Scott smirked "Just kindly remind him that I don't trust the orchid to just anybody, and if he further injurs her, I'll cut off his legs and run him up my flag pole" said scott, still fuming about the holes in his ship.

El Diablo Loco let out a sigh, "Don't worry, I've got this, you just relax. I've got him." Diablo shivered a bit as he went to walk down to Alberto.
Once Diablo saw Alberto, the two of them smiled at each other and shook hands,
"'Berto."
"Loco."
The two of them walked onward slowly down the dock, while they walked, Alberto said something in a different language to his workers, which would be translated to, "Prepare to work!" Diablo smiled and placed his hands into his pockets as he walked with Alberto.
"I see you were in a squall," said Alberto to Diablo, commenting on the damage of the ship, in the same language that he spoke in to his workers "If you tell me what she needs, I will do more than provide for her." El Diablo Loco kept his smile, he nodded, and then he said, in the same language "I know. . but at the price that I can actually pay. . I say this because it's not my ship, and the guy that I know is very protective of it. . . Youuuu might say it's his other wife." Alberto laughed, and then he replied, "He must really dislike his other wife, then! Even I wouldn't allow my ship to take a beating like that!" Diablo responded after that with, "This was. . an unsuspecting attack, you see we were all resting when it happened." Alberto nodded, and he said "Ahhh. . . I see, I see. . Alright. . ."
Once the two of them were at a certain spot on the dock, Alberto looked up at the ship for a moment, and then he looked back at Diablo. Now speaking in 'English', Alberto said "Fifty thousand for repairs, and an extra one hundred for the workers' families." Diablo shook his head, "We don't have that kind of gold, 'Berto."
"Liar. A ship like that; a crew like that. All of you have probably stolen more gold than I make in five years. . . All I say is, you give my workers something to give to their wives."
". . . Thirty-five thousand, plus two hundred. . And that is from my own pocket. . Take it, or I'll go to your competitors, and I hear they're more desperate than you are up here-"
"- Fine. Deal. I just don't want to lose anymore business up here."
El Diablo Loco looked at Alberto, as the two talked, he could see their breath in the air. Thinking about the cold made Diablo a bit colder. After a moment, Alberto stopped the current conversation to ask, "And anyway, if you knew it would be cold here why didn't you prepare better? You know this time of year it only gets to five degrees." Diablo laughed, he then reverted to the same language as earlier, "It was for a woman. Forgive me now?" Alberto laughed, then Diablo laughed as well. Now reverting back to 'English', Diablo then said, "Anyway. . Thank you. I'll go tell my captain the news, and tell your workers to get to the repairs." Alberto nodded, but before he could leave Diablo then said, "OH! And you're going to be working with the Chief Engineer on this!. . . but um. . ." Diablo paused for a moment and looked down, he let out a sigh, then looked to up at Alberto. He said, ". . Hands off. . Alright?" Alberto smirked, then held out his hand to shake Diablo's. El Diablo Loco nodded, he knew Alberto would keep his word. Finally, the two went their seperate ways; Diablo to the ship, and Alberto to get his tools.

Jak bit her lip as she watched Diablo and his friend talk. He wasn't wearing a coat and looked like he was freezing. She went down to the engine room and retrieved a thick dark green blanket. Once back on deck she waited until he came back and held it out to him. "You look like your freezing your tail off and something tells me you aren't gunna take this coat back so here take this," she said. After a moment's hesitation she said, "So...he's gunna repair it?"

El Diablo Loco had just come back onto the ship, by now Alberto's men were already getting started on the repairs. On his way to see Scott, he was met by Jak, who was holding out a blanket to him. Diablo was a bit surprised by this gesture, but none the less he accepted her offer. He said 'Thank you' to her, and then after she asked him the question, he nodded, "Yes, he will repair the ship, and I told him you'd help him out with it. Since you're the only one on this ship, next to Scott, that knows the odds and ends. So, I hope you don't mind. ."
Now wrapped up in the blanket that Jak gave him, Diablo took a deep breath and then looked down at her. She looked completely warm, and he was glad. A slight breeze blew, and it made him shiver a little bit, but he tried to hide it so that Jak wouldn't worry. Diablo smiled, then he said, "Here, I think we should go where it's warm before I go talk to Scott."

Scott watched the crew get right to work on his ship as his wife stood beside him and scoffed.
"I think you should have let the little one repair it" she said.
As the crew approached the grand Ice wall surrounding the city, the gigantic metal door opened and a warm breeze blew in from the inner city. Even though glacia was built into an enormous Ice burg, everything inside the wall was naturally heated by the sun shining through the grand Ice lens hovering over the city.

Namid rubbed her eyes as she nudged open the door to the bridge. She blinked a little and looked around, only to feel the cold air blow against her. She quickly wrapped her arms around her, shivering.
Oh geeze! I should have grabbed something warmer!
She quietly walked out, shutting the door with a push of her foot.
Looking out, the light reflecting off of the ice caught her in a small trance.

Imogen felt the rays of the intensified sunlight as she stood on the deck. The scent of frozen brine as the cool breeze lessened as she stood; deep in thought. Standing at the bow as if she was a second figurehead trying to imagine the scene, Imogen drummed on the head of her cane.

