 Hayate nodded slowly "I dropped out.. but now im back" he held still as his hair was ruffled, not knowing how to react to the kindness, he had never received such a thing in his household. Hayate brought the butterfly back into his chest and crumpled it inside his fist once again, he had never received nice comments on his artwork before, it was a nice feeling to be praised instead of teased for his passion.

Hayate pondered the question for a long while before answering "Uh.. I-Im not very good with tests.." he looked down to the ground, but after another minute or so he shot his head back up and nodded "But ill try.." he agreed finally, wondering exactly what was in store for him now, he didn't think becoming Genin would be an easy task after dropping out of the Academy for awhile, especially since his grades weren't the best.

|Nara clan|Chuunin|Iwagakure| Kai sighed, blowing hair out of her face. She did a set of hand seals. "This justu is called Doroku Gaeshi or Rock Shield, it is the height of 5 feet by 5 feet and 3 inches got it? It will hole up to some attacks but not alot." She said as the ground rose to make a rock shield of 10 feet by 10 feet and 6 inches thick. His would be smaller then her and weaker. She let the shield crumble back to the earth.
Doton: Doroku Gaeshi (Earth Release: Rock Shield)
Description: In the jutsu, the user lifts up a giant piece of earth and uses it as a shield. For every rank, the shield grows 5 feet by 5 feet, and thickens by 3 inches.

Yun began to form and channel his chakra down back into the earth. The earth begins to morph below him as a large amount of mud shoots up. A mud slab stands before as the sounds of solidification are heard. The mud turns into solid earth as Yun smiles at his accomplishment.

Kubiwa Kaguya
Iwagakure Academy Student  After a few minutes worth of reviewing Kubiwa thought that he was ready for another go at the jutsu. Standing up from his sitting position he head over towards the pebble and made sure it was in a stable position, and that it was still there. He'd been sitting for quite some time and he feared that it might have fallen of, or some pebble-eating animal came along and ate it. Regardless, he was now ready to make another attempt at the Hanpatsu Kaze no Jutsu. As he prepared the necessary amounts of chakra needed, he began focusing the chakra to create a more precise and concentrated gust of wind, which would hopefully move the pebble from its location and send it towards him. Sensing that the concentrations were enough, he performed the necessary hand seals and spoke out the jutsu's name "Hanpatsu Kaze no Jutsu." after which a gust of wind struck the pebble, it was able to push it towards Kubiwa, but by only a small distance, the pebble fell about a few inches away from Kubiwa. He sighed at the thought that it still wasn't enough, but he smiled a bit at the thought that he was at least making some progress. Hayate thought about this for a long moment before realizing what Kai had been talking about "E-Element.. I can use water.. and earth.." he spoke slow as usual, looking up into Kai's eyes with a dumbfounded expression, he really hated tests, but if Kai was willing to teach him then he would not shoot it down, it was rare for him to be cared for, and he liked the feeling it gave him.

It's called earth clone, so if your able to make a Bushin or normal clone then you can do a earth clone." She said, making hands signs as the earth rose next to her to make a clone. She hit the clone in the gut then pimp slapped it as it turned to rubble."This is what I brought you, this you can keep. This is what I brought you, may forget me."

Iwagakure | Academy Student | Taijutsu Specialist/Medic Yuka strolled onto the training grounds, a bored expression being worn on her face. For the past few hours she had done nothing but walk around, ignoring the ever present need to actually become a kunoichi. Sometimes it was just a good idea to take in the sights of your home village, and allow thing to sink in, along with letting your thoughts fly into the sky. Not all shinobi had to be ruthless killers, that much was proven by the dominant personality of Konoha nin.
Her cerulean gaze fell upon a group of supposed shinobi on the training grounds, each busying themselves with the task of learning jutsu. One of them, a woman with long, flowing pink hair, seemed to be teaching the others. This is the person I should talk to, she thought, changing her direction and walking straight for them. When she came within a satisfying distance of the pinkette, Yuka stopped, performing a small bow of respect. "Hello, I've been looking about for someone to train me, and I was wondering if that person might be you." Chakra: 18/18

Hayate's eyes widened in disbelief, seeing the clone crumble after it was hit in the stomach and slapped in the face. Hayate grabbed his stomach and placed his free hand on his face "D-Doesn't that hurt Kai-san.." he asked the blatantly stupid question, clearly he missed alot in the year he dropped from the Academy. Nonetheless Hayate nodded, slowly weaving the hand seals, looking as if he was about to fumble them a few times, and once he finished he waited for something to happen although nothing did.

Hayate shook his head, ignoring the failure "U-Uh.." he stammered, he was about to ask for pointers but decided not to, he just needed a feel for it. Hayate generated the hand seals once again, a little more sure of himself this time, although with the same slow fumbling pace. A clone appeared, it was disfigured, and when Hayate jotted forward and flicked its forehead it disappeared in the fashion of a normal Bunshin.

Hayate growled lazily, he didn't like the idea of working so hard, tests really were hard. Hayate followed the same seals as before, slowly but with less fumbling and mistakes, and once he was finished a clone appeared, a real clone that actually looked like him. Now was the moment of truth, Hayate went forward and flicked the clones forehead, but alas it dispersed like a normal Bunshin yet again.

Hayate was determined this time, he came to the conclusion he hadn't been concentrating enough elemental chakra into the mix. Hayate formed the seals slowly but in an almost perfect manner now, finishing without any fumbling. The clone appeared, and just as it had shown up it disappeared, although this time it turned to rubble, which had his spirits somewhat higher "Too much elemental chakra.." he scolded himself in his slow dull voice.

Hayate placed the hand seals together one at a time, letting the elemental chakra pour into his technique as he finished the handseals. A perfect clone stood in front of Hayate, and when the moment of truth came and Hayate flicked the forehead of the clone, it crumbled into dirt and Hayate had a half smile sprawling across his face. Smiling wasn't easy for Hayate, he let the smile subdue into nothingness then turned to Kai "I did good.." he asked in the dull, slow voice he always had.
