Why Give up...
"So you are going to the Udai?" Ichi asked looking at the girl slightly shocked; he hadn't expected for Kiko to be going to the Udai as well. As he heard the girl saying that his face lit of a bit more; the smile on his face growing lightly, despite the fact it was horrible new, he couldn't help but be happy with the news. (Not the whole attack part but the fact she was going to the same place as him) "Thats where I am g-" Before Ichi could Finish his comment He jumped back slightly as Kiko seemingly panicked over his arm. "Ummm.. nothing really" Ichi said like he had lost a hat or somthing other then an arm. "Sound Ninja attacked me and Saito" Ichi said still looking at Kiko with a smile. "I am actually going to the Udai right now to tell them what happened" Kiko didn't need to know that Saito was Dead; or that he knew the people who had done it; but then again if she asked he wouldn't lie.

 Kiko's face was pale, and her face fell. "I should have been there to protect you..." she said softly, big tears welling in her eyes. She snapped out a scroll from her pouch, her hands shaking slightly, and she gently prodded along the wound. What the heck had happened? It was like something had supercharged the metal in his arm and melted it off....which was probably good that it was that arm-he didn't have any feeling in that arm, which meant he'd avoid the pain. "Well..you can't go to the Udai looking like that..." she said quietly, looking at him, her lip still trembling as she held back from the outburst of crying she would have otherwise had.Tsukiko Theme

Ichi shook his head slightly. "It's not like I felt it, or like I used that arm a lot;.... or really at all" Ichi said looking at Kiko as she looked like she was going to cry at any moment. Ichi then sighed slightly as Kiko looked up at him; rubbing her shoulder slightly. "It's Fine you have nothing to feel bad about alright?" Ichi said; his smile fading slightly. "So what are you going to do?" Ichi asked confused slightly. Its not like they could just head into town, they needed to get to the Udai as soon as possible; meaning no unneeded stops.

Kiko almost bawled when he said that it was ok, and as he rubbed her shoulder. Now wasn't the time or the place to be the weak female, but god, Kiko just couldn't help it. She buried her face against his coat, two handfuls of his already ragged and burnt coat disintegrating in her hands as she cried. Nothing could console her for a little bit, so she cried it out and sniffled as she opened the scroll on the ground. "H-here...I think you're about the size of my teammate-he wears white pants. I need to fix your headband too, so...may I see it for a moment, while you change? I'll fix you a coat too, so you aren't cold, but change into your pants first...."Tsukiko Theme

Ichi looked at Kiko slightly as she handed him the other pair of Pants. "Thank you?" Ichi asked still a bit confused however she was right; his clothing was in bad condition to say the least; so he did something else to wear. As Kiko asked for his headband Ichi removed the article and handed it to Kiko; as she did what ever it was that she was going to do; Ichi walked away a bit and changed into the new pants; they didn't fit him perfectly; but close. They where a little big on him but not to the point they would be a hassle.

His headband was blown to pieces-the metal was still slightly warm, and warped ever so slightly as she pried it from the destroyed cloth. What could warp a headband? Kiko didn't know. She pulled a large package from her scroll-it contained a piece of black cloth that was used to transport people-a makeshift sling, etc. could also be cut from the black cloth. There were also strips of fresh bandages-she unraveled one, cut it, and sewed the piece of metal to the cloth. Hmm...wasn't there a shirt in there too? She rummaged a bit, and waited for Ichi to come out from changing-she'd have to help him with the shirt, maybe...Tsukiko Theme

After a few more Moments Ichi walked back out of the tree line where he had changed; He had already managed to unbuckle his coat and pretty much was ready to change into whatever Kiko had made for him; he enjoyed the time with Kiko but then again he also wanted to get moving; but a few minutes shouldn't hurt that too much. "So what did you make?" Ichi asked as he walked over to her; his coat pretty much already hanging off of him as he stood walked over.

