katana; but then he seemed to think otherwise, and relaxed his grip before allowing his hand to fall back to his side. It seemed wrong to fight these beings who felt like allies, but their mission was more important, and capture was inexcusable. Wyndom assumed everyone would remember not to kill if possible, so he chose not to reiterate it.
Stepping back to join his team, Wyndom would make no threatening gestures - he wouldn't be the one to start this fight.

[Location: Aaron's Domain]
"Well, well! What an honor it is for Lord Lucas to grace us with his presence. Truly, this is a pleasure."
The moment Lucas and Raven stepped into the room they would be within the presence of Aaron. His six wings were spread wide, light pouring through the window behind him to cast the Seraph's shadow over Lucas and his Vanguard. Aaron stood a good fifty feet away from the two as he looked down upon Lucas and Raven. His words came out sharp, almost as if in mockery of the Imperfect One and his Vanguard.
Lucas himself simply stood still, carefully looking to Aaron with an unamused smile. Lucas wasn't one to let himself become taunted into anything without being properly prepared. Unfortunately the intimidating presences of Aaron was almost too much to take! And it was more unfortunate that Lucas couldn't knock him down a few pegs. Raven would understand that although Lucas was at the highest position in Heaven, Aaron was easily one of the most powerful entities in this realm.
"I did not mean to be so sudden with my appearance, Aaron. I'm sure you'll understand."
"Oh, no need to explain yourself, Lucas. I'm fully aware of what is to come."
As a Seraph, Aaron's capabilities were frighteningly high. However Lucas was not fully aware of how much power Aaron had. However Lucas did sense a very unnerving possibility. The Council could have lead Lucas and his team into a trap. And when it came to Lucas' gut about things he was usually right.
Although it would be sudden it would not come as a surprise to the Imperfect One. A rune would light up above as well as beneath Lucas and Raven. Metal rods would manifest from the floor and shoot up into the ceiling to trap them both. The Imperfect One simply kept his ground as he eyed the bars in front of him. Even the bars had runes etched into them.
"I've had word that you'd be coming here. Sizouze really is amazing. His spiritual aptitude allows him to see into the future. You should really meet him but I'll be making sure you stay put for now."
"Seriously, Aaron? I always knew I was walking on thin ice with Heaven but I didn't expect a Celestial like you to act so foolishly."
"I'm not the fool here, Lucas. It was never your place to take command. It was all a mistake."
"......Even so-" Lucas' emotions were becoming conflicted however his thoughts were interrupted by the sensation of his wrist being pressed. This was the signal that there was trouble on Wyndom's end of things. This whole ordeal was becoming laughable, granted the situation was becoming grim. Lucas would glance around for a moment, spotting about eight more guards arrive to bring the guard count up to 12.
"Even so, I'm still responsible for this realm, Aaron. I'm not sure how deep your scheme is rooted within the Council but this is a decision you will be paying for..." Lucas looked to Raven a moment before taking a step away from her. Although the runes were sapping their strength it would not be enough to keep Lucas trapped.
"Absolute...Impact!" Lucas' fist would glow magnificently as he suddenly crouched down to punch the floor. An explosion of flames and debris would rocket downwards as Lucas focused the kinetic energy from the heat around his fist at the moment of impact. A cloud of dust would mask Raven and Lucas' fall but Aaron was much too wise to underestimate those two.
"I didn't think it would be this easy..." Smiling to himself, Aaron turned to one of his guards. He'd nod, signaling for the guard to carry on with an unspoken order...
--
Lucas and Raven would fall to the floor below, oddly falling into a stairwell. The exit was blocked off by the debris made by Lucas earlier. The only way to go was down. There was no telling how deep the path lead to or if there were other exits. The stairwell was dark, ill-lit considering that most of Yabbashael was illuminated properly. The stairwell was large enough for three people to stand side by side comfortably.
"I...didn't expect to fall to a place like this? I may have underestimated Aaron. I think we've been transported to a much lower level of Yabbashael."
Lucas had spread out his [Second Skin], essentially using his radar technique to map out the surrounding area. Invisible beams of light would sweep through the hall as he tried to guess where they were. He could not sense anyone's presence, nor could he wrap his head around simply falling one floor down to this area. "Wyndom was also in trouble...hopefully not as much as us. Let's get going...I'll try and help Wyndom as we move along."
Lucas would touch his wrist and close his eyes to focus. He still had a connection to everybody and he would utilize it now to contact. Now seeing as Wyndom did, Lucas would be able to realize that Wyn was facing a group of guards and a woman. Wyndom would feel the spot over his wrist become warmer as a message formed. It would read, "We've all been set up and lead into a trap. The Virtue is still our top priority. With the Second Skin I can see your surroundings but my assistance is limited. I would suggest acting first before your opponents do."

