Cassie smiled a little, a lot of people didn't agree with photography in town settings. "I like old buildings and downtown is usually interesting weither or not its ment to be travled. See they usually have some pretty plants and the like. and sometimes just interesting people or i might see a bird. have you ever read national geographic?"
Fiona nodded and replied "yep its almost noon."

Bethan blushed and bit her lip. She tought it was only Tamuril and very smart people (like rocket scienists etc.) that could read but she was proven wrong in a single moment, unless this person was really that high up in her profession. Her voice became soft but no more quieter than it was before, "I can't.....i can't read anything, its all scribble to me" she sighed. It was common knowleage among her friends but then they were Tamurils too, not hers orginally. This was the first time she told anyone else. She waited nerviously for a response of any sort, flicking her tail from side to side.
((ooc: yeah, mouse girl picked up a few cat-like habits....))
Kain smiled to himself. It was going to be a long day today not just the rough morning he expected. He thought for a few minutes before asking another question. "Do you....remember being a fallen one?"

Cassie sighed softly "Good then you never saw that horrid artical on african lions. Fiona and I went to Africa for a while and i took pictures." Cassie didnt say anything about Bethan not being able to read. People had their reasons for everything and she wasnt about to make a big deal out of it. "Though the bats i photographed, those were cool i think i have some of them. . ." she started fishing through a bag at her side.
Fiona shook her head "Not really, the earliest thing i remember was laying on a stone, rain and Sandy."

"So you travel a lot then or just far?" she asked curiously leaning forward to try and get an earlier peek at the pictures. She was fond of bats ever since she heard of vampires. "Where did you find the bats? Don't say here in town...i havn't seen any since moving here...." she pulled out a new note for the waiter that would cover them both and held it on the table until they were served again.
The words sounded completely random to Kain except maybe the stone....that could be from right at the beginning. So not everyone forgot, they could remember back then. "hmm, it was raining while you were on that stone?" he asked coming to conclusions once more.

Cassie shrugged a little "Well yes i do travel, but not as much as i used to because i take Fiona with me and i dont want to take her to some of the dangerous shoots."she moved the pictures so Bethan could see them better "Well these particular bats migrated here from further north. They are actually roosting a little over fourty miles outsids of town."Fiona nodded and replied "Yes, it rained. Sandy and I hid under part of the stone when it started to rain. Then Cassie was calling and trying to find us."

It has been a while since this dark-haired herald had taken a walk in the familiar town that he had visited once before. Spring was around the corner and he could smell the fresh scent of flower buds coming from the soft mucky soil. He had always loved spring. It meant new life but also bugs.
He strolled along, not really expecting to run into anyone he knew today. Lily had to chase him out of the house as she left to school. No one was to find out about him secretly living there. Not now, not ever...

Rand was strolling down the street, long legs working at a confident stride, his bright green eyes looking every which way. He knew the general direction of the town called Latent, but he wasn't sure exactly how to get there from here...
This town was just the first stop along the way. Maybe he could find a map of some sort.
His eyes suddenly stopped there roving, as he glimpsed someone familiar looking.
"Hey!" Rand called out, raising one hand in a wave of greeting. "How's it going?"
