Kenji focused his illusions on covering him and his team as best as he could, but sometimes it would just slip, nothing too big. It was definately not enough to let them find out their location, that's for sure. Kaname, Zero, and Sosuke had to get close enough to shoot their weapons, and so far, they had lost the group of pesky Nightshades their master wanted in the mist. "Can't these things go any faster?" Kaname growled, refering to the transportation. "It's already going fast enough." Kenji replied apathetically and Kaname sent him a glare. "Besides," Kenji continued, ignoring the glare. "We're nearing on them already....."

"I'm working hard, its tough staying in the air!" She shouted, annoyed. She flapped harder, and Ben frowned. "Zoe, your going to hurt yourself, don't pressure yourself." He said, rubbing her side. "Ive got it Ben!" She shouted, flapping faster. She was panting. "Wake everyone up, I need them to be ready to hang on!" She shouted back. Ben sighed, and shook everyone. "Wake up, now!" He said loudly. Zoe shook, her heart faltering. "I cant go much father!" She shouted, panting harder. She roared, hoping for some thing to come, like more strength, but nothing came but pain. Ben shook the others, frantic. "Wake up, we have to move!" He shouted, shaking them.

((I want Kenji, he's hot! And Zero... *Does wave with eyebrows.* ))

"Wha-" Zoe was cut off by a thick mist that had covered the air around them. She growled angrily, and shot up, but the mist followed her. She roared angrily, shooting to the ground, but it followed again. "I cant see anything!" She shouted, going of smell. Ben glanced around, worried. "This isn't good." He muttered, changing to the only other form h had, his own Dragon form. He jumped off her back, and held out his wing. "Everyone off Zoe! She cant take it, she's going to crash soon." He shouted. Zoe panted, looking around. Zoe tilted herself a little, so that the ones still sleeping would roll onto Ben. He caught them. "Get on!" He shouted. Zoe felt sleepy, and her muscles where so soar, it was hard to keep her wings moving. She shook her head, but it felt like the mist had covered her mind, and was knocking her out. She was going down slowly, her eyes struggling to stay open.

Zoe shook her head. Terr's words sounded like they came from a distance, but she tried repeating them in her head, but they faded away. "So...tired..." She uttered, her eyes closing as she nose dived to the ground, sleeping deeply.

Rogue felt herself plummeting but couldn't make herself wake up. Kaien's eyes shot open as he realized his was falling and made a grab for his sister and friends. Shinji's arm went out automatically and a plate of metal captured them. He missed Eve, but everyone else was caught in his web. "Hunters." He muttered, referring to the fog.

Kenji clenched his fist in front of him and the illusion of the fog swirled and pulsed. "One of them has been separated..." He reported and Sosuke nodded. "I'm going after her." He announced and fell backwards off their bird gracefully. Zero stood up. "We take the rest." He said quietly and Kenji nodded. Kaname gave him a 'hmpf' of annoyance and they all backflipped off the bird.

Sosuke crept through the forest, sensing the aura of the woman, Eve, in front of him. He touched the side of his goggles and the illusion parted for him, letting him see the limping Nightshade not too far ahead. He stretched out his arm, energy gathering in the palm of his hand, molding into the shape of an ornate bow. He pulled, electricity shooting from his hand, forming an arrow. "This might sting a little..." He murmured and shot.

Kenji, Kaname, and Zero landed on different trees around the metal plate holding the other Nightshades, and a human. Psh, please. A human? He'd be the last of their worries. Kaname tensed, ready to jump in. Zero held out a hand, then nodded and all of them jumped onto the plate. Kenji moved his fingers quickly, hiding them, and the mist parted to create a barrier around them.

I think Striker left before the first encounter with Aun because my character had more or less teamed up with him. I wonder why he left. Oh well, girls tend to be more fun anyway.))

Eve heard something behind her a little too late. The arrow hit her in the shoulder and she winced. She reached for it and tried to pull it out, but Sosuke was already holding the electricity in place, sending more into her body. Eve could feel his breath on her shoulder as he came closer. "Who are you?" she muttered more to herself then to him. She could feel his smugness and decided the best way to defend herself would be to wait for the second when he let his guard down. But for now, she would act.
"Ow!" she yelled. She fell to the ground on her knees and acted like she couldn't move. She could feel his smugness grow and she tried to hide her disgust. She waited one more minute until she was sure he would be caught slightly off guard.
Eve jumped up and Sosuke sent more electricity into her shoulder, trying to stop her. Eve closed her eyes and when she opened them again, they were red. "Careful, you don't want to get sucked in to eternal hell!" she snickered and turned around, ready to send him into the endless void.
She hesitated when she saw his face. "You're younger than I expected." she lowered her gaze and took out her dagger. Why? she asked herself. Why won't you send him into the void? It would be so much easier! She let her dagger turn black and she prepared to defend herself, filling it with a non lethal poison. "Shadows, come out and play!" The shadows of the surrounding trees came to dance around her. She smiled. "I will not kill you, but please tell me why you are here." Why? Why? Why?! she thought again.
Instead of answering, he got ready to attack again. "You're just not going to tell me," she sighed. She pointed at his hand and one of the shadows followed. It rode up his arm and turned it black. "Poison, she said. "The poison of the shadows. It will not kill you; only paralyze you. Which is what I believe you were trying to do to me?" She smiled coldly. "It's a shame thou aren't on my side."

Sosuke scoffed. "I think you're forgetting something..." He reached with his free hand and touched the shadows making it receed. "Wouldn't have Aun already tell me about this and made me immune to it??" He pulled out his bow again and electricity formed another arrow. "You should know full well why I'm here, Eve." He murmured. "Even if I didn't want to, I must follow his wishes. We owe him our lives...."

Terrion watched Zoe plummet to the ground in horror.

"No, Zoe, no..." she whispered, her hand covering her mouth in shock. Elia put his hand on her shoulder gently. Terr trembled, unsure if she should use her powers to help ease and maybe mend Zoe's pain and broken bones. Again, Elia prodded her, but this time, pointing her towards a man who was half in and out of a bush. The mist started to thin a little as Elia used his nature powers a little to cause a soft breeze.

"Zoe..."

"You couldn't have protected her from that, Terrion." Elia said softly.

"But I could've taken the fall for her!" Terrion cried.

"You would have been killed. In her dragon form, Zoe's tougher and stronger. Terrion, you would have died." Elia kept a firm hold around Terr's waist. "You would have died in vain," he added more gently.