With a most unlady-like grunt Raven hoisted herself to her feet and dusted herself surcoat off. She groped in the dim light for Naga, grasping the Mahogany shaft. She chose to step ahead of Lucas--the ascending stairwell blocked by the debris. Having fallen into silence, she felt not need to speak, bu to listen. Every nerve was on higher alert than before; Despite her earlier awe of Aaron's domain, she remembered why she was distrusting of chambers like that: They always seemed to consist of being a trap. Raven disliked being caged, but she disliked being deceived even more. The virtue of Truth was one she had come to appreciate from Roan.
She slunk ahead of Lucas, the uniform she had originally arrived to Hell in began to shimmer and warp, altering itself into another equipped outfit. She chose to wear the traditional uniform of OXY; a black leather bodysuit enforced by the tiny steel plates. Her footsteps felt heavy, assuredly guiding her further down the wide area. She wanted to branch out with her mind and feel through her bond with Jesta' what was happening. She checked her reflex to do so when she reflected on Aaron's remark that their arrival had been foreseen. Knowing well enough from her Daemon's ability to see past, present, and future it was best to shift conscious decisions constantly. Time itself was always shifting, and paths and roads diverted at breakneck speed and oft without warning. The more she shifted her decisions, the less easy it would be to be kept track of, abilities not withstanding.
She slowed her pace and fell back to sidle next to Lucas's left, her head tilted slightly. She cocked an ear behind them, her gaze focused ahead of them. All at once, her Naginata disappeared in a shimmer of silvery light, splitting into two halves and solidifying into a dual pair of Sai. She felt better having a close-range weapon in such a space despite it's width. For all she knew they could be ambushed by guards from either side. She wanted to be able to disarm and have room to advance without hindering what little space they had.

Negi would just stand there as Wyndom would step back. As he gripped and released his katana he would notice that didn’t want to fight unless needed to. It was just by his posture that the summoner could tell. Putting a hand on Wyndom’s shoulder and would pull it to where he would be facing the enemy, but also him. Negi would say, “This isn’t the time, or place to be worrying about hurting someone. This is for all of our realms, and we are committed to make it right. If they stand in our way they are making themselves our enemies! They may have used to be your allies, and still might be but we have a mission that we must complete.”
Letting go of him, Negi would then pull his Scythe off of his back. He would then position himself so his was facing the group that opposed them. Holding the scythe as if it were a staff, but with the blade down. Standing on the balls of his feet, he would widen his stance a bit and then slightly bend his knees.
This was all for Earth, Negi’s new but old found home. He would protect it as if it was his own kin, and if someone stood in his way of protecting it he would even take the lives of many.
“Let me know when you all are ready.” He would stand with his allies ready to pounce like the tiger he was to get this started, and to end this.

Kira would walk next to his allies and glance around, The air ever so cold compaired to what he was used too, How he missed the summer. Walking Along side Oni the blizzard was quite strong, Kira did not like the cold weather muchless hated the ice land he was in with Raven chasing the Angel from way back. Unable to sniff the air as well, cause of the cold Kira slowed down his pace and covered his nose with his right hand.
"Ice...Why does it always have to be ice."
Gripping his blade with his left hand, a small aura would cover Kira in a small layer of fire as long as he held his sword. Glancing around trying to look for anything that would aid them was no good, Even if Kira was warm, He still could not see anything. Turning to Oni as he Speaks removing his right hand from his mouth and placing it on his hip.
"What are we looking for anyways? I can't smell or see anything in this Blizzard, I also feel uneasy like we are being watched."
Looking around he can barely make out Oni and Desd as he Looks for anything that may just be out of the blue, But what did Kira feel? Or was the curse starting to cloud his senses?