It felt like a greenhouse. Only the simple matter that the temperature disagreed was it impossible for that to be true. It seemed amazing though from what she could picture. However as she stood the her expression did not change.

Leaving the bow she went to the helm. In hopes of getting an explanation of the crew's future plans.

El Diablo Loco took Jak behind the door which lead out to the deck. It was warm- probably because there was heat circulating all around the lower decks- but the corridor was almost narrow. Narrow hallways usually gave Diablo very bad ideas, but today that was the last thing on his mind.
Diablo was slightly shivering, still doing his best to hide how really cold he was from Jak. As he stood in front of her, he kept the blanket around him and did his best to further conceal jsut how cold he really was. For a moment he looked out of the window of the door; The crew was working, Alberto's men could be seen walking onto the deck, some of them helping each other carrying tools and the others setting up harnesses and power-operated platforms along side of the damaged areas of the ship.
Diablo let out a sigh, he could feel himself begin to warm up some. He looked over at Jak and he said, "Anyway, yes. My friend is setting up here- Before you go out and help him, I want you to warm up a little bit first. . Is that alright?"

Jak watched the men move about on deck through the tiny window in the door. She clutched the too large coat around her and stood watching in silence. For once words failed her and she couldn't find anything too say. 'Odd,' she thought. 'He's being awfully nice to me today and yet here I am unable to find anything to say. There must be something wrong with me.'
She glanced at Diablo when he spook and caught what looked like him shivering. She smiled again and said, "Looks like you need more warming than I do Diablo. I'm sorry that blanket isn't warmer." Suddenly she found herself blabbing, "I'll have to invest in a coat of my own. I've never been here before or anywhere so cold so I haven't ever needed one. My last captain...well the only captain I've had besides Scott, favored the heat so we stayed mostly around Nasr, Ixa'taka and Valua. He was a very perticular sort of person, Captain Emilio. Kind of lost his marbles in his old age though." She chuckled lightly and looked back out the window again. 'What on earth was that?! she mentally scolded herself. 'He doesn't need to know all that. Oh I know, it was the lack of sleep! That has too be it! Other wise I don't know what's going on...or why I'm acting so silly.'

Juslo got instantly to work, knowing that now he can touch the walls of the ship with his workmanship. He also could feel a cold breeze just flowing by. Juslo remembered his pact to himself, to test himself. So he didn't say a thing about the cold. If he started sweating, it only meant that he still had some fire left in him and it would only keep him working harder. Juslo began helping the workers carry things to the places they needed to go, until he sneezed and then it went uphill from there. He began working harder, to get the cold out of him.

El Diablo Loco smiled at Jak, very much appreciating the conversation. He wasn't as cold as he was before, but he was still shaking a little bit. Even so, he still managed to smile at her.
At the mention of getting a new coat, though, Diablo laughed and then he said, "If you got a new coat, I wouldn't know what to do with myself." He kept the blanket around him, "But don't be sorry, just be happy. ." Diablo said. Keeping his smile, some of his hair fell into his face; Brushing it away, he looked down at his boots. He wasn't entirely sure what else to say to her, because he wasn't used to attempting to 'woo' her. Finally, a woman in his life he had issues trying to be with.
"Well, um. .," Diablo cleared his throat, "I believe I should go find Scott. . I suppose. . ." A smirk crept onto his face and then he said, "Maybe later on we could find some other way of warming up?" He playfully winked, then gently nudged her arm.

Jak's face flushed 5 shades of red. She gave Diablo her best narrow eyed look of embarressment before saying, "Behave Diablo." She sighed and then said, "I'm going to go introduce myself to the boss in charge and see what help I can be." She looked at him for a moment and then said, "Stay warm Diablo...there are more blankets down in the engine room if that isn't warm enough for you." She opened the door and left in search of the boss.

As Jak was leaving, El Diablo Loco said to her in a very flirtacious manner, "If I don't behave, what will you do? Whip me?" he made this 'cracking a whip' motion and made the noise to go with it. At the mention of going to see Alberto, Diablo smiled and nodded, then he said, "I'll see you later, then." Even after she left, he still wore a smile. He leaned against the wall and closed his eyes.

Meanwhile, Alberto, who was dressed very warmly, was out on deck going over maps of the ship. While he looked over the different sections of the ship, he reached for his cup of hot black coffee to take a drink when one of his men ran up to him, speaking in the language Alberto and Diablo spoke in earlier, the man said, "Hey, 'Berto, we're very short on rope. Can your friend find us more, please?" Alberto smiled and he replied, of course speaking in the same language, "This isn't my friend's ship. This for the harnesses or for the platforms?"
"The harnesses- This is a big ship, Hermano, and we need at least twenty guys on each side. If we don't get any more rope, we'll only have ten guys on each side to fix damages and there isn't enough daylight to work."
Alberto nodded, then he replied, "Alright, I'll see what I can do. . Just go work on the platforms for now, Amigo." The guy nodded, smiled, then trotted off to the platform with his tools. Alberto rubbed his chin hair, then looked around the deck for any loose rope he could borrow.
