((That's right Gerard, shoot it with a pistol! Huh, a gundam that responds to the person's movements...What Gundam show was that from? I used to watch it, but I forgot...))

Adalwulf patted Marie hard on the back, knowing it wouldn't hurt her. "See? Told ya things would work out!" He turned his attention to his laptop, deciding that the contained data swarm had stayed there for long enough. For several minutes, he debated on what to do with it, rubbing a hand on his stubbled chin thoughtfully. He couldn't send it back to Backdraft, that would be used against him, or something other, again. He couldn't add it to his arsenal either, it might be turned on it's sender by the original sender. That wouldn't be good. In the end, he destroyed most of it completely, then wiped up the remaining fragm, ents, doing numerous system sweeps and security checks to make sure they were all gone. He tapped a combination of keys, telling his computer to run more checks every hour or so. Couldn't be too careful. "If it can, then go for it. We'll be able to beat Chris back for atleast a little while. Do you know where it's located?" He asked Marie, taking the cork off his bottle again.

Demayn was about to laugh when he saw the look on Gerard's face. But it died in his throat when he heard it was tracking where they were. He watched Gerard rush off then, and having nothing else better to do, followed closely after him, his longs legs easily catching up. "Damn, I hate those things!" he muttered angrily around his cigarette. "I've had enough of 'em already!"

((I believe it was G Gundam.BTW, this one'll be long. Be ready

to read lol))
"We'll follow this map to Sector 13,"
Marie said, pointing to a blinking blip. As Marie drew closer
to the door to Sector 13, the nanite cloud under her robe
began to fluctuate. She opened the robe to see it, and was
greeted by the sight of the singlet morphing into a full-body
skinsuit. She smiled, plunged her fingers into the sealed door, and wrenched it open. Inside was the machine codenamed
Misericordia. Its armor was identical in styling to the
Censura, but this machine was painted stark white, with gold
accents. A large hologram display was built into the floor.
Marie moved to touch it, and her nanites began reacting. Marie
gasped as a mobile-suit sized image of seven people filled the
room. Doctor J, Professor G, Instructor H, Doktor S and Master
O were all seen standing towards the back of the view, looking
as if the years had been unkind to them. Standing in the
center of the image were none other than Zechs Merquise and
Lucrezia Noin.
"Greetings, friends. I am codenamed
Preventer Wind. Please, be patient with me, as I have a story
to tell you. In ancient times, long before man moved to live
in outer space, long before our technology grew on the Earth,
nearly all of Earth's ancient civilizations have passed down
legends of their heroes and villains. One such story, found in
all cultures, describes a great flood, that washed man off of
the face of the Earth. It has been said by our most brilliant
scientists that our civilization would become dust in the
wind, lost forever on the tides of time, should humanity ever
disappear in such a manner."
The images of the seven people disappeared, replaced by images of paintings, depicting great pyramids and buildings, displaying achitecture unseen by modern man. "The research of these scientists has brought an interesting fact to light. There was, in fact, a worldwide flood. Most of the world's people were destroyed, and their advanced ancient technology was all but lost. Consider the pyramids. For millenia, people have struggled to understand how such things were built by ancient man, with such limited tools. Through our research, we have discovered that they were in fact built by the remnants of the old Earth, with what little ancient wisdom they could bring with them. This machine, called Mercy, is all that remains of this ancient society. Christopher of Backdraft found its brother by mistake. Our scientists were not allowed to study Censura, but they did manage to map its unusual energy signature before the machine was locked away. Using that signature, the Preventers were able to locate another ancient machine--the only other remnant in the entire universe of this ancient society. That
machine stands before you now, and is the only thing capable of fighting Censura.
Zechs finished the explanation and stepped back, to allow Noin to speak freely."Marie Silenus, I am truly sorry for what you have been through. But what we did to you was completely necessary to end this war, and reawaken the ideals of the Sanq Kingdom. We had to find someone with piloting skill, technical know-how, and intimate knowlege of Backdraft. You represent all of those qualities. Your presumed death made you the perfect candidate to pilot Misericordia. Please forgive us, Marie, and John. The future is in your hands. You are the secret weapon of the Gundam pilots. Never forget your friends and allies! They need your help!" The hologram died, and lights came on across the hangar, illuminating the Misericordia. Marie opened the spacious cockpit, and jumped inside.

The dagger bounced right off and the solid shells were ineffective. "Hmph. Please did you not hear me before? You can't reach me. Solid, beam, or beam cannon. I am invincible." Chris zipped and spun destroying suit after suit. He wasn't worried about Kamon or John. They'd be left for last. Nick would take care of them for a bit. A few of the pilots were able to dodge him the ones unlucky enough were destroyed.

