Luna had fallen asleep and then woken up in the middle of the day. She clamped her hands over her eyes and hissed in pain. Great, now she was in the middle of nowhere, easily could be picked off by some hunter and she couldn't use her eyes.
Good thing her Sire had trained her not to. There was a lot more to Lunista La Croix than met the eye. She knew much more about fighting than she let on. She knew quiet a few influential vampires through her work and her Sire Theron Devonshire was up there with Lavina and Ambrosios as far as fame and status went, luckily Theron wasn't into the whole mass killing of cities thing...
She sighed and kept her eyes closed. She was out in the middle of the woods in her pajamas... she sighed. She felt bad too, she didn't know what to do... She had said some pretty mean things to Casper last night and now she felt like a jerk... Had she been this much trouble?
...
Idea!!
Luna jumped up and though she kept her eyes closed she knew exactly where she was going. Why hadn't she thought of it before?! Duh!! Who else to ask than someone who had already done it?! She kept running and nearly fell in a large hole but she caught herself at the last second, using the smells that had been embedded in her mind since she was created.
She couldn't help but smile when she smelled the familiar scent of Theron. "So, you actually paid attention when I taught you." a warm voice teased from her right. "Theron! Come on, you know I don't like not being able to see." she called.
She walked forwards, listening for him and smelling where he went as he led her back to the house.

Casper made a face as he began to wake up. He hadn't even realized he had fallen asleep. His eyes fluttered open and instantly it was way too bright. He hissed and shut his eyes tightly.
"Too bright for you?"
Oh s**t. Apparently Casper wasn't alone. It was a distinctly female voice...so that was a plus, but if she was a hunter...wait, actually, what did it matter who she was?
Casper squinted, his eyes still burning a little as he tried to make her shape.
"Here." He felt something be slid on his face and suddenly, he could see just fine.
Sunglasses? He thought wondrously. Perhaps this was another vampire? Casper looked the woman over and instantly he was hit with the scent of blood. No, she was most certainly human. Did she realize that he was a vampire?
"You look thirsty. You better put those fangs away before you attract the wrong attention and those hunters come looking for you." Well she definitely knew! Casper moved and sat himself up against the wall.
"I knew I spotted a newborn." How the ******** would she know if he was a newborn or not? He had been sleeping!
Casper wracked his brain. He had come up with only one logical explanation, this woman, was an excomunincant. Most people had no idea what that was. Hell vampires didn't know until it was too late. Casper had history though, he knew exactly what was going on.
Excomunicants were hunters who broke away from the community...namely because they thought it was fun sleep with vampires. Well those were the old world excomuicants, the new world ones had this black market system of buying and selling the undead...it wasn't pretty. Excomuincants had all the knowledge of the hunter and were conniving. What was really dangerous, and Casper knew it well...was that excomunicants drugged their vampires into submission. It was amazing how addictive certain failed hunter toxins could be.
"Come on, I'll get you some blood and after we can fit you with some clothing."
Thinking about it he was a prime target! A newborn, lost, confused, miserable! Wow he was in a predicament.
"No thanks." He said cooly as he stood up from his place on the ground.

Luna sighed and opened her eyes once she heard the door close behind her. Theron pulled her into a hug and she smiled. "How have you been?" she asked cheerfully, "Quiet well my dear, what brings you here?" Straight to the point, obviously if she was coming to his house in the middle of the day it was for a reason. "I took in a newborn." she said with a sigh and looked up to see Theron with a raised eyebrow. "I knew you were always too nice for your own good Lu." he said, using the nickname that she wouldn't let anyone else use. "So what did he do?" yeah, Luna smelled like boy. "It's a long story... Do you still have my contacts here??" she asked hopefully. Theron nodded and stood up going to a large bookcase in which a little box of Luna's small possessions she had left here sat. "I guess you will explain on the way then hmm?" He asked and pulled his own set of contacts that Luna had given him out of the case in he pocket as he handed her his.
"Yeah... I yelled at him and... I want to find him and make sure he is ok." Theron stopped and looked at her. "You don't yell at people Lu." he said seriously, grabbing her a jacket and putting it on her all gentleman like, it was like.. bred into him to be a gentleman. "He keeps trying to kill himself though!" she said frustrated and zipped the jacket up. "If i recall correctly you tried to kill yourself no less than 7 times my dear." Luna sighed and looked at him. "But he used to be a hunter so he knows how to do it..." the worry was evident in her voice and she pulled on her Sire's arm, pulling him towards the door. She had to pick up Casper's scent and the best way to do that was to do back to Salem's. "Come on!!" she called hurriedly and took off into the woods, flying past trees and stuff. Then she turned abruptly. She had caught Casper's scent.
Theron sighed and finished zipping up his jacket and ran after Luna, he would just follow her scent to wherever it was she was going.

