L.J. gave Asmodeus a smile in return. When her expression changed, he sensed the two people. The smile vanishing from his face, L.J. unsheathed the katana he always had with him and waited, hiding behind a tree.

Asmodeus tensed, taking out her gun and subtly hiding in behind her back. "Someone's coming." She murmured. "More than one." She hid behind the tree on L.J.'s right.

Valentine pulled out her stun gun and stood her ground, aiming it in the direction the noise came from. She shood Winter behind a tree with a hand motion behind a tree.
Vallie placed her hand on the trigger and took in a deep breathe. Its not like the gun would kill anyone, just send an electric shock through their body and knock em unconcious for a few hours.

Kevin started to move again, at last, as the mad man named Nicolas put his rifle down. He started to follow him, when he was told of others and if he had a weapon. "There are others? Wow. How haven't you been found? As for the weapon, I prefer a knife." He said, pointing to his pack.

Rave got a hard look in her eyes and she poulled the hunting knife she was going to give to Nick and hid behind a tree next to Asmodeus. "there are two people, moving fast heading this way" she murmered to herself, "Vallie, can you get a good shot in, in case it isnt anyone friendly? all you need is to take down one, we can handle the rest" she said, her mind calculating all the ways she can attack them, trying to make sure none of her own got hurt, these people were more family then her flesh and blood and she would rather die than let one of them get to injured.

Asmodeus closed her eyes, straining her ears to listen to the conversation between the two. Whoever it was, there weren't keeping themselves hidden very we- "No wait! It's Nic!" She called but frowned. Who was that with him then?? One of the people they were supposed to meet??

L.J. raised his arm and bit down on the blade. With it safely held between his teeth, L.J.climbed up the tree silently. When he reached a sturdy branch that he could crouch down on, he held onto the katana with his right hand and waited for Nic and the stranger to emerge into his line of sight.

Zekiel whistled softly, leaning on the trunk of the tree, legs propped up on the branch. What was that about the other resistance group again...? Oh yeah, he was sent to pick 'em up. Where were they?? He was told that they'd arrive here today or something...He tapped his foot impatiently and felt slight pain shoot through his left arm. He grit his teeth and tensed, waiting for the pain to pass over. When it did, he sighed and swung down from the tree with his good hand and dropped to the earthy ground, when a thought struck him. What if the group was intercepted on the way?? He sighed. This was such a bothersome job...

((Sorry everyone I thought I posted this before, my computer was acting up, mustn't have went through))
Nicolas shook his head.
"A blade is only useful close courters, and if you can toss it it only takes out one. You should have at least one range weapon, even if you can't shoot straight. A gun pointed towards someone's head is more threatening then a knife." Nicolas looked out amongst the trees, he knew some of his group was out there. He could tell by the quiet, there were no birds, and if it was military there would have been signs.
He talked loudly enough for anyone in the immediate area to hear.
"You don't have to worry about the group, their pretty smart, that's why we've gotten so far. And they should know you as a friendly once they see me with you, you see they know that anyone that was working for the coded I'd have found out and killed the b*****d and every coded with a mile radius before they'd get even the slightest chance to use me against my own!" Nicolas empathized the last part, making it more and more obvious that he was addressing the trees and brush around them.

Asmodeus poked her head out from the tree. "Damn, no surprise?" She stuck out her tongue, but kept her gun by her side. "If ya didn't take so long, we wouldn't have to be so cautious." She mutttered and her eyes were wary as she scrunitized the new comer. "And who's this?"
Zekiel was already through the woods when he heard the slightly raised voice of a guy who, by the way he was emphasizing how much he was not on the coded side, was part of a resistance. Found 'em.

Cam stepped out from behind her tree, hanad still holding the knives. "whos this guy?" she asked cautiously. "i know he's not one of Them but i'm not taking chances, we were to nice last time and look what happened, we get shot and someone knows our names. not good" she remarked, red eyes taking in every detail like a predator, not at all like she usually is. "he worth it Nicolas?" she asked moving to stand with Asmodeus under the tree that L.J. was in.

"Well I guess you don't want my rabbit stew." Nicolas held up the rabbit in his left.
"His name's Kevin. And I went over him myself." Nicolas checked over his rifle absent mindedly and looked around.
"I was thinking you guy's take him back to camp, clean up bugs here and we'll eat as we're on the move. L.J. and I can scout the path ahead really quick. See if we can spot any sign of this pick-up man, that's suppose to meet us."

Zekiel swung upside down from the tree, legs gripping the branch. "No need, amigo! I'm already here." He dropped himself to the ground, careful not to use his left hand. "Well, what's up? Damn, I thought you were captured by coded. But here's where you've been hiding out all this time?" He held out a hand. "Name's Zekiel Hunter, by the way. I was sent here to escort ya'll back to base." Asmodeus sent him the slightest nod and went to pack up.
