Kyoshi looked at her with icy blues eyes then looked down at himself. "Does it bother you?" He took out a cig and lit it. He walked up to the milk and poured a glass. He drink the whole thing and washed the glass. "Did you find your companion?" Slightly amused by her blushing.

Dusk shook her head, sitting at the table. "No...just shocked me. And I mean... I didn't know who you were..." Who'd of thought such an a** hole would be that...hot?! Dusk mused to herself, a smile on her face. "Yeah. I found Mist. But...he's happy. I told him where i was and that he could visit." She glanced at him. "That ok?" Without waiting for a reply, she looked at the food.
"Animal shapes? Are you serious?" She took off her trench coat and the other coat under that. She had on a black wifebeater. Tossing her other layers over on the floor, she took a bite of the food. "Huh..." She smiled a bit. "You can actually cook..."
On her arms were numerous scars, but she didn't care. The house was too hot, the heat from outside coming in. Loverly... She thought.

Kyoshi finished his cig and walked over to the sliding door. Closing it he walked back to Dusk only he stood next the refridge so he doesn't crowd her. "I haven't cooked in a long time so I'm shocked that you say it's good." He looked at the pancakes then at her. "Dusk. Did you see an envelope on the table before you left to Devil's Nest?" He crossed his arms over his strong chest, the muscles playing under smooth lightly tan skin. His still wet hair fell over his eyes, hiding the blue depths from view.

Dusk refused to look at him as she ate. "No, wh-" She blinked. "Wait...oh yeah..." She jumped out of the chair, and grabbed her trench. Her lithe body now in perfect view. "Here, I was pissed so I grabbed it. Didn't read it though." She shrugged. "Figured...figured it wouldn't be worth it." And she wasn't lying. The envelope was still sealed and everything.
Tossing it to Kyoshi, she shrugged. "I'm surprised I didn't read it...but... oh well." She went back to her food. "It's not bad food." Dusk laughed a bit. "Though...again. Animal shapes? Really?"

Catching the envelope in his hand he looked at it. "I was doing something in her honor." He said softly. He opened it carefully. 'Damn she has a nice....No! Don't go there. No chance in hell, heaven or anywhere, even here.' He looked at the documents of what the job entailed and the amount he would get if he chose to do this job. The only thing missing was who he this job was about. That was just stupid. He would curious and yet suspicious. It was all a trick to get her to see him again. That was it. That sly vixen dared to do this to him. Looking away he looked at the floor, thinking. This was very difficult since he couldn't do much without worrying about Dusk. 'Worry about her? Never.'

Dusk noticed the looks that she was given, recognizing them instantly. Hmm...no! Bad Dusk! Eat your food, and act the age he thinks you are! She began eating, but wondered. Do i want him to think I'm only 19? Dusk tapped her mouth with the fork. "Hey..Kyoshi..." She was looking at the wall, thinking.

Kyoshi snapped his head at her. "What?" Out of no where the air conditioner turned on. The cool air came in and really did a wonders on his heating skin. 'Maybe I should put my kimono on. Nah, she's just going to have to deal with it.' "What is it?"

Fenix arrived at the house "hey Coree! i got some candy!" he yelled at him as he went to the kitchen and set the bags full of treats on the table, he took a seat and waited for Coree to come down
coree saw the girl that mist was talking to 'they must be friends...' he said turning around hearing Fenix yell something about candy 'yay!' he said excitedly, he ran down stairs hoping mist was going to come down too

She still didn't look at him, but the air around her that finally decided to cool down gave her a few goosebumps. "How old do you think I am?" She tapped her mouth again with the fork. How old was she? It had been a while since she had thought about it...
Mist jumped back in Coree's room. "Candy?" He said. Racing down, he met up with Coree and Fenix, looking at the bag of treats.

"Old enough." He put the envelope in the drawer. He didn't want to deal with that now. Running a hand through his silvery hair, he looked at Dusk. "So. Since your propably bored here. What do you want to do?" He had to make the best of it until he got more information on Zaine and on the would-be employer.

Dusk shook her head. "I'm just curious..." She laughed. "Everyone thinks I'm like... 19...." She looked at Kyoshi. "Does that seem right?" Taking another bite of the food, she kept the fork in her mouth, chewing on it. "And...I'm not bored. Not at the moment." Dusk was too busy thinking about things. If she became bored, then things became missing.

fenix smiled when Coree came down and was surprised to see Mist here too "hey your still here, i thought you had left" he said giving him a comforting smile
Coree saw the bag filled with candy, his mouth was watering, eager to have something sweet to eat

Kyoshi grinned at her, changing his usual scowl into something more alluring. "I think you like an old lady who's lucky to look like a 19 year old." He teased lightly. Hopfully she didn't get mad at him for saying that.

Dusk almost choked on the fork, and gave him a WTF?! look. But then broke out laughing. "Haha! I'm old enough to be one..." She laughed again. "Haha, well now...and old lady living with an even older old man...hehe..." She wasn't mad, but threw the fork at him. "Be nice, Old Man."
Mist shrugged. "Well...my friend came and said that if it was ok with you guys...I could stay here..." He gave a puppy dog look, hoping that he could stay. He really liked it here, and Coree was one of the only other people he was willing to call a friend other than Zaine and Dusk.

Kyoshi rolled his eyes and pretended to have a bad back like an old man. He caught the fork and then tossed it back at her. "Listen Old Lady, you still need that to eat with. Unless your teeth have fallen out and you need it to be blended?" He was teasing her. He liked her laugh. It was the first time he actually likes something. He wanted to hear it again. Hopefully she would laugh.
