Slasher prowled through the fields. The sun was at its peak. He padded into the forest. The trees blocked the sunlight well. His dark coat would easily be seen. His red eyes narrowed at a bird, a large one at that. The size of a hawk, it was a dark brown bird with white spots down its back. He crept up upon it, slowly and steadily. Then he pounced. The bird put up a fight, and blood splattered. Yet the bird was no match for Slasher's long claws and fangs, quickly he ended the birds life, before it could do more damage. He sat on his haunches as he began to eat his meal.
