"Eh...alright..." she said and dropped the rocks. 'Did he just call me nee-san?' she wondered. Kiyoko wasn't really hungry but it looked like the boy was in a hurry to eat something, so she simply went to the restaurant with him.

A pair of eyes had been watching over Kaze for a while now, maybe since he got to the island. The boy seemed a little different. Stronger, maybe more accustomed to the demon within him. The only true thing that gave Aeden away was the moonlight shining off his scythe's blade; the hair wasn't really lit up well.

Crouched, he poked the back of Jade's head. "You doin' somethin'?" Obviously not; she never did. But she couldn't default him for not asking now.

Jade had been sitting peacefully, enjoying the confines of her mind, when all of the sudden she had been 'assaulted' from behind. She stood up and twisted at the same time, putting her very close to Aiden. A smile spread to her face at his words, and she remained exactly where she was. "No, not really. Contrary to popular belief, I do things, just stuff that I find enjoyable. I was training a bit, working on copying techniques, just in case." Alright, something was happening, she had been working (Gasp!), and was preparing for who knows what. "What have you been up to? Stalking people I presume?" Jade crossed her arms under her chest (since it'd be impossible to do so over her chest), and raised an eyebrow.

Sunagakure | Ichibi Host | Genin

David's eyes slowly cracked open as he woke from his meditation. That really had been more trouble than it was worth. The Ichibi didn't like it very much when it's host tried to think of solutions other than killing people. He would have to work on that too it seemed. A glance below told him that the people he had seen earlier had mostly left, or at the least relocated. Anyways, he supposed it was time to start his own training again. Standing up he moved back from the edge and found himself a nice open space, where the ground was more dirt than rock. It would be easier that way. After having found such a place, he began to focus on what he had read in the scroll. He had gone over it well enough to remember without looking again, so there was no real problems there.

Slowly pooling his chakra into the ground, he let it flow through the dirt, and feel out any cracks or abnormalities. Weak points so to say. Once the points had been found, his chakra pooled into them, preparing for the next stage. The stage where he would actually be able to use the chakra.

And that was with the next jutsu on his list. The first wasn't really a jutsu, just a preparation. This was the real thing. Running through a quick couple of seals, the boy flooded even more chakra into the ground, and this time the results were instant. Expanding outwards from his feet, the ground seemed to spin and crack, grinding against itself until, mere moments later it crumbled and became sand. The sand patch expanded rapidly for a few feet, until David was standing in the center of a sand circle. Grabbing up a stone that was conveniently trapped under his right foot, the boy dropped it into the sand, smiling when it immediately sank. He had no idea how deep this was just now, but it was definitely the jutsu described. As he released the chakra holding the jutsu in place, the sand visibly settled, sinking by about an inch. It had been puffed up loosely to create the sinking effect apparently. Unlike it would work in the desert though, the sand didn't return to it's natural form. It just became normal sand.

People would probably question how a patch of sand came to exist here. And that was enough to make David laugh as he sat down again. He had completed his sand training for now, but he still needed other things. A weapon style for his staff, wind jutsu to shut the Ichibi up, and probably some non elemental jutsu would be a good investment too. Not much he could do about that here though...

Picking up the bags that were at each side of him, Luo burst into a spray of mist, and rather violently too. He was a bit annoyed at waiting around for over an hour for Lance to arrive, and figured the young boy forgot and simply headed back to the treehouse dwellings of teh mist shinobi. It was just as well, Luo would just have to make his training that much more difficult.

(Geez, I missed a lot in a week. I'm not even gonna try to respond to it all)

During everything, Yamatano had stayed back, preferring not to get involved. It was a great way to advance his hunter nin training of stealth, and listening to lots of great information. But just as he was about to exit the shadows to speak with lord Mizukage, he vanished. Sighing, Yamatano decided to head to the treehouses, hoping to meet him there.

Konaga Shinji
| Konaga Clan | Speed/Offensive Type | Iwagakure | Genin |

[Training conditions: Learning from a scroll, +1 post ... Offensive Ninja +1 post]

Reading over the scroll again, Shinji realized that he was probably holding back too much. In attempting to control his raw power rather then embracing it and utilizing it for the technique, he was negating it's effect. "Makes sense I suppose... I'm creating a mini earthquake here. why would I hold back anything?" with a new determination, shinji placed the scroll down on the ground next to him once more as he stared forward, his eyes fiercely focused on the open field past the falls to his side as he began gathering his chakra.
[Training: Rikujou Douyou no jutsu (4/7)]

