"Pen!" Alex had to shout to be heard over the sound of the giant rock snake, who quickly fell in line beside Penelope's mount and stayed there, making a noise like gravel being shaken in a bucket.
The brunette gave his sister a helpless look, followed by a rather sheepish grin, and leaned back to check that the pack strapped to the Pokemon's horn was secure. "I have no idea what this thing's doing."

The Ponyta whuffled Rhia's hand, then licked it as Anima got on its back. "A little of both, actually. I'd love to catch one, to help me out, but just getting to see them up close would be wonderful too!" She stretched her arms. "I'm learning to be a Pokemon healer from my friend Kurai."

 Sleipnir stomped on the ground, insulted by the Tauros. He then trotted away until nightfall, a flaming beacon.
Bandit squeaked and held on, hoping this proud horse wouldn't get into too much trouble with the bull pokemon.

As Raina neared the groups she noticed a few familiar faces, trainers she had battled and people she had seen on other excursions like this one. She noticed most people were involved in conversations already and she didn't want to interrupt so she brought Branimir to a stop in the middle of the crowd and looked around. "There sure are a lot of people here this time... Eevee's must be attractive to a lot of trainers." she murmured to her pokemon as she cast her gaze over the large group of people, some who were riding Arcanine's like herself and others who were using rental pokemon which were easily identified by the cloth tied to them.
Raina noticed a lot of ponyta and wondered if perhaps Imbra would be able to make some friends on this trip.

Brianna had to wonder what kind of name Pen was. It was supposed to be a writing implement! Oh well.

Leader-Sama-07 Flint nods at the advice given by lucine " thanks, i appreciate the help" he says and looks around " yhea there are.. its a bit intimidating to be honest" he looks at lumine " yhea, i like a challenge, so Tauros is perfect for me. and yhea, those news reports on the swarm are everywhere"  "Yeah, I'm not surprised with how many people are here. I bet the competition is going to be really tough." She sighed, then smiled again, "But I think I can handle it. I'm sure everyone here will be trying their best."
She fell into silence as night fell and the 'train' started to slow down for the night.

Being up high was always a favorite of hers, she loved it so. "I think you were in my wagon if I remember correctly! Frey was chewing on some rope right? Or am I wrong! Haha! Memory's a little fuzzy!"

"Same! Eevee are so cute!" She squealed and flashed a grin to Brianna before she looked over at her brother on the other Onix.
"I dunno... maybe they like each other?" Penelope laughed, but was cut off when Bongo nudged the other Onix playfully, almost knocking her off.
"Woah!"

Leikkun Ridley shot a startled glance at Liam, quickly masking his expression and shrugging, enjoying the ride, not urging Soulcrusher any faster, trying to seem casual.
"I'm not glum. I just have some things on my mind," he grinned over at him. "I'm actually really looking forward to this trip."
As they rode on, and the mountains came into view, Ridley looked out over the land, watching the coming twilight. The good part of the day had indeed been full of rain, and their late start made Ridley worry slightly about staying on schedule.
"Time flies."
"Relax. Enjoy yourself. It's not like anything bad's going to happen out here, right?"

"Probably because they're bada**," Nina grinned, raking a hand through her hair. Then she reconsidered what she'd just said. "Okay, well, not exactly, but they can be badass, and that's what counts, right?" Nina shrugged, running a finger along her Ponyta's back. Man, it was dark - she hadn't realized they'd been out for so long.

Mina jumped in her saddle, startled by the sudden greeting that seemed to be directed at her. She pulled on the reins lightly to slow her mount, looking at the female that now rode beside her.
"Hey!" she replied, still surprised but nontheless happy someone had taken notice to her. "I'm Mina. Mina Killian."
She offered a hand but before she could do much else, Anala pricked up her ears, catching sight of her group, and rushed forward to join the mass of Pokemon with purple cloths.
The landscape grew more barren and mountains could be seen in the distance, but these Mina failed to notice at the time, as she was busy looking around to see where Saspra was.

Miriam had been traveling on Allene with Fubuki now for a good few hours. The group of them had been making good time, but with the sun setting the ranger knew that they would probably have to stop soon. Despite the barren landscape, Miri still thought everything looked gorgeous. She loved to see the variety of terrain all throughout Zatao, regardless of how picturesque or devoid of life it was. This area was no different.
With the mountains in sight, the Ranger grinned. "We'll have to stop sometime soon. Traveling in the dark wouldn't be the best of ideas, even though we could probably do it if we wanted." The ranger gave the Rampardos a pat on the back of her head as the group of them began to slow down. Continuing at a fast pace wouldn't do them anymore good, and the dinosaur pokemon was probably getting tired. All of them could use a good rest soon, so it was probably best to take things easy from now on for the time being.

Brianna just stared at the the Onix and its rider, then shook her head with a sigh. And she had thought her Pokemon sucked, now she was a bit glad for her hefty Tauros.
