Ahh yes, I remember those days! Every time my kids cut a tooth, they'd get cranky, run a fever, and get a snotty nose, then....surprise! There was the tooth. The doctors would say that the symptoms had nothing to do with teething, but it's amazing how all 4 of my kids displayed the same symptoms every time a tooth was coming in! lol Now my youngest one is getting braces on his nashers on Thursday! blaugh

Cold wet washclothes... get 'em wet, wring 'em out, and stick 'em in baggies in the freezer... let baby chew on 'em as needed. Works much better than teething rings, and recyclable, too. 3nodding
Kisses her lil noggin for us. heart

I have heard doctors say that also, but she was up all last night and ran fevers averging 103... but it couldn't have been because of teeth... oh no... The longest she slept was for and hour and a half, and that is when I put the cold (after she sucked out all the cold water) wash cloth on her forehead, left it there, and fell asleep with her. She has this thing that looks like a cross between a popsicle with mesh over it and rattle with no rattler. The mesh part opens up to put "stuff" in it, like food, ice, frozen fruit, etc... so younger kids do not get chunks of things in their mouths that could make them choke, yet they can chew or suck on the stuff and get the juice out. I have been putting a lot of frozen things (veggies, icecream, ice, apple slices) in it for her. Her auntie gave it to her and it has been a wonderful thing.

That is such a cool gadget! I wish I knew where you could get them!
Poor little love. Does she get diaper rash bad too? My kids did. If she does, try stuff called Bag Balm. That stuff's great for clearing up the rash. It's actually for cows udders originally, but they discovered how well it works on little tykes.

She hasn't had much of a rash... just a few bumps here and there, not at all like my 17 year old had during teething. I will take into account the bag balm, I wish I knew about that before.
The teether thing was just picked up at Wal-mart, Skye had grapes in it today... that went over very well for her. whee

I don't remember exactly what happened, but I'm not one to dwell in the past.

HOWEVER, we're trying to buy a house and it is coming up as an obligation on our part, regardless of the lack of late payments it still takes from the total income which means they think we cannot afford the house!