The woman, who was dressed to the T, crossed her arms and pouted. It wasn't everyday you found a vampire that practically had Abercrombie printed on his forehead.
"Well you can't just stay here. The hunters have been patrolling everywhere because of that St. Clair kid."
What?
"What? What do you mean?" The woman smiled at his interest.
"Come on, we'll talk over lunch." No Casper din't want blood with drugs in it! Though the idea of blood in general was very tempting.
"I already ate."
"Nonsense, your fangs are practically begging for blood. If you're worried about cost or repayment it's no trouble at all...and we really should get out of the open." She looked around worriedly.
"What did you say about St. Clair?" It was kind of weird talking about himself in third person.
"You've...you know who that is?" She asked suspiciously.
"Of course." He tried to sound casual. It wasn't like he knew what a vampire would do while having a conversation about him.
The woman looked ready to gossip!
"Between you and me, I think Lavinia has him. The hunters haven't found remains and I can only assume that's because Lavinia had him somewhere." Casper raised his eyebrows. So people...didn't think he was dead?
"I bet she's got him tied up in her basement, probably uses him each night as payment for her fallen lover...if you know what I mean."
Oh, bad mental image. And Casper really didn't think Lavinia would rape him...that just didn't sound like her...no doubt the idea was a product of the excomunicant's perverted mind.
"Lavina's not the type to abandon anything. She's a vicious one that one...she'd want to keep St. Clair suffering and she'd want to see him suffer too."
Now that sounded like Lavinia.
That was worrisome. Two slices of information he had gathered from this crazy woman. 1, hunters were looking for him, 2, Lavinia may come after him.
He looked down at the ground for a second in though. And suddenly he felt a little p***k on his forearm.
"What the h-" He looked up, the woman looked very smug. Casper looked down at his arm.
Oh s**t!
She had gotten a needle into him? He didn't even see the thing it was so small! Ingenious! No doubt the work of a hunter! Or...ex hunter!
Well if he died whatever...wait...why would an excomunicant...kill him?
She had drugged him! Holy s**t was thing really addictive!? He'd welcome death but not an eternity in the sex ring!
He pulled the thing out of him before he could get the whole dosage..but still, he was worried. Some of the drugs took a few tastes to get addicted...bit Casper didn't know if this woman was a heavy duty player and had developed a serum highly addictive in the firsts shot!
He was starting to feel....funny.
"You feel good honey?"
Casper looked at the sky, a dazed look on his face.
"Yeah, yeah I do."

Theron had caught up to Luna and she had filled him in on the way of everything she knew and what exactly was going on. Theron was a bit dumbfounded. Leave it to Luna to take in the most dangerous stray on the street. "You realize that your an idiot right?" he asked her as they ran/walked at a human pace through the city, tracking Casper. "Yeah..." she sighed quietly and looked at him with a shrug. Then she stopped abruptly and looked around. Casper!! In an ally! ... With a girl. Saying he felt good. Luna growled at the girl for a moment before Theron put his hand on her shoulder. "No, you take care of your friend. I'll take care of the girl." he said with a nod and went after the woman who had drugged Casper.
Luna ran over to him and looked at him... something was very wrong. Why the far off glazed look in his eyes? Luna looked at Casper with a frown. This was all her fault, if she would have just kept her temper and taken him home none of this would have happened!! She put her hand on Casper's shoulder and looked back to see that Theron had already killed the woman and the body lay on the ground in a mangled mess. "I do believe your friend has been drugged. We should probably get him back to your house." he looked at Casper, "Can you walk?"

O.M.G people. Casper's eyes were wide as he looked down at Luna and then over at the other man.
Could walk? Sure, but why would he want to!?
"There are," He looked at the sky and suddenly his arms were up in the air arching downwards, jazz hands and everything. "rainbows everywhere!" Uh oh. "You. look. like. A unicorn!" Holy s**t what was happening? Casper twirled around himself then stopped abruptly to look at the two vampires with an emotionless face. "Hi, I'm my name's Johnny APPLESEED!" Casper wet his lips with his tongue for about ten seconds. "What's yours?...Wait I know you." He said looking down at Luna. "You're that Barbie person that lives in Toys R US...do you really have a pink dream house?"

In all honesty, Luna preferred sulky suicidal Casper to doped up on drugs Casper. "Theron... how do we fix him?" she asked worried and looked up at her Sire. Theron was studying Casper with a very peculiar look on his face before snapping his attention back to Luna and bending over to pick up the discarded needle. "This is how we fix him, you still have that lab in your basement right dear?" Theron asked and Luna nodded. "Good." he looked at the male vampire then shrugged and walked towards the end of the ally. "Hey, we are going to play the quiet game." Luna said encouragingly and leading him out of the ally and across the street. She really wanted to just get him home where he was safe and they could figure out whatever that ******** person had done to him.

