Dumbo
Prejudice, violence, exploitation, absinthe, and racism to a cute and catchy soundtrack! Truly Disney at its best.

Precious. It was really good....I didn't cry (too much), but I definitely felt like I'd been dosed with a cold hard drop of Reality-Bitchez and it was bitter-sweet refreshing.

Before About a Boy, I "watched" Precious! XD I say "watched" because my aunt and mom watched it while I finished Braid... But I knew what was going on. And I watched it towards the end. Pretty ******** up. :B (And then before that, I watched Rocky Horror Picture Show, which was awesome obviously.)

Cabron the Swan Knowing.
And I did not like it one bit. lolo My friend doesn't like Nicolas Cage, but she liked the movie enough to not complain about it afterward. I last watched Girl, Interrupted.

O: I don't follow actors. I just didn't like the ideas. I don't think you can be 'chosen' for anything by an external force. I think you have to choose yourself. I don't like combining the themes of apocalyptica and helplessness.

I don't like combining the themes of apocalyptica and helplessness. I liked it mostly because of what was put in front of my eyes. I hate decrypting a movie while I'm watching it. It spoils the magic. :'3 I don't think his character was at all helpless. He ensured the life of his child. If he was at all helpless, the movie would have just been him puttering around, moaning about everyone dying. Even if an external force chooses you, I think you have an option to agree or disagree. If not, it's not really being chosen other than being forced.

If not, it's not really being chosen other than being forced. The helplessness I meant came from the 'being chosen'. I believe you have control over absolutely everything in your universe and that you make your own fate. I hate lose-lose situations; I wouldn't have wanted to be the guy OR the kid in that scenario. I think he should have been able to go. I think everybody should be able to go.
I don't think anyone should be able to decide for you whether or not you deserve something. Accept or decline, it doesn't change the fact that they don't have the right to judge you.

I liked Knowing up until the Sci-fi Rapture excuse of an ending.
I like puzzle-ish movies, such as National Treasure and the like, so the rest of the movie I enjoyed.
Just... that ending. Blech.