She flushed a bit, and stood up, having found that shirt she'd stowed away in her supplies kit. Kiko held up his new headband, and walked over, tying it on his forehead. "I fixed it up for you," she replied, smiling. His shirt had suffered terribly-so she went ahead and slipped it off, flushing a bit deeper than before. Kiko swiftly moved to grab her bandages and antiseptic, and did a thorough cleaning of Ichi's shoulder, bandaging it slightly tight, before setting down the bottle of antiseptic. "Hold your arm out, please. I've got a new shirt for you too," she said, slipping it over his arm as he held it out for her. The other sleeve draped over and hung lifelessly against his side, and she tied the shirt at the side, and pinned the sleeve on the bad shoulder up so it wouldn't be in the way. "Now...to make your coat..."Tsukiko Theme

Why Give up...
"Thank you" Ichi said smiling happily to Kiko; a few months ago he would have been neon red and unable to speak at this moment; but that didn't appear to be the case any longer; however as she asked him to hold out his arm; he couldn't help but ask "Which one?" It was an attempt at a joke; a bad one; but an attempt none the less, the boy's smile remaining on his face as he looked down at Kiko. He didn't mind staying here for the moment; it had only been about ten minutes; and Ichi had needed to be taking a break soon anyway; and from what it looked like with Kiko she had been needing too as well.

There was a bittersweet smile on Kiko's face, as she laughed at his joke. He tried, at least...he didn't even stutter anymore. She was was proud of him-Kiko knew she'd left him in good hands with the Sentai man. She pulled the black cloth up, and unfolded it, making a type of wrap that went around Ichi's bad shoulder and came around his waist. She held it in place with a long bandage-she tied it on the opposite side so he could reach it easier. "Well...what do you think?" she asked, looking him over with approval.Tsukiko Theme

Ichi looked at The coat that Kiko had made and put on him; it almost reached the ground, and seeing as how it had been made for Ichi at this very moment it didn't even matter that he had a missing arm which was handy; he wouldn't have to keep pulling it up like he had needed to with his old coat; then again that might have had to be because of the coats condition. "I like it a lot" Ichi said smiling over at Kiko as he looked up from his new outfit. "It sounds like all I am saying is thank you; but... thank you" Ichi said nodding slightly to Kiko, using his free arm to move the cloth on his other shoulder slightly; to get it adjusted slightly. "So should we get going?" He asked still smiling towards the girl.

Her face was really red as she smiled back at Ichi. "Yeah...we should head out soon," she replied, giving him a slight Kiko-grin. "You've changed...a lot. But to me...you are always you, no matter how much you change." Kiko shifted slightly, giving Ichi a gentle hug. This disintegrated the remnants of the jacket in her arms, and there were two small clinks on the ground. She looked down, and picked them up. A lavender hairpin, and...the moon she'd given him. She looked up at him, giving him severe puppy eyes. "You...kept it...all this time?" she asked, holding the two objects out to him.Tsukiko Theme

Kiko's face turned beet red whenever he took the items from her-they meant a lot to him, she knew, but man, that was fast. Kiko smiled a bit nervously, though she grinned a bit. "I don't know...a lot of people would have thrown it away by now...but I'm glad you keep it with you. It means I can always be with you, even if I'm not there." Kiko stood on her tiptoes to give Ichi a light nosing, before kissing his nose and setting herself on the ground. She curled around the side with no arm protectively, and looked up at Ichi. As Kiko nuzzled up against him and Kissed his nose; Ichi smiled a bit more; and kissed the top of her head lightly as the two of them started walking; it wouldn't be too long before the two of them where actually at the Udai counsel. "So, it alright if you don't say why but why did you leave?" Ichi asked looking down at Kiko as the two of them walked. the Metal from his old coat still slithering up his one sleeve on the side opposite of Kiko. Forming into plates Just like it had before; however now that he was wearing an undamaged coat he could put more weight on one side then the other; meaning the extra weight on his left side made up for the missing arm; resorting his balance to normal.
