Amelia turned to look at her new friend, ”Nothing bad could happen to me, but what about them?” Still the statement helped ease her fear. She was good at hiding it; her father’s “reminders” helped her maintain control over her facial appearances.

Ginelle didn't think about that. Something could happen to the thing that was screeming. She stood up, and began to walk around the greenhouse. She didn't look at Amelia when she got up, she just began to examine it. The screams were getting very faint, and they were changing direction, just with the wind. That could have been Ginelle's mind screwing with her head, but that was her assumption. She closed her eyes, feeling the pattern of the wind. There didn't seem to be one, only that the wind was stronger coming from one direction. "Interesting..."

Amelia stayed quiet as she watched Ginny circle the greenhouse. A few times she winced as the panic level spiked, creating a sharper scream, then fell back down. She wanted to help, but didn't know what to do. Someone in this class had to know what it was; Olli and her were new. She'd done the report on Gillyweed, but thats---wait. "Screechsnaps, those things you guys grew, what did they do?" by their name they fit whatever was happening quite well, but she needed confirmation.

(Keep thinking about the plants guys, but just think about its basic necessities and discussing. )
There was a blast of light from a corner and in those few seconds, brown, shrivelled umbrella flowers for drifting to the floor. They seemed as though they had run out of the energy and will to stay afloat in the air. Other plants were turning pale and less vibrant in colour.
Within a short amount of time in the glass room, the plants had grown in the direction of the sink.
The flash of light was gone, and the darkness returned.

Ginelle watched the magical plants carefully. After watching them blow in one singular direction, and stretch that way, Ginelle looked very carefully in that one direction of the room. She saw one plant fall over, causing her to jump. Then, she looked where it fell. Into the sink."Ammy! They need water!" She ran over to the sink and grabbed a watering can, then began to fill it quickly with water. "But... do they all need water...?" She dropped the can, seeing all of the plants in the room. There were just so many...

Amelia nearly hit herself. Well, duh! They were plants. Amelia had been thinking of them as people, not plants. Shaking her head at her stupidity, she put her hand on Ginny's back. "I'm glad one of us is thinking. If we do them one group at a time...it shouldn't be too bad. Let's start with the loud ones." she complimented, before looking around. She started following her senses, to the Screechsnaps. They were larger than when she'd noticed them with Olli. It was as if they loomed over her small frame. They were various shades of pink and red, and the petals cupped together to form a mouth of sorts. It was more a tunnel, like a megaphone, to amplify the sounds. Which were currently ear bursting. She wished she'd brought her earmuffs. Turning around, she quickly returned to Ginelle and Olli's side, her hearing distorted. In a voice louder than usual, she agreed, "The screechsnaps; Sure they need water, but they're moving around too much for us to use a watering can." She frowned trying to explain, "We can't use Aguamenti, since it's too random....we'll need a spell that's direct, like controlled water?" Her gaze turned to Olli, questioning if anything like that rang a bell.
((I totally made up the description. Anything anyone wants me to change, I will.))

At the mention of water, the plants made a sound similar to how a human would squeal in delight. It seemed like the plants wanted water in any shape or form from the way they more energetically thrashed around.

((Dang, I wanted her to learn the new spell. Alright, can someone still use it, so she can learn it?))
Amelia jumped, surprised that the plants seemed to understand her. Trying to keep her voice steady, she shrugged, "Any type of water it is." Pulling out her wand once more, she cast, "Aguamenti," on the first try of writhing plants. Half of it was flung off in their excitement, onto her, causing her to squeal in quite a girlish manner. She hated being wet. Any way it happened, she hated it. Tugging her clothes away from her body, she tried to wring out the water. "Ew!" The screechsnaps were unhappy with her failure to continue. One leaned forward, snapping at her, and she jumped, having been absorbed in her state of wetness. With a sigh, feeling as if they wouldn't stop without it, she started to cast Aguamenti again. This time with her wand deeper into the plants so the leaves didn't reflect them.