Not holding anything back this time, Shinji felt the waves of energy flow over him as he concentrated on gathering the needed chakra for the technique. A wave of sudden pain flushed over him through the process of it all, but Shinji pushed it aside, determined to complete this training, focusing through the pain still raged in his body. Forming the hand seals once more, Shinji could feel the difference as the massive waves of chakra built up inside him, colliding together as the jutsu began to mold. Focusing hard on the last seal, Shinji held it fervently, his arms somewhat shaking already as he declared the jutsu with fervor.
[Training: Rikujou Douyou no jutsu (5/7)]

"Doton: Rikujou Douyou no jutsu!", slamming his hands to the ground immediately after the words flowed from his mouth, Shinji could feel the massive waves of energy built up inside him flow into the earth. Immediately, the entire area began to shake, except for the immediate foot and a half area which he was standing on. Shinji could feel the jutsu's effect through his hand, and noted that a large area was shaking rather violently around him, as pebbles and rocks bounced around, sending swarms of insects into the air as they fled the shifting earth.
[Training: Rikujou Douyou no jutsu (6/7)]

The effect of the jutsu itself was far beyond what the scroll had named it would be... a jutsu used for distraction possibly to mess up their balance. With his usual ability for heightening the effect of such offensive jutsu, Shinji could feel that the vibrations and shaking of the earth would easily be enough to knock a foe down even if they were being careful. This had a world of combinations with many other things, which made Shinji smile somewhat devilishly, finally ceasing the jutsu as the ground stopped quaking around him. standing up, he felt a sudden wave of enjoyment pass over his body at the accomplishment of succeeding at using the jutsu, but it was quickly countered with a wave of pain which rode across his chest.
[Training: Rikujou Douyou no jutsu (7/7)]

Bringing his hand up to his chest as if he were experiencing heartburn, Shinji winced in pain, but refused to close his eyes as he knew Akira-sensei would correct him if he was around. the pain would be worth it though, as Shinji now considered himself fully ready and prepared for whatever the next part of the exams might bring for him.

Well... there was a shocker. "You really have grown..." At least on the outside. Mentally? It was debatable. "Stalking is... probably the right word; it's what I do, remember? You don't need to be able to manipulate chakra to tell that there's a lot of hosts are in one place. The air is thick with chaos." His eyes flashed golden. Around them, even this far out, the air seemed to be multi-hued. It wreaked of demon chakra. A bad sign, or good depending on your goals.

Training by copying? She did have the Sharingan, but that way seemed like cheating to him. I presume your partner helped?" He didn't stand, but rather sat Indian-style. Extending his right hand, a bsphere of water formed. With the other, a sphere of wind. He pressed the two together, which slowly led the two spheres to meld into each other, slowly forming an ice swan. Unconciously, his right index finger began to slowly flow in a circular motion. The swan followed suit, orbiting around him.

With a sigh, David's eyes slid closed once more, falling back into his meditation on the spot. There really was nothing he could really do about his training here. Other than those sand techniques, and more of those would probably require someone to help, or a bit more experience to understand fully. How annoying. No, if he wanted to learn something other than sand, he was going to have to wait until the end of these exams. Or somehow convince a foreign ninja to teach him. He didn't feel he could learn much from the other suna genin, and he highly doubted the kazekage would be willing to teach him. Refusing to bend to someone's whims had that side affect. She probably wouldn't care if he died here in fact... Such an annoying thought.

Jade smiled at his grown comment, whether it had been about her body or not. It was true, it seemed as if every jinchuuriki around was gathered here on Nagi Island. This was great news for Akatsuki, bad news for everyone else. She nodded her head at his question, watching the little dove move around and around. She took a moment to readjust herself, and moved closer to him, placing her head in his lap. "Aye, he was helping me, I've learned a bit more." She closed her eyes behind the mask, resting in her moment of peace. "It'd be wise for me to learn some more, but I could do with a glass of sake every now and then..." Ah, there was the real Jade, asking for a drink.

Aeden smirked. "Was waiting for that." One of the perks of being a major drinker was that you always had a supply on you. He didn't seem to be affected at all by her repositioning, and reached into his coat, then pulled his clay gourd. He placed it in her hand, then rested his on her head.

Something clicked at that moment. All his life, well, from when Jade was the Kage she use to be, to when he arrived at the Island the exam was taking place at, he'd always thought of her as a sister type figure. His brain actually lied to him. With her absence, he slowly lost interest with... well... everything. Everyone was generic, every day was the same, nothing held his attention for more than a minute, even at the bi-weekly village meetings, and then even when the three, who's names he'd already forgotten, attempted to infiltrate Rock. He slowly grew bored of everything, which may have been his main reason for leaving in the first place. The entire time he was on the road, the last conversation they had replayed in his head. Over, and over, and over. He was never truly at peace, even when he was within Konoha.