Nick flew over Kamon and begun to shoot at him with his venrirs and slash him at him with his sabers. He kicked John out of the way so he wouldn't interfere. "Now it's your turn to crash and burn Kamon." He spun his sbaers in his hands and made Ater Mico make a defensive pose.

"That's what you get for using the pieces of armor from other pilots idiot! Especially a pilot in Kamon's group. Or was I mistaken when I saw the original coloring on the plate?" Gerard turned a corner to see a crowed circled around a monitor. "Yo. What's going on?"

"Chris is fighting against the Gundam Pilot's army. He's destroying them. That new guy Nick is helping him though." The guy closet to Gerard said not looking away from the screen. Everyone started clapping as Chris destroyed another two.

A voice rang out across the stars, deafening to all ears. "Invincible, are you?" A white machine zipped around as a barely visible blur. "I don't think so. Judgment, meet Mercy! Nick, it's alright. I know what you're planning." The white mobile suit was every bit as fast as the black one. Marie chased Chris all over the battlefield, quickly gaining on him. When she was close enough to strike, she lashed out with one of Misericordia's formidible weapons: an antimatter cannon, left over from the ancient civilization that built Misericordia. Marie was confident to use it, because Backdraft's best think-tanks were not able to replicate or even completely understand the technology. The Censura was equipped with no such weapons. The antimatter released into the environment was guided by polarized nanites, also left over from the Ancients. The stream engulfed the Censura, digesting its planet defensors. Even Gundanium couldn't stand up to these outlandish weapons. The rest of the armament was unharmed. Marie recalled the stream back into a container somewhere on Misericordia.

"Evacuate! All pilots, re-enable hi-jammers, and fall back!"
((Oh, I've been meaning to ask you something, Strider. Are you still gonna do Black Tracks with us? We're kinda waiting on you. If you got bored of it, that's okay. Just lemme know so we can continue wating, or kill Russ off. lol))

((Ok i'll probably kill him off...makes drama no?))

Chris cursed as his shielding was disabled. "So i'm going to make a guess here. That is Censura's twin. I thought that those egg heads had found it before me. So tell me. Did you think I don't have ancient technology built in to this thing?" Chris opened the power core to reveal his energy crystal. "Unlimited energy. Though I don't have the weapons on hand I do have them. I would have installed them before I left had I known that Misericordia was on this colony." Chris thought for a moment and knew now that without his shield he was going to be forced to retreat. "Though I must applaud. You have changed my focus and priorities on who my strongest enemy is. With that i bid thee farewell." Like a blur Chris retreated. The fight hadn't been a complete failure. He may have lost Nick but now his list of enemies had severely lessened. Also now he knew what his greatest challenge shall be. He would have to reinstall all the ancient tech he had found with Censura and he would have to redesign his shielding to resist the antimatter swarm.

Nick put away his beam sabers. "I'm sorry for the hoax friends I was in a tight situation with Backdraft. I'm glad you guys are all okay."

Jack sighed. At least the fight was over but the casualties. "Well that's over with and not soon enough either. Well John...how many casualties?" Jack braced himself.

((If you want to. We'll miss you, though. Yeah, as it turns out, the zombie RP is harder to keep interesting without intelligent villains. But Ty and Dragon seem to be pretty creative. Maybe they can save it :3))"Not as many as he thinks. A lot of the closest mobile suits were RGM-79's, loaded with old White Fang Mobile Doll systems, and outfitted to look tougher than they were. I wasn't about to set pilots who don't know how that maniac operates against him. I'm still recieving all pilot signals, so maybe we just have some survivors floating around outside of their mobile suits." John's heart was beating out of his chest. That had been a close fight. "Marie, darling? Where did you uncover that lovely little machine?" Marie maneuvered the petite Misericordia closer. "The same place he got his new toy."

The group of pilots made their way back to the Gundanium plant, which was still en route to the Silenus family colony. Once there, Marie told the pilots what she had discovered so far.

"No one really knows how it works. The power source was discovered to be a miniature collapsed star, but nobody could figure out how it was compressed to that size, or how it stays stable. The sheer gravitational force from it powers the twin suits, Judgment and Mercy. It's so dense, it's almost impossible to stop its trajectory without the ancient tech. We're also at a loss as to how the weapons operate. Somehow, antimatter is produced and stored inside the Misericordia suit, but not in the Censura suit, according to our scientists. Also, we have no known defense against the antimatter weapon. Theoretically, an enemy could interrupt the nanite stream, but then the antimatter would destroy anything it touched, until it runs out of momentum. But by then, it will have devoured this entire star system."

