Alkaid's pain consumed her, the screams from her own mouth seemed like they were from some far away place and another person entirely. Thoughts had ceased, feelings had ceased, in the darkness of Alkaid's mind there was only the pain.
Then Nemesis' was gone, her support was gone, and Alkaid fell in a crumpled heap on the ground. Her screams grew less feral and began to stop all together, leaving her nothing more than a sobbing mess as the youma soared down and landed with a crash nearby. Her body began to mend itself, first muscle and then skin. She lay there for a few seconds more as she pain began to fade, leaving her feeling bruised and broken but alive.
She pushed herself to her feet, her hair and skin once more intact, but her fuku little more than a bare thread across her back. Then her eyes found Nemesis, the dark angel that had been so willing to give her death when she had asked for it.
But now she knew her purpose again.
She hissed low, beneath her breath, and ran after the senshi of decay. Like with Requiem before, she tried to stop the rubble that Nemesis was chunking at the dark phoenix, but this time she really was far too slow - she never even got near her before that rock was soaring through the air.
So instead, she turned her attention solely onto Nemesis. She went from running, then straight into a jump, and aimed to tackle the senshi of decay while her back was still turned.

Oh hell no.
Gianfar suddently had a angry phoenix chick in between him and his target, and Fluorite shieked something as she dove to try to peck his face.
He wasn't doing the youma in !

Mica abruptly returned to her sense and felt vaguely ill; had she really attacked the Phoenix? The Phoenix who had landed on a rooftop, looking weak and nearly done? That was wrong, so very wrong. And now, her fellow officers were changing, turning into Youma like Tanzanite. Deciding not to risk her mental health by further contemplating this, Mica simply tried to stop the nearest Senshi from attacking the Phoenix, but another one of her comrades beat her to Gianfar.

Sailor Merope slowly shook his head, small flakes of ash slowly flying off of him. It was easier to move his head now he realized, following up the motion to slowly bring his arms up. His hands quickly tried to dust himself off as best as he could, his movements becoming faster and faster until they caught up to real time. Almost. His movements were still frustatingly slow, and the pain in his leg showed no sign of letting up.
Sound, thankfully, was unhampered by the Corrupted Ash-Senshi's attack. "Peaceful?" He growled, "You have no right to it. YOU were the ones who attacked us first! YOU were the ones who killed the innocents! YOU were the ones who started all this! So much for your righteousness! There is nothing left; the only way to end this will be with your destruction and death!"
He had opened his mouth to say something more before the ground trembled beneath his feet. A sudden gust of something rushed through him; Merope felt as if he was drowning underwater, only to surface and breath in a great lung full of clean air. He stared at his opponent. What... What was happening to her?!
Quickly Merope dusted himself off of the remaining ashes and began to run with an awkward gait, teeth grit against the pain. He had to get to that youma!

Hel reared up on her hind legs spreading her wings wide, in her chest was a glowing hole just like her human state. Glowing with power she spread her wings wide taking two hard beats to send her flying towards Merope. Her claws opened wide as she came crashing down on Merope.
He would not harm Tanz. She would do this to protect her, she would peck and claw at Meropes back, each strike ripping at his clothes as she let out a piercing howl of rage.

As his form settled around him, Ilmenite's skin stopped crawling, and all at once he didn't feel heartsore or afraid. This felt right, natural, comfortable.
He took two flying steps and threw himself into Nemesis's path.
Except it wasn't as natural as he'd expected it to be: wings flapped awkwardly, he stumbled back to earth.

Just as she had gotten close to the great bird, she was startled to see it was moving. It was so hurt though...it should have...saved....its...strength? And just like that, the illusion was lifted. What on earth had she been thinking? The 'great bird' was a terrible youma. Perseus had the common decency to look cowed at her mistake.
She wasn't downtrodden for very long, however. Perseus, champion of the light, still had a job to do. And she would be damned if she didn't see it through until the end. The girl didn't know why this sequence of events was happening, but she knew she could try and stop it at the very least.
Picking up more debris around her, the sailor flung as much rubble as she could in the general direction of the dragon. Hopefully the frenzied madness of this battle wouldn't continue on much longer.

Indeed, Themis wasn't trying to kill her anymore.
No, he was laying on top of her, looking positively and completely dumbfounded, pale blue eyes going wider and wider by the second as his mind reeled around what had just happened.
Whatever that spike had been had finally decided to evacuate his system. His face went BRIGHT RED and off her he went.
What the hell ?!

Wait, no-- the creature was evil, evil as anything! The Senshi of Medicine skid to a halt, stumbling slightly on the fractured pavement. She and the other senshi were supposed to be destroying it, not defending it.
And then she saw other smaller copies of the creature appearing around her. The faster they could bring down the monster, the better.
Asclepius grabbed the first throwable piece of rubble she could find and flung it at the Great Youma with a cry.

Lyra was so focused on the BIG bird, that she failed to notice the s**t tons of tiny ones that were popping up around her. That was until she looked around, and caught sight of a white haired negaverser turning into a little...bird.
And then there was one with glowing eyes....
"...... The big bird sure loves to make offspring." She called out, eyes narrowing at the masses. What to do... she should pay attention to the LARGER bird first... maybe the little ones would go away.
She did not notice zink approaching her.

Flung back, (again, man that bird was a b***h, thank goodness he was good when dealing with rejection), Castor was lucky his second wing remained whole.
But then like a click in his brain, he knew something was off. He'd tried to mount the phoenix. He'd tried to mount the thing that had been Tanz. He'd tried to mount the last thing he could call Tanz. Tanz was not something Castor would have normally considered mounting. He wasn't that crazy.
Shaking his head, Castor ran forward, fist clenched. He had a job to do. And by god he was going to do it.

YES! Yes, he could do this! Gianfar pushed off the ground and into the air, arm raised and ready to strike at the Black Phoenix. Instead he found himself being pecked in the face. "STUPID bloody..!" Gianfar swatted the phoenix away and hit the ground, landing on his knees. He hopped back up onto his feet and picked up another rock, throwing it as high and as hard as he could. He was going to stop at nothing to destroy this youma.

Requiem finally gained the strength to pick herself up. Her leg was still entirely limp, but she pulled the spike out of her leg, even more blood pouring out like a crimson waterfall. She wrapped it with a piece of her sleeve and from the ground, she tossed the spike with her full force back at the Black Phoenix as she felt her self white out and faint.

Fluorite the bird wasn't giving up that easily.
She screeched as she was swatted away, but she charged back, trying to hit the rock with her body, deviate it, everything, anything !
She couldn't let the black phoenix die.
She couldn't...
