Once he said that, Mala gave the signal for the horse to burst forward...and he did. She held on tightly to the reigns, refusing to slow down due to her paranoia about there being numerous rumors of bandits on these roads. The headdress of her High Priestess uniform flew right off, letting her long red hair flow freely in the wind.

Van instinctively nabbed the headdress out of the air as he rode past and caught up to her, not expecting her to take off full speed so soon. "So we're headed to this dock town or whatever? Or is that just one stop on our epic pilgrimage?" Van asked again. He didn't want to make some stupid world tour if he could help it.
