Jericho, seeing the goal so close, the dragon sped up and sure enough... he made it! With a victorious roar, he fell to his knees for the moment, feeling completely exhausted from having run so much in the past few minutes. Once he felt he had at least caught his breath, he slowly got up and tried to see where the pendant was.
His body was shaky, but damn he felt good for defeating the blasted road.

If Sin had ever seen lemmings throwing themselves off a cliff she would probably have been amused by this similar scene. Then again considering some of these boils and ghouls were sort of friends she was not amused one bit by how dangerous all that vanishing and reappearing looked. She had though that most would stop after a try or two but they kept flinging themselves across. What was so important about getting to the other side anyway? Was all of this madness just to reach that pendant? Her expression became more and more concerned and then she heard Malodore's pup whimper and she moved away from her gravestone perch.
"Malodore, how about you leave Luce with me if your going to try again? This seems to be upsetting her?"