~:'þɹɐƃʎᴎ ɯðþµʎM':~ Luckily Negi had guessed wrong. Wyndom refrained from drawing his katana as he didn't intend to use it, yet. When things started, Wyndom would not hesitate in the slightest - hesitation brought about death to friends - and that wasn't something Wyndom wished for.
Very well, Light. Wyndom would think, hoping it got back to Lucas somehow.
Disregarding his former thoughts and quickly realizing that time was of the essence here, especially since now Lucas was in trouble, Wyndom would not wait for Kain or Avery to prepare themselves. Allowing electricity to flow out from his feet, it would begin rapidly expanding outwardly from his feet in a 360 degree circle just beneath the surface of the ground. The electricity would stretch out and then double back on itself, returning to Wyndom with information it had gathered, acting much like a treadmill. Each time it was sent out it would expand larger and larger, quickly growing in size to a 10 foot diameter. It would remain connected to Wyndom until he allowed it to fully expand and cover as much area as he felt necessary. Only then would it detach itself and continuously feed off Wyndom's electricity stores in his belt. Until then, and even after, it would be continually replenishing whatever energy was lost once it returned to Wyndom. This electricity would act as a small form of radar, bringing back the location and movements of everything it touched lightning fast. It was a lot of information to sort out much like Lucas's Second Skin, but Wyndom had grown accustomed to it many years ago, and could easily filter out the unimportant things like white static.
Now that Wyndom's signature Electrical Treadmill was falling into place, it would reach their opponents underneath the surface, illuminating them on Wyndom's mock radar. Surely one of them would notice and alert the others, but that was of little concern to Wyndom. For now no harm would come to anyone standing inside of the ever growing circle. All this time Wyndom had kept his eyes fixated on Alexandria, more or less ignoring the other guards. Suddenly he would slash his right hand horizontally in front of his body, a gust of wind rushing out in their direction. It was wide enough to hit all of the guards, encompassing the entire width of the hallway they resided in. It was chest high, and would reach them in just over a second. Should they fail to dodge, block, absorb, or counter it, the wind would act as a giant blade and slice into their bodies. If they wore no armor they were in danger of being cut almost half way through! If they chose to dodge, the air would simply race past them and dissipate as Wyndom released his control over it.
The fight had begun.

After Negi spoke and urged action, and Wyndom sprung his own surprise attack, and should any of the enemies remain, a voice would speak up from behind the two "Stand aside." It wasn't Kain; however, it was instead Avery, but unlike before it wasn't using Oni's voice. He seemed to have gained a voice of his own, but for now it wasn't clear if he was referring to them or the opposing forces. Avery then made his way forward, brushing past Wyndom and then even Negi to stand in front of the group facing the direction they needed to head - the direction that Alexandria was blocking. Avery - his face hidden by a mask, and his body covered in a thick winter coat, would c**k his head to one side. as he eyed their opponents. "Stand aside, or be removed." This time it was obvious he was referring to Alexandria and her goons, and his posture showed obvious aggression. Unlike Wyndom, he would didn't have anything holding him back from wiping anything out his path: good or evil.
Meanwhile, Kain would move up behind Wyndom, placing his hand on his shoulder and whispered to him "If we three focus all our efforts to move past, we can most likely puncture through them and continue on our way. Avery can handle this."

(( I'll try and make keeping track of each guard easy. ))
[Showdown at Capital Cathedral!]
The battle had begun by Wyndom's hand and the taunting of Avery would kick things into high gear! All nine guards would dash forward, flipping over or ducking under the blade of wind Wyndom sent out. Three of the guards would focus on Avery while the other six would attempt to move around him. Since Kain, Negi, and Wyndom were essentially sticking close to each other, the six guards would attempt to quickly surround them. Each Guard had a longsword but they all seemed to lack equipment or other weapons. The only thing to protect them were their cloaks apparently. Rather they were foolish or brave was yet to be decided as they all went in for the attack!
Guard(1) moved swiftly as he had ducked under the wind. He'd erect himself and stab his blade forward to pierce into Avery's gut. Guard(2) had flipped and was landing to Avery's right. Stepping forward and slashing his blade out to try and cut into Avery's right arm, Guard(2) would be attacking moments after Guard(1). Guard(3) had also jumped over the wind and was moving to Avery's left side. However he would hesitate to attack. His blade was kept up as he held it with both hands.
Guard(4) flipped into the air to dodge the wind and would continue his acrobatics towards Negi. Twisting himself into the air the guard would come down on Negi, slashing his blade down at Negi's right shoulder. Guard(5) had ducked under the wind and had ran behind Guard(4). As Guard(4) was coming down Guard(5) would step to Negi's right but hesitate to attack. Guard(6) had ducked under the wind and was running straight for Wyndom. Flipping his sword around, Guard(6) would attempt to use the hilt of his sword to hit Wyndom at the base of his sternum. Guard(7) had also ducked and was running alongside Guard(6). Guard(7) would sweep his sword up to try and cut into Wyndom's left side. Guard(8 ) and Guard(9) had ducked and would rush towards Kain. Both of their swords were held to try and pierce Kain in both shoulders.
Although each guard had advanced, Alexandria would look to Avery, Wyndom, Negi, and then Kain. The blade of wind was fast approaching her yet she did not move as her guards did. Alexandria held her position and simply waved her left hand up as if to swat at Wyndom's blade of wind. Sparks of energy flared away from the impact of the wind against her golden gauntlet, plumes of divine fire burning to life for a mere moment. Now with her left side perpendicular to her opponents, Alexandria kept her left arm up. She would notice the illumination beneath everyone's feet but this didn't seem to bother her.
"I pray, my will is my fortitude. By my will I stand."
After her prayer, particles of light would manifest at each of Alexandria's sides. The only thing that seemed certain was that her prayer was only effecting her and not her guards...