Lena
Sudden gentle puffs of wind started blowing and Lena looked around her, trying to identify the source of it. It was dark around the greenhouse, and so she couldn’t see anything but black shapes impossible to identify. She heard some of the students beginning to speak to one another, evidently curious, as well as the rustling of leaves and she wondered if all the strange noises and wind was coming from a type of magical plant. She heard screeching once more and Lena noticed the air became suddenly very dry. The wind then changed direction, she could hear more rustling leaves and the screeching became louder as well as hollow and melancholy, making it sound as if it needed something. She was very curious and wondered what was happening, what was causing these strange differences in the greenhouse. Then, suddenly, it hit her. Screeching! Why didn’t I think of it before! Of course, they’re screechsnaps! Abruptly, she saw a blast of bright light from a corner and saw some plants in the greenhouse move and change in appearance. Students were still talking amongst themselves and as one of them mentioned water, the plants squealed in delight and began to move around excitedly. They want water? Looking at the plant, she saw a first year advance to it and try to water it using agumenti, only to find themself soaked in water because of all the plant's trashing around. As she walked quickly towards the student, she saw her attempt to water the plant once more. When she arrived to the first year Ravenclaw, she asked, Are you alright? And careful, I think those plants can be dangerous..

Amelia answered without thinking, "Naw, they're too eager for water to want to hurt us--well, except our ears." She gave the girl a smile as she tried Aquamenti again. This time both of them got wet, even though she'd stuck her wand deeper into the mass. "Shoot! This isn't working. Is there another water charm, that's more controlled?" her exclamation was half an apology for getting the Gryffindor wet. The little girl was starting to shiver, from her soaked clothes clinging to her small body. Turning she pointed her wand at the plants, and ordered in her sternest voice, "Stop that now! If you want water you're going to have to hold still." Surprisingly, though she didn't show it, their movements slowed.

The screechsnap plants called down, they hummed more gently in satisfaction. Upon closer inspection, it could be seen that they were pale, a light and faint green compared to their vivid bright, natural green. It was like the plants had adapted to the light change as quickly as the pupils of the wizards and witches.
(Amelia, maybe my knowledge of HP lacks, but is there really another water spell?)

((Sorry, I use the Harry Potter Wiki list of spells, so it's not exactly from memory. But there is another one, it's Aqua Eructo. It just is Aguamenti that is controlled. It's from the video game version of Goblet of Fire. I don't know if you guys don't use those spells or not....))
Amelia smiled, "They're getting better." But then she looked at their leaves. Could they be sick? Desperately she tried to think about what she'd learned in science class. Didn't plants without much sun turn paler? Since the sun made them green? Or something similar to that? Glancing back at the others she questioned everyone, "Do you think these guys need sun? Like Lumos Solem?" She'd spent the past night practicing the various Lumos spells, but she didn't practice Lumos Solem much, as it reflected off of the mirror in the dark bathroom and blinded her for seconds after she dispelled it. "Or we could take them outside..." she added lamely, lowering her head. She really felt unsure at the moment. All she knew was the plants were happier with the water. But would they start screeching again if it didn't lighten up? "Maybe they're good?" She suggested hopefully looking around for others to agree with her.

Olli Hufflepuff ; Fifth YearOlli narrowed her eyes as Ammy suggested the plants could be okay with just the water. By now, she had at least guessed that Ammy could understand or read emotions or thoughts or something of the sort. She glanced at her. "Do they feel happy?" she asked in a low whisper that only her friend could hear.
[ Wow, okay I missed alot. Sorry! ]

Amelia didn't think anything of the question; she merely answered it, "For now, but they need something else it's gotta be sunlight, right? She looked up toward the ceiling, frowning why wasn't more light coming through? She glanced down at her wand in her hands, trying to ignore the fact that she was shivering from her wet clothes. "Lumos Solem should work....we'll do it in that direction" away from everyone else, "so no one gets blinded...what do you think?" She looked at everyone else: she didn't want to be the only one making decisions, but she felt like she had to, in order to help the plants.

Olli Hufflepuff ; Fifth YearOlli nodded gravely. "Have you used that spell before?" she asked. She knew Ammy probably had more practice than herself with most versions of lumos, but she wondered if this had ever been attempted by her before.