Kamon was speechless at this revelation, but overjoyed at the same time. "I thought you had turned, glad to see you've stolen their suit, now we can work on speeding up our nanites to match his." He put his sabers away, the only damage to Yaiba cosmetic. "So, what's the new suit called?" He and Nick flew back to the refinery, landing near where Arashi lay on its side, unable to stand without a leg. "As you can see, Arashi took a lot of damage in the battle for the plant, as well as Raikou. He pointed to the CAS, where the still dark gray armor was being repaired. "Took out a good bit of the armor, and knocked off the left shoulder armor."

((I can make a villain, if needed. =D I don't think you've seen/read me RP as one yet, Silas.))

Adalwulf let a long, low whistle out, then spoke to Marie. "That's...interesting. But isn't that too risky, if that happened?" He saw Nick, and gathered from Kamon's actions, that he was still on their side. "Glad to have you back, Nick. Always knew you were too tough to die, though I'm not much for knowing you to begin with." He said, smiling. Lifting his bottle in salute, he took a sip. "Anyone want to have that drinking contest I suggested earlier?"

"Idiot, am I?" Demyan ground out from clenched teeth, careful to take the cigarette out of his mouth so he didn't bite off the end. "Well, if I had been given a decent suit to begin with, maybe I wouldn't have to steal other parts." He took a breath to calm himself and watched the screen as Chris sped away from the battle. "But, it does have it's uses, I'll say that."

"Well first off I've called it Ater Mico, the Dark Flash. I was able to save Dark Empros' A.I. so I use that." Nick went over to a table near the CAS. "That new suit Chris has is quit fearsome. He has weapons like Marie used. I saw them with my own eyes when I was in his hangar. I wasn't able to learn anything else but this. He's been experimenting with it. He swapped the ancient nanites with some of his own and is able to control what they do. So i'm glad Marie has a suit that can counter him. Though I expect you want to make the final blow yourself?" Nick smiled.

"Hmmm. Good." Jack thought for a moment. "You know I don't think he's a maniac. Chris I mean. No he's to clever and sharp to be crazy. Now I don't pretend to understand Chris, not in the least, but he's not a maniac. He is evil but not crazy. I think he's just like you and me. Mortal and I think it scares him. Maybe this is his way of trying to escape the reality of his own mortality. By attempting to control those who accept reality for what it is." Jack ended his thought.
PostPosted: Fri Mar 26, 2010 11:18 pm

"You're wrong, he is crazy. He has never had his brother help him in battle, he thinks he is invincible. Sooner or later he will mess up, and without his brother there, he will be defenseless. Till then, I say we take Adal up on his drinking contest, I doubt I'll win, but I'll give it a try. But first, to replace Arashi's missing leg and arm." He set to work picking Arashi up using a couple cranes, and began work on a new leg first, the arm he could fight without for now. 'And when Chris makes that one fatal mistake, I won't hesitate in ending his miserable existence...'

Chris entered his personal hangar with his brother close behind. "Well I am sorry I didn't warn you before I went and did what I thought was necessary, Brother!" Chris went and sat down in his computer chair clearly heated.

"Maybe so but for God's sake Chris you could have at least taken Shane with you. He is your personal guard. Heck you could have even taken Gerard. Someone other than that Nick. I never trusted him but you just couldn't listen to reason. You trusted him for some reason. You have never showed so much trust in me and I'm your brother." Al went to leave but stopped. "You know I think I know why you wanted to kill Kamon before you began your invasion and why you want to kill him now. It's because Kamon is the embodiment of all your guilt isn't he?" Chris didn't answer. "Well in any case the next time you go out I'm going with you whether you like it or not." With that Al turned and left.

Chris sat for a long time alone. Then he leaned back and began to cry.

"I'll take you up on that. I've had a few contests with my dad here. Now he is a man who can drink." Nick smiled.

"Well I don't like to brag but I think i could beat Adal in a contest. What'cha say Adal?" Jack called to Adal.
PostPosted: Sat Mar 27, 2010 1:55 pm

((Do I have to PM you, Neo, if something gets added to a suit?))

Adalwulf grinned, glad that others were as willing to relax after a battle like he was. "I say, let's see you try. And not the watered down stuff like I drink normally, real stuff." He called back to Jack. "Better hurry, Kamon. We're not going to wait long. What about you, Koza, Byrd, John, and Marie? We'll need a mediator to see who drops last."

Demyan soon grew bored, and as most of the crowd was dispersing back to their individual tasks, his stomach rumbled. "Well, I'm going to the mess hall. Then probably going out to train, or something." He walked away from Gerard without another word and pinched the end of his cigarette off, sticking it back in the carton. He found a nice seat away from everyone else after getting some food at the counter. Then he sat and ate slowly, trying to burn as much time as he could. "Maybe I should put a cannon on her..." He mumbled, thinking of Natasha.