Luna looked at Casper as his fangs popped out and she sighed. How noticeable would it be if she just busted out in a full sprint with Casper in tow? She wasn't sure but she wanted him home NOW. This must have been her punishment for being so mean and trying to desert him... She pulled on his arm, wrapping her arm around his waist to steer him where he needed to go. Which thank god wasn't that far from where her house was.
Theron was up ahead and she could see his shoulder's shaking as he laughed. "It's not funny! Don't encourage him." she scolded. Boy you could tell she had been turned when her maternal instincts were in top working condition. She pulled him up to the building and through the halls to her house. All the windows were closed and Casper should be safe here.
She sighed.

He was inside the dream house! HOLY s**t! He couldn't believe it, Barbie, the Barbie, had taken him inside the dream house. No ******** way.
Casper suddenly felt like, really warm. Like he was having a heat flash. "Oh man, oh long Johnson,it's like a tropical garden in here." Translation: It's hot.
Casper threw off his Jacket and even stepped out of his pants. Luckily he had boxers on.
And then it happened.
"I feel, I feel pretty! Oh so pretty! I feel pretty and witty and GAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYY!" He spun around and started skipping around the room. "And I pitty any girl who isn't me, todaaaay....duna dun duna dun duna dun dun dun!"
Casper threw his leg up in a high kick and came down into a full on spit on the ground.
"Who's that pretty girl in the mirror there!? Who could that attractive girl---p***s!"
He threw off the sunglasses and upon further inspection it was very clear Casper's pupils were dilated. It didn't help that his eye twitched. "How can I be pretty if I have a p***s?" He asked seriously.
"WE NEED TO CUT IT OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" He bounced up.
"PIG!"
And he jumped onto the couch and started nuzzling the pillow...
Then Casper just stopped and started breathing heavily.
"It's hot, hot hot hot."
Wow now it was too hot. "Hot, it's hooot." He complained sounding very upset.

That's what gave it away. Vampire didn't have temperatures, they didn't feel hot or cold. And Casper feeling the temperature was the indication of what the woman had shot him up with. "Theron!" she called and he poked his head into the living room. "I need that syringe and for you to keep an eye on him. No killing, and just... keep him in this room." she said and grabbed the out held syringe, careful not to jab herself with it.
Just recently she had been working with a toxin that made the vampire feel as if they were burning to death. Which usually distracted them from the fact that the hunter was about to cut their head off. It wasn't so much a poison as a distraction. And she actually had something that could fix it!! She would just have to tweak it a bit because the original toxin definitely didn't make them see rainbows and s**t. Out came the microscope and the cure, she took a little of the stuff from the syringe and smeared it on a slide.
Yeah, that was the right structure alright... along with something that she was pretty sure was used to cause the high effect. And a bunch of iron... She sighed and applied a little of the already present cure, which got rid of the structures that formed the hot feeling. It also began to dissolve the get high structures... so... this would work if she just put some billirubin and white blood cells in!! She mixed up the concoction and applied it again, it diffused every cell there including the excess of iron, which by now she had identified as the addictive property. She watched it for 5 minutes to make sure there was no extra reactions (there weren't) before putting it in a syringe and bringing it upstairs. "Casper!!" she called excitedly, acting as if her about to stick him with the needle was a game.

What probably wasn't good, was that Casper either didn't recognize his name, or just wasn't responding to it. "Rainbows." He whispered looking up at the ceiling. "Look at the rainbows." He readapted clearly off in his own little world. He pointed up at the ceiling. "But there's a rain cloud...he'd sad. Why's it so hot?" He whined huffing.
"But the rainbows." He looked up.
"Hey Barbie...I didn't know you had rainbows in your house."
Lord knows what would have happened to him if Luna and Theron hadn't shown up when they did.

"That's right," she said in her best Malibu Barbie voice. "If you look at them long enough they'll give you a present." she pointed up to the ceiling as if to show him were the rainbow was and stuck him in his neck, right in the artery, and pushed the pump down quickly.

"I like presents." He said opening his eyes wide as he lolled his head and looked at the ceiling more intensely.
"Ouch! The Rainbow bit me!"
Casper made a face and continued to stare at the "rainbows". He looked like he was on drugs for about thirty seconds more and then, "Where did all the rainbows go?" That was a good sign! Sure it he wasn't completely sober yet, but they had like what, forty seconds to go?
Things were starting to clear in Casper's head. That had been like a ******** trip...like a full on trip.
"I feel like somebody just raped my brain." He rubbed his eyes and made a low groaning sound in his throat.
One one hand he felt like he had been thrown into a wall, but on the other hand he felt very relaxed.

Luna sighed and pulled the needle out of his neck before slumping down in the chair diagonal from the couch. She looked at Casper with a raised eyebrow before smiling and snickering "The rainbow did it." she giggled and then burst out laughing. She couldn't help it, it was funny. Plus she was just glad he was safe now. "Either that or it was the unicorn." Theron said from his spot leaning against the wall.