Now he was in complete harmony. He finally realized his life's purpose. Through Hell and Highwater, he'd be beside her, even if the people she was with was trying to either take over or destroy everything. His head lowered so his chin rested on her forehead. He'd never let her go again, even if she wanted him to stay safe by 'staying out of the picture'. He'd flat out refuse.

{Gah you write so epicly xD!!}

{Did you get my pm about MSN?}

Jade smiled, she knew Aeden would have a stash somewhere on him. Her hands already knew what to do, and uncorked the gourd. She tipped it into her mouth, surprisingly not choking herself. It was funny, throughout her whole life, she never had time. Now, it seemed as if she had all the time in the world.

She had never had time to think about a relationship, thus it had never crossed her mind that Aeden would affect her so. He had always been there to make sure she didn't do anything stupid. Ok, that was a lie. He had always been there to help her get away from a stupid situation. Now, he was her escape. She truly felt for him, which, despite her age, was a surprise. Jade smiled, tipping a bit more sake into her mouth.

She had always tried her best to keep Aeden away from the bad choices she had made, though he always insisted on sticking with her. He had defended her, bled with her, and so much more. Jade sighed, closing her eyes, keeping the smile on her face.

David's eyes snapped open as he was jarred from his meditation by a presence appearing out of nowhere, directly behind him. As after a moment nothing happened, he came to the conclusion that yes, this must be yet another ANBU sneaking up on him, and refusing to speak. As per usual. Holding a hand out over his shoulder, he took the scroll without even turning around. And then scowled as a cloud of smoke blew over him. How very annoying. Yet at the same time, the scroll was good news. Because if what the first proctor said was true, it meant he had passed.

Rolling the scroll out in his lap, he quickly read through it, finding the information rather odd. A long journey? Team numbers? Why give team numbers, to someone who came with no team? It must mean they were grouping the genin together. How, he had no idea, but he doubted it was going to be with other sand shinobi. Even more curious, was the map that came with the scroll. Why would they need that on the island? Interesting indeed.

No matter! Rolling up the scroll and map, he stuffed them into his bag and stood up. If there was a long journey ahead, he would need some more supplies. Of course, he should probably figure out who was on his team too, so they could compare equipment. No use in everyone carrying a bunch of stuff, if they could split it and all... No, if he was grouped with strangers, it was best to keep to his own. Teammates or not, they would still be enemies later. Then he would be getting his own supplies. With that settled in his mind, the boy walked to the edge of the cliff and jumped off, slowing his fall at the bottom just as he had done in the market, and walked off. He had some shopping to do.

[Training conditions: Learning from a scroll, +1 post ... Offensive Ninja +1 post]

As his training was finished, Shinji had taken some time to sit and watch the falls. Water was always calming for him. Maybe it was the constant movement, of the noise it created which helped him to even if only in the slightest forget his pain... but for whatever the reason, he easily lost himself in it's stream. After a while, he started to realize that it was getting late in the afternoon as the light began to slowly fade over the horizon. Taking nature's cue, Shinji stood up, collecting his weapons and items as he turned to leave the field, only to step back suddenly in shock, instinctively placing his hand on the hilt of his blade near his head.

An ANBU had somehow, though not surprisingly, arrived without warning and was simply staring at him without saying a word. without knowing what to do, Shinji remained defensive until the ANBU suddenly held out his arm, offering him a scroll, prompting him to take it. Relaxing with some trepidation, Shinji release his grip on his weapon and reached out for the scroll, taking it in hand as the ANBU immediately disappeared in a puff of smoke, leaving Shinji with nothing but the wish of being able to perform such a technique one day. Opening the scroll, he read the contents and allowed a smile to crawl across his lips. He had made it to the second part of the exams and was instructed on where to go.

Rolling the scroll up, he took off for the campsite immediately. Having brought nothing but what he carried on his back in the first place, he had no need to go back to the caves. Though, he did regret not being able to see Riko. As it was however, he had duties to attend to, so he quickly sped away, his adrenaline already pumping hard as he made his way to the forest... the surge of chemicals already starting to ease the pain which he had used the waterfall to partially escape from.

Aeden tapped Jade's head after lifting his. "Time to move." He saw the events that partained to David, and figured it had to do with the Chunnin exams. About time. His butt was going numb, though he wouldn't say anything.
