Taihara sat in the far back of the bird cage she was in. She glanced up at the adults and children stareing at her with bright eyes, she could hear there whispers as they commented. Why can't they just go away now. Taihara sighed slowly as she hugged herself closer, and folded her wings, her gaze turned to a teenager that was moving closer about to poke his finger into the cage. "just try it", she mummbled to herself.

Lily smiled one of her rare smiles at him. She wasn't quite expecting him to ask that of her. "Really?" She asked. She wouldn't mind in the least bit. She was forced to give the ringmaster readings all of the time. It'd be the first time an employee asked kindly of her to do it. "I'll be happy to if you'd like me to do it."
"Not yet, but if things get far enough.." The ringmaster muttered, a gloved hand resting underneath his chin. He stared at the boy through his crimson eyes. "Open your eyes boy. I know you're awake." He spoke directly to the young man in a chilling tone.

[[Maybe Lily will be confused, or her 'vision' would be clouded...because I was hoping that Neru would see Jojo soon, so he'd be torn between the two girls. xD Just a suggestion. :3]]
Neru grinned slightly, though it was rather hard to tell, with that high collar and all. He shrugged and gave a subtle nod.
"Sure. It's always fascinated me how your powers work...Psychometry, I beleive, is what you possess."
He tilted his head awkwardly and looked towards the floor, again, avoiding eye-contact. The split second that he'd seen Lily smile just now was enough to get his heart beating irregularly.
Adelphos nodded. So, just like the rest, if the child were to linger too far into dangerous territory, he'd be made into one of them. One of the freaks. Del shook his head lightly, hoping Lokin wouldn't see, as he looked at Scott. Sympathy glistened in his eyes as he watched the boy put up a joke of an act. It seemed like everyone could tell that he wasn't asleep.
Fera sniffed Scott's face, making sure he felt her breathe on him. Although, she didn't speak to him. Of course not. Not yet, that is. If he were to be turned into a freak, she wondered, what would Lokin have in store for him?

"Really? That's the word for it? Huh...never knew that.." Lily pondered for a brief moment. Lily smiled again, but a little awkwardly. He was avoiding looking at her again. She wondered what was up with that but gave herself a mental shrug and reached her hand halfway across the table. She assumed that he knew the way her abilities worked, through skin contact.

Neru nodded. He'd assumed that she knew what it was called, but then again, it'd only been a year. And who would be kind enough to a freak to communicate like this? And why hadn't Neru have come here earlier? What? These confusing thoughts zoomed through his mind as Lily extended her hand. He seemed to be caught off guard as he stared at her hand, before giving her his. Neru would hate it if she would be too astonished by the coldness of his skin. It was as if he were a corpse- icy cold, all the way through. The only parts of him that resembled a normal body temperature of a human were his head, neck, and torso; basically, anything covered with clothes or filled with much blood. Then again, it wasn't uncommon to have such cold extremeties, but in Neru's case, it seemed as though his hands should've been sawed off years ago. But, of course, he could always torch his hands a bit with his pyrokinesis, but remember, that would cause blisters and burns...

Lily didn't take too much notice into the fact that his skin felt like ice compared to hers. Its didn't really matter. She was already cold in there anyway, just staying in that drafty tent made her shiver. It was a wonder that she didn't catch colds on a daily basis. Her eyes fluttered shut a moment, a faint glow coming from the strange tattoos that covered her arms. It was barely noticable with the way the room was lit though, you wouldn't be able to tell unless you were staring at her hard. Past thoughts and masked emotions of his flooded through her mind, she didn't have control over what she did and didn't get to see, but the future seemed hazy, weak to her. It was cloudy. That sort of thing didn't happen to her too often, it only has happened once before when a guest at the Cirque had come into her tent for a reading. Her eyes opened slowly and at the same time, she slowly released her grip on Neru's hand. Confusion filled her eyes. She was at a loss for words. Only bits and pieces she could see of his future, it was like a puzzle with big pieces missing from it.

Neru lightly closed his eye as well, hoping to relax somehow. In addition, his eye being closed, he did not see her glowing markings. Although, Neru had almost felt some sort of connection made when Lily worked her magic on him. He expected it, them both being humans with ESP-related powers. What he didn't expect, though, was her initial reaction after she was finished. Once she let go of his hands, Neru's eye flashed open as he nervously retracted his hands. Lily looked so...hopelessly confused. What could she have seen?
"Lily?...Is there something wrong?" He leaned in a hit to see her blue eyes, "What did you see?"
He spoke softly and tried to be as sincere about this as possible. Something had really freaked the girl out, and Neru only hoped that she hadn't seen his past...Dear God, that would explain her horror.

Lily's baffled expression stayed fixed on her face. "It..." She struggled to put together the right words. Sure she had seen some awful things from his past and other seemingly normal things, but that wasn't the thing that confused the girl so much. "I can't really see your future for some reason." Lily stared at him in his visible eye, searching for some possible explanation. "Its filled with holes, almost like a puzzle with lots of the pieces missing. I can see other things..." She mumbled the last part. "Just the future is fogged over."

Neru straightened and pondered this. What could that mean? Surely Lily had enough experience to know what she was doing, so human error was out of the question. But, this obviously meant something. The first thing to pop into Neru's mind wasn't pretty.
"Do you think that...it could possibly means that I might...die soon?"
He gave a nervous little laugh and smile. Half of him yelled that death would be a priviledge, yet the other said it was not his time. It all only made him moreanxious to know what this could mean...

Lily shook her head, she knew that couldn't be it. "I've seen people die before in previous readings that I've done. That wouldn't be a reason why I wouldn't see it." She frowned, "I feel lost."

Jojo noticed the boy's eye twitch but her attention wandered over to the sound of a loud 'thump' on the wall. She stood up and saw Ethan holding Amelia by the neck. The half-witch knew how much he hated the Freaks but she was almost the total opposite. Which would make others wonder why she would have an interest in him. Frankly, there is something about her crushes that she liked but even she has no idea what it actually is. "Looks like you two are getting along just fine...",she said sarcasticly. One would wonder why the Ringmaster doesn't give a damn about her absency but it wouldn't be much of a surprise to see that the number of freaks increased from time to time. Which makes it a lot more harder to choose one to be set free. She watched with glee as Fera sniffed the boy's face.

Scott flinched at the tone as a chill ran up his spine. The voice in his head he heard earlier was back too. He opened his eyes to see three things that would likely have made him pee himself if he was a weaker person. When his eyes looked on to Amelia he was on his feet and against the nearest wall he could find which was a cage not but 5 feet from where he origanaly was. His eyes stuck on the beautiful women known as a vampire. The two larger creatures forgotten at the second. His eyes looked around at the many others there.
Ethan approached the group slowly rubing his wrist as he walked. He wanted to see how the boy was reacting. He almost laughed at the kids reaction to Amelia. But he turned his eyes and noticed Master Lokin was present and held his tongue. He nodded to the others in the area.
[[I finished my finals today and i passed them all! HAHA. And my computer is back for the time being. Hopefully it doesnt spazz out on me again.]]