To much surprise to most likely every onlooker, Avery wouldn't budge from his standing, but would manage to dodge the strike at his gut - his mid section just twisting like a plastic bottle, causing the blade to pass by within inches of running Avery through - hopefully Guard(1) was at least stunned by the sight enough that Avery could manage to bring about his left leg in a sweeping kick square to his jaw. Meanwhile the blade from Guard(2) would slice into Avery's right arm, but would go through. Of course, instead of blood coming out, a green gel-like material would splatter not only on the sword, but all over the guard's cloak and whatever skin that was exposed.
Ultimately the sword would become lodged into his arm, and no amount of force the Guard could produce would be enough to dislodge it, and with the momentum produced from the kick Avery would attempt to spin his whole body, which would of course force the Guard to either release the weapon or follow it. The main goal for Avery at the moment was to face Guard(3).
Should Guard(3) attack during all of this, his own sword would become in-lodged in Avery's body, and the green gel-like material would also spray all over the Guard, just like with Guard(2). Should the Guard continue to refrain, Avery would hopefully come to face this opponent. Should it all work as planned, Guard(1) would still be reeling from the severe blow from Avery, Guard(2) would be covered in Avery's essence, and either drug along with the sword, or sent away weaponless. Without time to cover, Avery would be facing the 3rd Guard 1-1, or at least for the instance.
Unfortunately, all of this was still most likely enough time for even a basic trained warrior to react to, but should Guard(3) still be where he was from the start, Avery's midsection would finally uncoil, with an extremely violent and rapid velocity Avery's upper body would spin, and thus bringing the sword with it. Ultimately, the sword lodged in his arm would swing about with his body, and hit the Guard with enough force to hopefully break his (left?) arm.

The drop in temperature was eminent. Desdemonia could feel the air in her lungs like an invading spirit before leaving her body in a hazy cloud around her lips. Even the earth beneath her feet felt like a solid piece of ice. Though her senses were working up to their usual par, however the erratic snowflakes and moving wind currents were debilitating her sense of smell. It was all one giant mound of frozen water every where her head turned. There were even a few times she had to outstretch her hand to touch Oni and Kira's arms, clothing or hair to ensure that she had not wandered away from the group.
It was only a matter of time before her senses were able to stabilize enough to feel three feet in front of her face. After which she was confidant enough to walk beside them without fear of being left wandering in what felt to be a frozen wasteland. Before long three feet of sight turned to ten and then the whole area lost its previous perilous feel. "Is this a city?" She asked above the sound of the storm. Desdemonia sniffed the air around her and turned towards Oni's voice. "I smell... Oil and phosphorous gas. And subsequently garbage." She scrunched her nose up at the smell, regardless of how often the blizzard blew it away giving her a period of crisp frozen water. (Yes, even that had a particular smell.)
"Just to make sure that I understand what it is that we are doing here. We have, in what smells like an entire city, to find something of great importance and not a single one of us knows what it looks like?" Desdmonia licked her lips to keep them from cracking and shifted her feet so that they no longer sunk down into the cold mounds of snow. Honestly, it sounded like a terrible adventure but if it was important the last thing they ought to be doing is complaining about it. "I do have to hand it to the person responsible for this. If you want to hide something from everyone else, I would do it by keeping its appearance a secret and then throwing it in a place like this."
"So what is the plan then? Split up and cover a portion of ground? Or keep together? Either way, standing here seems... unproductive."

~:'þɹɐƃʎᴎ ɯðþµʎM':~ Bending his knees slightly, Wyndom's focus would turn to Guards (6) and (7). Turning his body to face Guard(7), Wyndom would release a violent gust of wind while simultaneously jumping backwards and out of the way - straight into Guard(6)! Wyndom would time this so that he would rocket back into the guard before either had fully reached him, hopefully catching Guard(6) unawares, but even if he managed to strike out at Wyndom with the hilt of his sword, it wouldn't leave Wyndom with much damage at all.
Intending to tumble backwards onto the ground, Wyndom would anticipate rolling backwards to a squat just behind Guard(6)'s head. Should this be the outcome, Wyndom would utilize another element, lacing his right fist with electricity before pummeling it directly at the guards nose, intending to shatter it and likewise send electricity shooting through the guard, paralyzing him. Wyndom didn't expect this attack to hit, so if it smashed into the ground he would simply remove his fist and stand up.
If Guard(6) wasn't knocked over, Wyndom would blindly drive his left elbow backwards in the hopes of hitting the guards stomach before twirling away to the left if unhindered. He would finish his 360 degree spin making sure to face Guard(6), but was also keeping his attention on Guard(7) via his electrical treadmill. Guard(7)'s movement would not be unnoticed by Wyndom, and he was ready for the guard to rush in at anytime.
Wyndom's treadmill would continue to expand outwardly, and what was hard to notice before could hardly be over looked now - there were clouds forming inside the cathedral?! A small wisp of cloud would hang several feet above each and every person in the building, friend and foe alike. This would be more of Wyndom's doing, but currently the clouds posed no threat. They would begin slowly expanding like the treadmill.

Seeing how all of his comrades would be taking action, Negi would just stand there and wait for guard (4), and (5). As the sword of guard (4) came down, he would turn three hundred and sixty degrees to the right moving out of the way of the blade. As he came around, Negi’s scythe would be swung around and would be aimed at guard (4)’s abdomen in the back. If anything would hit first it would be the tip of the scythe, and with the forward motion of the guard it would have sent him forward even faster. The most that would be damaged would be dealt would be being stabbed in the back, but not enough to be killed.
Instantly after swinging around and swinging at the guard, Negi would jump over guard (4) letting go of his scythe, and would twist in the air to prepare his next for of action. He would be positioned just above guard (5) facing down in mid-air slowly descending so it seemed. Then he would twist his body in one more movement, and then he would kick at the other guard in the face while he was hesitating.
When Negi would land on the ground, he would hop once and then get into a kick boxing stance. Shuffling around so when they recover he would be ready, but in between his hands an arc would occur allowing electricity through his hands. The summoner was preparing to ready his next assault.

"I think we should stay toget.."
Oni's scentece would be cut short by a sudden pain in his abdomen. His hand would move to the source of the pain only to feel his own blood and find a small icicle imbedded within. Oni would pull the icicle free from his body and let out a low growl. It was clear to him now that they weren't alone, and that whoever, or whatever was here didn't plan on letting them leave alive.
"Stay on your toes, we aren't alone here. And it looks like our enemy can control ice."
Damnit, if I can't see my enemy how can I expect to fight him! This going to get on my nerves quick, with so much ice around we could die without ever seeing the attack coming! Oni was furious for being hit without the slightest hint of an attack. This blizzard was the cause of it, and there was nothing that he could do about it himself. Looks like I have no choice in the matter.
"DAMNIT! AOWA!"
By calling out it's name Aowa, Oni's Summon Spirit of Ice, would form directly behind him with all three of it's heads bowed. Aowa felt at home in this blizzard but from the blood on the ground knew that Oni was in trouble.
"Let me guess you want me to do something about this blizzard?"
Aowa could easily get rid of the blizzard and even out the playing field, but he wouldn't act without his masters approval or orders.
"No. I want you to stay by our side and only act when you feel an attack. I don't want your power to be given away to quickly. Until you can find who or what is out there, only use your power to protect the three of us. The second you find the one attacking us, get rid of the blizzard so that we can see them."
Aowa would nod, not that anyone would notice, and would remain still behind the group. He had his orders and was on defense for now.
